Anyone here have info on these type of cruises? I've read the threads here on going on the big cruise ships but I'm thinking the smaller yacht charter-type cruises are more chill and personal, and may have higher quality girls...or bring your own gang for a more private time.

Here are some of these types of cruises:

these ones are interesting, they're a mix of sailboat and cruise ship:

I want to do one of these someday, but it seems too romantic for single people.

Check out Yacht Week

Few locations to choose from depending on how hard you want to party.
Croatia probably the best for a full on week on drinking and partying.

Wow, now I've got something to dream about. All I need is a $2-3k of disposable income and 10 more friends with the same amount.

Jumping on a yacht to Europe with a group of Australians who incessantly spend their mining salary on 2 weeks of hedonism in Trip, Croatia...

.
.
I'd rather go to Ibiza.

@tonipepperoni
It's not that bad. Picking the right crew makes a whole lot of difference. When I went there was a good mix of germans, brasilians and spaniards to separate the hordes of aussies and americans.
A good opportunity for those connoisseurs who enjoy capturing flags

In terms of bang for buck value... what you will get out of the trip is a regurgitated cushioned version of your life in Australia with a few insertions of yoloism.

I have no doubt you had fun, compared to most Australian travel destinations, it probably is fun. But that's like saying contiki is fun.

My main point is, you'll be in Croatia without ever being in Croatia. Your perceptions of Croatian culture/women will be next to nil.

You will be surrounded in your little comfort zone of other yolo-travellers while being completely indifferent to local Croatian talent in Dubrovnik.

At the end of the day such a trip is only self-affirming, it is never an exposure to another world.

Would an Aussie guy who's barely been in Europe (4 weeks of travel to Budapest, Prague, Ibiza, Berlin doesn't count) ... done a minor stint in S.E.Asia have fun on such a trip? Yes, sure.

Would an Aussie guy who lived in a FSU country for 2 years be a fan of such a trip? No, he'd fucking hate himself.

You're better off spending your money on something else.

i've been on 3 trips with free & easy traveler now, and they've all been huge parties with almost completely girl groups (3-4 dudes with 15-20 girls each time). they just added a new yacht trip through croatia that looks pretty sweet and also takes ya to venice and ultra europe fest. https://www.freeandeasytraveler.com/adve...yacht-week
