Chris Gethard: MRA/Manosphere Guys Just Need To, Like, Chill

Whomever 'ManofFriendship' is in the comment threads for Gethard's video, largely copying and pasting my earlier comment about paying off my mortgage with some slight modifications, it's not me. (Hell, my girlfriend and I only hooked up at Christmas - not '2 years').

Get your own fucking life, you wanker. [Image: tard.gif]

Thanks to Teedub for the heads-up.

Sounds like

The day beta doth protest too much

This guy is probably subconsciously feeling the opposite of what he says, but he's doing reaction formation and spouting feminist tripe.

Just look at him.. There's something really off about the way he carries himself. He's like reek from game of thrones.

He's taking the perspective that game is about "tricking" women. I'd say it's more about the guy not being tricked by society. It's guys taking the initiative.

How can you trick someone into having sex with you? What does that even mean?

Did you trick them because they were turned on by you or something you did?

The trickery and illusion is that men should just accept their status in life as sexual losers.

Well, we are in America, and the American dream is all about fulfilling your dream despite adversity. That's why so many people are inspired to move here.

American men are waking up and thinking "I'm not going to let my life slip away from me. I'm going to make the most of it while I can."

We want women to look good and we have no problem with doing our best to give women what they want as well. Game is about giving women a guy that turns them on.

The truth is even in our current system the feminine imperative as well as the global plutcratic system is based on Blue Pill Men.

Due to harder economic times as well as a marginal Red Pill-realization of men some feminists have adjusted their tones - at least those addressing the average woman and not some delusional XoJane-reader:

What we’re graphically witnessing is the fluidity with which the feminine imperative can realign itself socially to better affect its propagation. You see in 2008 the message to men (that resonated with women) was Fem-Up; stop being so insecure in your masculinity and do the dishes and laundry – the payoff will be more sexual access. In 2013 the message to men (again resonating with women) is Man-Up; stop being such a house frau and get out int the yard and mow – the payoff will be more sexual access.

Don’t be fooled into thinking that this is just another example of women’s fickle duplicity. A lot has happened socially in the five years between these articles; the End of Men, Kate Bolick, feminine triumphalism, men “checking out”, kidults, ‘late term’ spinsters unable to find “acceptable” men, etc. and a whole slew of other gender shifts occurred between both these articles. What Mapes’ most recent article represents is the feminine imperative reworking an outdated feminine social convention to accommodate women’s Man-Up needs in 2013 that it actively extinguished itself in the Fem-Up years leading up to 2008.

We must never forget that THEY need us more for survival than we them! We are perfectly happy playing the field until our 60s, while most women desire some children. But again - streets and cities filled with single moms might be the future for the West anyway.

The less men there are who are like Gethard, the more dutiful and clueless Beta-providers are out there who can get divorce-raped according to the Alpha-Fucks-Beta-Bucks strategy.

This guy reminds me of all of the try hard's growing up who didnt amount to much. The kids who got straight A's in grade/jr/high school, were in all of the advanced classes, NHS, in drama/band/art, were basically seen as most likely to succeed.

Then they bought their own BS, got lazy and rebellious in college, then tried to go their own way, but it ended up some inconsequential(e.g. low earning) liberal cause.

Grew up with a ton of kids like this. One was a rabid PETA protester who went to jail. Read his resume and he is one of these types. Probably would have made a better accountant.

"One day you'll be, like, 37 and you'll have a mortgage," he says, "and you'll be totally okay with that. You'll be completely fine." And if you don't quit this shit, he adds, "It should be legally bound you never find love."

Hey, I remember 37! I was knee-deep in pussy, and had paid off my mortgage by 30 because I didn't have a wife draining my finances by constantly buying useless, pretty things to socially-compete with her frenemies.

Currently railing an 18-year-old every night and her parents think I'm a 'good influence' on her, so who the fuck cares about 'love', or what some dude who looks like an old lesbian thinks of my lifestyle?

You're probably a better influence on the modal 18-year old girl than some 18-year old frat boy dude.
