I think one of the problem is that he seems to misunderstand the manosphere and lumps everyone together.

That happens if you rely only on mainstream media to assess a movement.

Even some public Red Pill women & MRAs don't get some Players and PUAs on why the heck they are doing what they are doing.

We should have an article on the parts of the Manosphere for showing to people the different beliefs out there:

- Professionals PUAs
- Crazies who deny Game, use some knowledge of Female psychology and just hate everyone - women, men with Game, men successful w. Women (PUAHate)
- Any mixture of the above, but usually Game-awereness & acceptance of female psychology is a key point

Granted I think there's a bit too much bitching about women in the manosphere myself, but to these people if you criticize women in any way shape or form you are a misogynist. These people see it everywhere. To them, a few bad jokes are evidence of a deep societal misogyny, so you can just guess how something thoroughly unorthodox like the manosphere would be.

1). No speech is ever "unecessary." Ever. If someone feels the need to say it, it's necessary for them. This is the lowest way to try and invalidate someone and shows how little he thinks of men. Think about that word: unnecessary.

2). Where is the violent speech he speaks of? Not here. Not on the MRA sites, as far as I know. I have been in the manosphere since around 2005, and never have I seen wanton threats.

Or by "violent speech" does he simply mean criticism of women? Is that where we are now? That any criticism of women makes such people feel "unsafe" (the new buzzword) and is therefore violent?

It's a nice ploy to try to put a group of people above reproach, but it's backfiring. People are now going back to seeing women as the fragile, wilting flowers of the Victorian Era who can't handle criticism or intellectual disagreements. And, for argument's sake, even if it the speech here was "violent," we could point out feminist sites or even some sports blogs that fit that description.
