I met this girl a week ago and I don't know how any of the following happened. I was hoping somebody could explain this to me.

So I'm coming out of the underground and I see a female friend of mine with another female. I turn around and ask "Are you stalking me?" (Open). They both laugh and I get to vibbing. The female friend and I start talking about breakfast and I tell her I have 5 eggs for breakfast, she says that's too much, so I put my face 1 inch away from hers, stare into her eyes and in an old-spice-commercial-guy voice, I say "no man can have too many eggs". I get her name she tells me to add her on fb. The following week I message her and she invites me to a party. I show up and within 45 mins of arriving I'm leaving with her to my place.

I have absolutely no idea how this happened. I thought I shot myself in the foot numerous times. If someone can explain that would be great.

If you want to and she's worth keeping around, just don't pull anymore needy stuff i.e. the "falling for you" comment. It's understandable, in the heat of the moment that's how you felt, but that's when you've got to be careful, switch that filter on in your head.
