No wonder she is a professor, there is no way this moron could exist in the real world

Her theories make sense, are clever, and leave me pondering.

On the other hand, her conclusion is obviously wrong. I find it hard to believe that men want more freedom because society(or collective identity) made them want more freedom...

I also think its not very open minded to censor other peoples opinions especially when you cant prove them wrong. That said, the 3.5k word essay was a horrible waste of time/effort.

"Professor" in quotes. Her specialty is literary history in a small part of medieval Spain. No offense, but that is really not a heavy topic and more a case of anyone could do it - if they actually wanted to. It certainly doesn't make her an expert on anything related to evolutionary psychology or biology.

A lot of women in academia are kind of like her. They are good at parroting things, using flowery vocabulary, and regurgitating material by more creative people while failing to critically analyze their own conclusions or behavior. Even if you disagree with them you'll get shouted down by the usual beta (white knight) conscious student body or a university bureaucracy that is scared shitless of being branded "intolerant" to women.

So this means women don't get challenged very much in academia since a lot of male professors (especially in humanities) are beta to the core. So women tend to climb the higher academic ladder thinking they are right even if they are wrong most of the time because few people are around to tell them they are full of shit.

There are exceptions to this of course..it's much harder for a woman to pull this sort of gender card in engineering or the hard sciences but it's been known to happen there too.
