"I really don't think that you're all that interested in me..."

I get this from time to time. Sometimes I really am not all that interested (the chick has been FWB-zoned, but her "female intuition" is dead on the money), and other times I actually am interested, but my lack of any outward display of clingyness is mistakenly perceived as a lack of interest (I call it "playing it cool").

Any suggestions as to how to turn this around other than just nexting the chick in question or having to feign beta needyness?

"I am, but work is busy. You know how you can help me out? Can you make dinner or get some groceries? I'm just no good at the kind of thing."

According to Ben Franklin, people feel closer to other people who ask for favors, so go all BenFrank on her and you do both yourselves a favor (source).

DoBA has the right of it.

Give her a task, and the task makes her further indebted to you - because she's expecting to be repaid in kind.

But also consider the natural life cycle of the FWB relationship, it may be time to cut her loose.

I got this recently from a girl I took offline from Tinder. After me asking to meet for drinks, she said this to me. Would like to know what you guys would have done, but I just felt she was attention whore and not worth it...
