So I came down for short trip to Colombia, mostly to visit pitt and get alittle intel on the scene here. I have spent extensive time in DR and honestly thought it was time to move on. I spent a coupledays in Bogota and a couple in Cali. Unfortunaly I showed up during holy week.(the week of easter). This place is so dead its crazy. So my view is a bit subjective. I am going out tonight and will update if any opinion changes.


Now the primary interest in coming was to see the black girls/mulattas. Man there is a resounding disappointment in the blacks of this country. Now this is a double edge sword. why?

Well, both pit and I could pass as locals. BUT, everything about us even while dressed down and with our mouths shut communicated higher status. We were constantly eye fucked by girls. THe interesting thing is young girls 18-20 overtly seem to be the most interested. THey give very direct IOI. The older girls seem to be looking for a older man. I think its only because they date up in age normally here. So what worked to our advantage was the fact that, they only see there blacks who are ridiculously, disadvantaged and quite unattractive. IMO

I ended up hooking up with a white Colombian a 7...which is cool I guess, but it was really disappointing to not even see a mildly attractive black girl here.

But again, everyone seems to have been locked away in the house this week. Nothing was open.

Now, I had full intentions of coming to write you guys that Colombian girls are way overated. But last night jut before I came home the stunners started to leak out. And I mean man were there some asses. But not in the volume I expectedd #1, and #2 they were 99.9% of the time with a guy or family.

Colombian women always have a guy. It appears to me they are better at holding relationships than Dominican girls.

Colombian women are more approachable,(surprisingly) than Dominican women during street approaches. There were times when ali and I got the complete cold shoulder in street approaches(in (Santo Domingo) as if we had a scam going or something. Same happened to me and pitt before, but they would get scared as if we were gonna rob them. This is Santo Domingo.

Here, in Colombia every girl will stop and talk to you with a smile. Very very few just straight up didn't. They also have manner
here unlike there Dominican counterpart.

Asses....Dominican girls asses are on average an 8.5, Colombians on average a 7. MAny have been fixedup which is fine for me, but naturally Dominicans win that category by FAAAAR!

Racism: I have heard that there is bad racism here in Colombia. I hadnt experienced any. As a matter of fact many girls were interested to see blacks that our doing well. They were mostly non-black girls though.
But to paint a good illustration to everyone. Black Colombians are to Colombia as to Hatians are to DR(in DR). Being any other type black

Also, where the hell do people get the statistics that cali is 60% black. That's Nutty. Its maybe 15% maaaybe. Bogota, there aren't many blacks at all. So I do not recommend coming for the black girls here. But if you like whiter more euro decent youll have a lot of chances.

SAftey: To say that this place is more dangerous than DR is laughable. Its more dangerous if ur in the drug trade,just like LA if you wanna gangbang hard. But this city and country is waaaay nicer, more developed and the people more educated. Also, I don't think the guys here approach girls. Because people seemto be very surprised, when a guy approaches a random girl. Versus DR, guys approach all the time. So this makes Colombian girlsmore receptive. much much more. Also we walked arounf in many places at night and seem to be the most dangerous thing on the street. lol
I would never ever, show my iPhone in DR at night, someone would roll up un you immediately. I also made it a point to go to one of the worse parts of bogota. I just wanted to see the hood girls. Now,you will know these spots are dangerous, because its fucking obvious. Unlike DR, where I don't think there are safe places, personally. For safety, Colombia is much safer and developed, hands down!!!

I would give Dominican girls the edge on average...personally. Though im not really even interested in them anymore.

Colombia is more livable, girls are good, but I think over rated.
They also arent as desperate as domincans. Both girls went out with tried to pay for things and argued about not paying. However they both were middle class, so that could be a part of it. I spend only 48 hours in each city, so a long timer will have more insight. Which will be great if they comment and give more in-depth analysis.

Good info, thanks for the comparisons. Its good to hear that Colombia being super dangerous is over hyped. You can find sketchy areas in any highly developed city in any country.

From what I have seen being on LatinAmericanCupid for a month is that Colombian women do it for me. All the hottest girls with my preferred look have been from Colombia and theres a ton of them. LatinAmericanCupid has also informed me that girls from the DR love me. I get way more interest, likes, and emails from girls from the DR.

I feel like you should have put this in travel not lifestyle.

(I'm currently staying in Washington Heights NYC and theres lots of fly light skinned girls of Dominican decent around)

OK, guys... this forum has done so much for me...
I have a very well paying job.
I have dodge potientially life ending relationships.
I have found a new me... through you guys. So I wanna start with my apologies, DESPITE hating to admit it.
I judged way to fast. I really tried not to. But the disappointment of empty streets and mediocre girls was to much to bear in a place I dreamed about.
The truth is.... I was completely wrong in my initil assessment. The girls here have fucking ass. But I guess everyone has been hiding in church or the house. Tonight was awesome. Today was awesome.

Me and pitt dressed up GQ style and went put. I have never been eye fucked ect like that in my life. I mean by 8s and up!!! We went to the mall, GQ and it was nutz. Like really nutz. But these girls will show IOIs In front of husbands and novios or whatever.... I don't think ive been treated like that before anywhere honestly. I think part of it is seeing good looking well to do blacks(the local black here are very very low socially) and is very intriguing for them. But, the combination of people actually leaving the house, us being GQ, and the quality of girls I saw....(approachable girls btw) completely disapproved many things I said. THe black girls here do suck.... period.
But the whiter and indian color girls, have asses that pound for pound may beat dr or give it a run for the money. THe thing is....
Dominicans dont have as much infastucture, and are much less busy, in general. So in the street you will see more girls, just bouncing around. But here, its an emerging market, and they do actually have lives. Which makes the approach harder, because they are so often occupied with family or the guy they are looking to cheat on... hint hint.

but im tired and have to catch a flight in 3 hours. More to come. But I am very sorry...I should have said anything until I had a normal day and night in society in Cali.

Colombia really sounds like an awesome place to go visit. Sigh. Or Venezuela for that matter (I have a fondness for Chavez and Maduro).

I had the opportunity to ask out a *stunningly* beautiful, 18/19 year old Colombian (she turned 19 that summer) a few summers ago. She was an undergrad intern at the research station where I was a graduate student (I was 30, then). We got along decently well, and she was super attractive- clothing, face, figure, perfume, everything. Turns out we had a lot of common interests too, including Latin American politics. Unfortunately, I still hadn't quite freed myself from the influence of ridiculous cultural-liberal garbage like Hugo Schwyzer (I think that was the summer when Schwyzer was waxing eloquent about the evils of age differences), and the age-difference made me feel too ashamed to ask her out. By the time I worked up the courage to ask her out, she'd started dating someone, and two weeks later she went back to Colombia. That cured me forever of the error of listening to the Jezebel types about their dating advice.

We still chat on FB, and she has a standing invitation to me to come down to Colombia (she lives in Cali) and she can show me around. I have plausible work reasons to go to Cali, too (I'm a plant biology researcher, and there is a famous ag research station near Cali). I've heard the women there are amazing, and maybe 'Teresa' could hook me up with some of her single friends. (For what it's worth, I'm 33 now, but women in clubs who guess my age usually say 24; I'm also smaller than average, though thin-to-muscular build, and brown [Indian] so I've been told I could maybe do better in Latin America). I'm increasingly thinking I should take Teresa up on her offer one of these days.

If woman actually think you are 24 at 33 you are golden. You can extend your timeframe of being eligible in young attractive female eyes much longer than otherwise. Hot girls in Cuba for example (that aren't hookers) would commonly date a guy in his late 30's early 40's. That seems to be common throughout Latin America / Caribbean. You probably can go on just fine until 50s if you keep at it. Most of the foreign expats I know lie about there ages. Especially the really old guys.

One of my buddies has been 38 ever since I met him. I met him 2.5 years ago. Maybe he was born on a leap year?
Another claims 57. To me its obvious hes mid 70s but hey whats it matter the girls there believe it and the 30 year old chicks seem more willing to consider him than otherwise.

My other buddy is late 70's his girlfriend is mid 20's and a solid 7. (this guy looks about 20 years younger)

Take advantage of looking younger and ignore age gaps. Not that at your age there is any reason to lie.

You don't need to. In fact at your age I'd tell the truth as it should be a benefit not a negative. But once you get into your 40's, 50's it may be beneficial to lie down.

Yeah man never been to Cali, but Medellin didn't have that many blacks. All the black chicks in Colombia are by the coast, Cartagena. From the 3 days I was in Cartagena, Costeña chicks seemed pretty cute, but I was only there for a few days, I'd know better if I stayed longer.

O.P. when I spent 6 weeks in Colombia the best looking black girls I saw were in the old town part of Cartagena. I saw a decent number of black girls there that I would consider 8+. But unfortunately Cartagena girls seemed to have high bitch shields. The ugliest black girls I saw were in Santa Marta.
