Jezebel article AGAINST women acting masculine

In regards to college drinking, the article says women are acting like men, drinking like men, and even pines for the old days when excessive drnking by women was looked down upon...

Speaking as an experienced drinker, I can guarantee that these women are not "matching men one for one". Most men hardly bother to match each other shot for shot. College chicks in particular lack the aggressive "let's get wasted" mindset when partying anyway.

All that considered, women still have the pussy pass whether they're trying to be "one of the bros" or not, and this article failed to mention that drinking your face off is fun.

Quote:Quote:

the countless women who sit in college bars across the country trying to fit in with guys by matching them drink for drink at their own peril due to an obvious biological disadvantage—conforming to the male social standard beats submitting to admittedly rigid female gender roles.

I've met skinny girls that can match men one for one. How old are you?

American girls get a lot of shit, deservedly so, but a lot of them can drink like fish. It really is something else to experience being out drunk by a girl half your size. I'm not a lightweight either.

Yea, girls generally can't drink as much on average, but young American girls, they can drink more than any other woman in the world if nothing else.

does that mean they're also against women being able to fix car engines or doing home repairs?

Every time I've heard a girl say she can go shot for shot with a man, she's ended up on the floor, puking. It's a natural extension of the 'anything you can do, I can do better' syndrome that tells them to succeed in school and then go get a high-powered career. Failure to outcompete men in the drinking department is visible on a much shorter time-scale than the failure in life that following feminist ideals will lead her to. She passes out within a few hours, whereas it takes over 20 years to end up barren and alone.

I guess any behavior that betrays a character flaw is inherently masculine?

Girls shouldn't be drinking so much. But do women really need to be on college campuses in the first place? [Image: lol.gif]

This is our version of equality: Collegiate women are now expected to be both feminine and sexually attractive, as well as "one of the guys" who can drink and party as much as their male friends can.

Hey, Starbucks has high standards. You can't be any kind of Barista without 3 years of study and $80,000 in student loans under your belt.

French-Canadian women can drink their fair share. I don't get sauced up like I used to but I can still drink a fifth/26 of booze with no problem and still go for more. I've had some women be able to go drink for drink with me but to then it's a cultural and sometimes genetic advantage. I've had tint Russian women drink Vodka like water and carry on their night.

The only trend I see is women NEEDING the alcohol just to function normally in a social setting. Any date I am on the girls are rare to slam back the drinks and chug most of there drinks so quickly. I'm past the point of wanting to get fucked up like that. A beer or three gets me warm and then I am fine. These girls will order pricy cocktails from a bartender and not even enjoy them, my last date orders some fancy 12$ drink and then chugged it after one or two sips. That's redneck shit we did in the boonies out West, I find it surprising "refined" Toronto women are drinking like that now to be honest.
