The answer is probably less specific than you would like. Believe it or not, the best places are the malls in those communities--at least for day game. Montebello Town Center, for instance, was THE day-game spot for this type of action back in the day. The young and skinnier set hit those places. You couldn't throw a rock and not hit one.

But you have to have rock-solid Latina game, which is WAY different--in my experience--than hipster game, sorority white-girl game, and other styles. It definitely takes practice. Some decent Spanglish and slang is a near-necessity. If you're hollering to a young girl, there's even a chance you may have to chat her mom up! That sometimes requires full-on Spanish and the right kind of old-school manners and smoothness (varying, of course, according to the FOB factor). But, it works, if you know what you're doing. I've had MOMS, on more than one occasion, literally give me their daughters' phone numbers in front of them. It's just part of the culture. One time, I talked to a mom who literally WALKED ME OVER better-looking daughter, who was a solid 8.5 and 18-years-old. When I saw her, I instantly chubbed out a little bit. True story. What's more, there's less of an age issue in Latin culture. They almost EXPECT you to be a good 5-8, even 10 years older that the bitches. No bullshit.

I used to hit up the FOB clubs once upon time and sweep up the Central American babes; at places like TEXIS or BAHIA. But it was never my preference, so I didn't stick with it. These days, I'm reconsidering.

But I know a guy who turned it into a high-art. He could go into one of these clubs blind-folded and pull a decent 6 or 7 TONIGHT, if he had to. His Latina hoochie game is the best known to me. But, it's funny to see him try to use that shit on white girls and hipster weirdos and get written off as a sleaze.

I worked all over LA as a youth and am familiar with the Latino hoods of OC and SD as well.

I wouldn't call myself an expert, but I did a tour of duty years ago.

I will reiterate what Tuthmosis says about the guys fighting. They throw quick, and I mean quick punches. None of that suburban stuff of talking back and forth and maybe a push before it escalates. You say something and "Crack!". Leaking the red stuff.

There is a great movie that captures the real LA called "Harsh Times" with Christian Bale. It is pretty damn accurate.

Side note: A good friend of mine had a significant part in that movie, but that is neither here nor there.

I will also say that Swag is key with picking up these girls. They have to know you are "down". No weakness.

And it starts from the jump when they say, "Where you stay at?"

These girls can be sexy as hell. I would say though that this is real advanced territory and if you are some white cat from suburbia from another state, watch out. They will see through you from across the street.

These days as far as the Southern California metroplex latinas I prefer the high class girls from Tijuana. Hard to get a good line on although I have made some legendary swoops.

I have never been able to develop a good methodology for swooping those girls though.

The down home latino clubs in LA definitely aren't as friendly as the newer ones that have been sprouting out in the sunbelt states in North Carolina and Georgia. The latino culture in LA is much more "entrenched" and established with many local gangs and toughs hitting the scene in spots in East LA and South LA. I really wouldn't recommend it. I stick to the high end educated Meixcan Girls and there is plenty of them in LA to go around where I don't have to deal with the barrio girls and their sheisty cousins tripping when I'm swooping.

One thing I'll add, directed also at InternationalSwag is that you have to find the right balance between straight-up GHETTO (and, by extension, dangerous) spots and simply Latin or FOB-type spots. I avoid the trendier Latino spots popping up everywhere because: 1. everything's way over-priced; 2. the girls think they're hot shit; 3. higher Latino douchebag factor (bottle service, Affliction T-shirts, faux-hawk, pointy shoes); 4. the bouncer- and long-line-outside factor.

I haven't worked the South-of-the-border Tijuana angle (I'm a proud domestic-player-with-passport, though I've hit up several countries). But judging from some buddies that used to go back and forth from there and Baja, it seems you need a high Mexican-culture IQ. Muscles and gringos are also popular.

G, this one's for you. Finally, a post I can relate to. I've lived in both SD and the Imperial Valley (on the border with Mexicali). My job after college was working with manufacturing plants in the states moving their ops to a "twin-plant" across the border, so I have a little bit of insight to the border party scene.

The way it works in a place like Mexicali (clean version of TJ, cleaner clubs, dress code enforced, etc.) and TJ is pure social circle game. You need to get an in just like others have said on threads from Colombia. Higher class Mexican chicks (called Fresas) only run with their crews and do not compromise the integrity of the group by letting a "random" hit on one of theirs. Usually they run with a couple of chick friends and a few betas who generally buy the drinks. They only hang out at the higher end clubs or small indie out of the way clubs. They play the same freaking music over and over in those clubs and these people sing the same songs and dance the same way...over and over. It never changes. I've been clubbing down there since '98 as an 18 year old kid and its still the same...literally. Just now, the chicks I used to see and bang as a kid are married (to the betas) and have kids, but still party, get drunk and do cocaine. Go figure.

Same rules as Colombia apply: roll with a couple hot (7 or above is sufficient) friendly spanish speaking chicks and introduce to the betas. You are now officially inducted into the social circle. The will betas will buy you drinks all night, if you want. They like to flex their balls when they're hanging around fresh meat that seems to be into them. Now that you have DHV and have social proof, its over. Generally, which chick you will end up with will depend on how good looking you are or your clothing brand, i.e., if you are a good looking dude or wear expensive european brands, you will end up with the prettiest chick. General "conversational" or "escalation" game does not apply here, strictly superficial. She "approves" of you and after a few dates, the pussy is yours. Longest it ever took me was 3 dates. They are EXTREMELY horny. Can't get enough.

Word of warning...these social groups are extremely tight. They usually have gone to the same school since they were 5 and know each others families like they were their own. Once you bang one, you won't be able to bang another in the group, unless the other chick is kind of "known" as a slut. Social reputation is huge.

I've dated about a dozen of these fresas ranging from dark curvy Eva Mendes types to tall light skinned green eyed model looking types. They're all the same...prob the same as Colombian chicks from what I'm reading. Insanely jealous and highly controlling once they give up the pussy. I can't stand them for more than a month. But they are EXTREMELY fun for that month. They will treat you like a KING and so will their family for that matter. Its been awhile for me though. My last ex from down there I had back in 2008. Been focusing on myself and getting to world travel the last few years. But if anyone is from the SoCal area, I'd be glad to accompany down for a TJ or Mexicali run if you need a vet or wing.

I have definitely cracked rich TJ girls Roso and Ensenada (I have been going to Norte Baja for 20 years, and had a place down there when I was 19-23 or 24), in quick fashion, however I have never found an "easy" system for swooping these girls.

Believe it or not G, what Tuthmosis said about Latinas and mall game applies to these Fresas. If you are ever in the SD area, check out Fashion Valley Mall, the outlets by the border, the Mall in Bonita or the new mall over in Otay Mesa off the 125 (I forgot the name) during Sat or Sun. Literally 75% of the shoppers are speaking spanish, many of whom are Fresas alone or with their parents.

My approach (remember I was a kid) was simply saying that I recognized them from the "most popular club of the month" in Mexicali or TJ saying the owner or DJ introduced us. Instant social proof and DHV. They almost NEVER say that they don't know you, because that would be admitting they couldn't get in or afford those clubs. Its an easy way to build social status and a party network down south. Its the only way I've been able to crack them outside of social circle game.

You mentioned being short on time, but for anyone else, build this for a month, and you will have VIP anywhere in Baja Norte, plus access to the higher class social circle that lives in SD on papi's dime (hence down to be a FB since "no one is watching").

Much appreciated for this. I've only had a couple Latina pulls in L.A. and they were flukes, and I've always wondered what my options were for intentionally pulling these girls. Was considering resorting to going to every Argentinian/Brazilian/Colombian restaurant in town and just hitting on the servers.

I will say I went to the salsa night at Zanzibar's in Santa Monica a while back. I can't salsa worth shit so I was in wallflower mode, but goddamn there was some serious talent there, and a great ratio. Maybe one or two gringas in the entire crowd. Some salsa lessons are definitely called for.

Any solid venues you know of in those areas? I know exactly where you're talking about and you're damn straight that I wouldn't go there unless I was ready for some confrontational situations.

This has been a very informative thread, confirmed some suspicions I had about rolling up to east LA clubs maybe not being the safest idea. I'm probably back in L.A. if disaster ever strikes and all my money disappears, so this is good stuff to keep in mind.

As far as my own experience, I remember the Conga Room on Wilshire being a grand ol' time. Did they move that place downtown? There was a live salsa band and a separate reggaeton room there, a lil expensive, but a great night out. I gotta do some more exploring when I get back to Cali.

The Conga Room has been gone from Wilshire for a few years now. I had a fair share of good times at that place myself, including pulling a couple of nice prospects that I eventually converted into "sales." One of them became a long-term FB. That place, during its golden age, was something else. My success rate there was through the roof.

Its replacement downtown is a fancy, "bottle-service" style club downtown--if you know what I mean. It may have the same name, but that's where the similarities end. For one, it's even more expensive than before. The parking alone is going to anger your wallet. After that, you're going to deal with the typical "high-end" club bullshit, including: dumb bitches, bouncers, and a serious cover charge. Not recommended.

I went out last night and met some Mexican girls that are from Mexico and only have been living in the U.S. for a few years. I noticed they are a lot different than the Americanized Mexican girls. Totally true. A recently arrived middle/upper class Mexican girl is a world of difference from one born here. Much more feminine. American-born Latinas can be just as prone to losing their femininity as a regular American white girl. I chuckled when you said that "ay fool" thing. I fucking hate Latinas that talk like that. Shit sounds so ignorant and is such a turnoff. The fresh off the bus Mexican women from the lower classes, forget it. They look like illegal aliens are usually fat and nasty and often really indigenous looking. I think the states of Nuevo Leon and Jalisco are the heavy hitters for girls from Mexico.

If you like "castizas"(75% caucasian) or "criollas"(90% caucasian) the states are(in order):
Sonora
Jalisco/Nuevo León
Chihuahua(DANGEROUS right now)
Coahuila
Mexico DF(HUGE)

If you like mestizas(50-50) go to whatever state you want.
If you like indigenous, mayans, aztecs or stuff like that go to Chiapas, Oaxaca, Puebla, Guerrero(DANGEROUS right now)

Obviously the higher class mirrreynas fresas are much more caucasian and social circle game than the others.

Yeah, you need to know Mexico really well to know that Sonora has the best meat, both women and cow.

Very Horny chicas, one of the only states where there's not a lot of disparity between the lower and higher classes. Very humid weather so everyone says that hot and humid make every girl horny. One of the few states with black ancestry along with Guerrero and Oaxaca so it's common to find more "hard" features and big asses.

Is she from Xalapa(Jalapa) or Puerto de Veracruz?

I am familiar with Quiet Cannon, but only second-generation. A close (older) homie of mine used to hit that spot regularly, several years ago. I know he mined some steady, serious hoochie-Latina tail from there back then, even with his tacky, cornball game.

This is something I've had to work out for myself after I realized I had a crazy latina fetish in middle school.

I'm white (german-irish mixed with scottish) with red hair. I grew up with blacks and mexicans in a poor/blue collar part of Michigan. I was always after the thick black girls and pretty mexican girls. But my looks and my analytical (i.e. nerdy) personality made me somewhat of a foreigner to the girls I wanted.

The swag thing is crucial, but what's interesting is that as I've gotten older (I'm 30 now), I actually drop all swag, all charisma, all effort, all toughness.

It's like a curveball to these girls. The key is that underlying all of it there's an unshakeable core of confidence and self esteem. But I'm actually quiet, self-effacing, and emotionally vulnerable, RIGHT OFF THE BAT.

My results are bananas. however, I do get tested from girls who are a little more on the ghetto side, but I have experience with that so I just check 'em real fast with a smirk and move forward.

Also, I never worry about other latin dudes. not because I think I'm tough - in fact the opposite. I'm realizing more and more my mortality as injuries take longer to heal, and my hangovers hit harder. Latino dudes are cool - they are easy to befriend and get along with, and usually won't cockblock you. The KEY is to be respectful. It all comes down to respect. As long as you are respectful, you're good (I've actually had a ton of latino dudes say that exact phrase as I tried to talk to their sister/friend/mom - yes, mom.)

I stopped at this place today on my way from Vegas back to San Diego. Holy shit I have not seen so many sexy mexican girls in one mall in my entire life! I kid you not, I didn't see any white girls! No blondes, all latina brunettes (mostly mexican). I couldn't walk 5 seconds without seeing at least an 8.
