How would I get this manufactured?

The original company only made 100, and I'm betting they charged more than $100 for them.

is it normal wrench? It looks to me that you need a large enough pipe and then twist this wrench around the pipe somehow, maybe even press the wrench with the pipe. You probably need some hydraulic system if you want to make more then 1..

Haha it's not normal look at the boxed end. Just buy them in raw form and heat them to bend then send them off for plating. Look for a local place that does plating or google and you can plate them in your garage.

You could have MikeCF or Fisto bend them for you [Image: biggrin.gif]

Too thin and the boxed end looks cheesy. Let me poke around but if you bend them with heat it will mess the chrome up so look for raw steel.

Edit:

only 900

A mere 450 Euros! But they're made of silver...

Figure you could get a cool alloy that's bendable enough and charge a hunsky.

Good product idea, I can imagine there would be millions of them sold especially as gifts. I would buy 2 right now.

I checked the google traffic, of the 4 variations

spanner bangle
spanner bracelet
wrench bangle
wrench bracelet

Only wrench bracelet gets traffic, 110 searches per month.

To sell it, I'd have to use social media/blog promotion, because it's not something that's organic. But that's how I found out about it, lulz.

how do you get that on your wrist if its one-size?

It would be cool if one end could double as a bottle opener or screwdriver to make it useful

Also, you may try giving blitz a call to find the OEM. Some smaller companies are surprisngly forthright about those things if it was just a one time limited edition thing. You never know and it cant hurt to try. Either that or they may have some extra in stock to purchase.

edit: never mind, saw it was still being sold. thought it was discontinued

Not exactly unique - you can get them at Nordstroms:

If I was testing the market I'd have them 3D printed using laser sintering. There are shops that will print on demand for you so no real up front costs besides making a 3D model.

You slide your wrist in side ways and then turn it.
