Patton Oswalt expressed his disbelief that Salon actually published a piece critical of those who are attempting to incite outrage over this. It started a Twitter fight that includes several Salon writers and Anil Dash.

Whenever MSM or Gawker writers are accused of something their first instinct is to insult the work you've done. They did it with Roosh and now Patton.

"I might be a lying sack of shit, but you acted in a movie that wasn't funny once!" Good job deflecting there, buddy. This is why no one trusts or likes journalists.

Interesting the way morality changes.

Years ago, you could make fun of race, but a topless pic would ruin a woman's career. Now the reverse is true.

But just in case society changes again, I present to you the tits of one of the Salon writers involved in the Twitter battle, Mary Elizabeth Williams (second from left). She did this "liberated" nude spread for the New York hipster crowd some years ago and probably thought it would be forgotten. And bet she'd be mortified if it wound up in these parts in front of the "wrong" people. Enjoy!

From what I understand, the outrage is from the Tweet opposed to the televised airing. People read the tweet without seeing the quote in context and got fired up. Typical left wingers at work. I think the whole issue is hilarious because it completely points out how people on opposing poles just act before they thing or research.

These Twitter shitstorms used to be a pain for the people involved, but I guess it's becoming a badge of honor.

I haven't heard anyone on #HasJustineLandedYet or Geoffrey Miller (or Tuth!) lately.

It's all so silly.

The dumb cunt who started the Twitrage is the same one that started the #NotYourAsianSidekick dumbassery a while back

Here is she being a bigger cunt today on HuffPo live.

The host dude totally owns her in the end. Naturally she goes and complains on twitter, where fellow SJWs and white knights are trying to rip him a new one.

For all of you who harbor slight resentment against us types that have discrepancies with affirmative action, please see the link above.

This girl is marketed as a "graduate school dropout" on xojane, but managed to grab a keynote speaker position at some speech at Purdue. At first I thought this girl was hopelessly dumb, but she, but she may in actuality be deviously smart. A "feminist" exploiting feminism.

trigger warning:

-unbearably obvious skating of points replaced by emotional appeal
-self imploding argument that somehow manages to defeat itself before the 3'rd question is asked.
-blatant misrepresentation of the term "loaded question". call the ADL
-alienating the counterview by insulting them on their own show, when you're a guest.

Suey Park has an undergraduate degree in psychology and was on the path to a graduate degree in student affairs in higher education.
I think she found the jackpot to playing everyone and being the true winner

The philosopher Nietzsche spoke of an "Eternal Recurrence". It was the idea that we were doomed to repeat the events in the universe's history over and over again.

Judge for yourself.

Step 1: Angry, neurotic Korean-American girl "Suey" Park reads something she doesn't like on the internet. Working herself into a (sexually satisfying) frenzy, she drums up a campaign of fake outrage to convince other bored, listless losers to be outraged and angry along with her. She feels empowered by hurling accusations at people, reveling in the attention, just as the young female Salem witchcraft accusers felt empowered. Idea gains traction using Twitter hashtags.

Step 2. Angry, neurotic Filipino-American Michelle Malkin seizes upon the opportunity to score points against the perceived "liberal" bugbears she sees hiding under every couch. Her army of bored, uneducated, listless drones who want their hate-boners stroked (phrase stolen from Matt Forney) also work themselves into a frenzy.

Step 3. Chickenshit media outlet, not understanding what's happening, stammers helplessly about being more "sensitive" to everyone. Throws Colbert under the bus, who himself can't even figure out what all the fake outrage is about. Conservative organizations jump in to score points against fake "liberals." Meaningless back-and-forth of intellectual masturbation follows about race, class, sexism, dialogue, and gender.

Step 4. Rinse and repeat.

Now we know why poor Nietzsche was nearly driven insane by the idea of the Eternal Recurrence.

I probably should add a Step 5 to the above. Step 5 is: bewildered guy in internet forum wastes 10 minutes of his life typing random thoughts on all this bullshit. He'll never regain that 10 minutes.

Unless he waits for the universe to repeat itself, maybe, and hope he's a little wiser.

If it weren't for Suey Park's incessant need to be outraged at anything that ever offended her on Twitter, I might never have discovered the manosphere.

So for that, I say "thank you, you screeching shrew of a cunt".

It can be good, but sometimes it goes too far.

You can't be serious. You must have missed the entire 2012 Republican Presidential race -- and the ongoing conflict between Tea Party and establishment Republican candidates (e.g., Rand Paul versus Chris Christie).

But you can do this for lots of groups. Observe:

On a long enough timeline, every conservative will be denounced by one of their own. There's no loyalty or reason, just a rush to prove who is the real conservative. What a crappy club to be in.

James Madison committed genocide? Is she talking about manifest destiny? If manifest destiny never happened, there wouldn't have been an American California for her parents to immigrate to. It scares me to think what would happen if more people wrote off the constitution lke this, using "People's History of the United States" type rhetoric.

I love it when Asian Americans try and identify with "marginalized minorities".

She does realize that asians take up a radically disproportionate percentage of the UC system right? If they were being discriminated against, you think think they wouldn't be half of the student body...

Oh yeah, Asians also have a very high average income per household.

She can't take a joke, literally.

What a dumb bitch.

Thanks for the head's up, I missed all that drama so went back and read through it. Was curious to see how our good friend Anal Rash entered the fray, and I was not disappointed. I think a stiff gust of wind could knock him out.

Whether by design or coincidence, Oswalt nailed it perfectly - complimenting and associating him with a (perceived) racist, just like he is

Yeah, but Asian Americans have a very high average income per household for a reason. They work and study hard to the extent of it being stereotypical, it's in their subculture as a collective. Most engineering programs in universities would collapse without them, and that's where the majority of them are enrolled, as well as STEM and business to a lesser degree.

Are they supposed to just go on welfare instead of starting up businesses instead of having a work ethic and start killing each other? Would that give them political correctness immunity in your view?

If she feels oppressed by living in a country founded by slave-owning white men, maybe she should move back to her ancestral homeland.

Another example of the unsustainability of multiculturalism. She surely has no issue with the vast amount of wealth and the tremendously advantaged lifestyle that the labors of white men past and present have afforded her, and yet she still harbors a stinging hatred and resentment for them.

Not Asian Americans. Chinese and Japanese Americans. There is a huge difference between those two groups and other immigrants from SEA.
