Racism in Poland

First of all, are we talking about sex tourists or "love tourists"? As for the job opportunities for foreigners, I think Wroclaw may be an exception since there are many IT, banking and telecommunication companies hiring people from all over the world (including many spaniards). Personally I haven't encountered any cockblocking from Polish guys, I find that although the male-female ratio might suck in a club, 70% of the girls are Polish and 70% of the dudes are foreign i.e very few Polish dudes go to international parties. I would even go as far to say that many girls go to the international parties looking for some foreign dick (they are usually 6s and 7s).

Also check out this article, I think Roosh shared it some time ago in his twitter: Polish Defence League Patrolling Nightclubs

Basically it's a bunch of skinheads that go around clubs trying to cockblock foreigners, specially muslim ones. I have never seen them myself though.

What pisses me off about stuff like this is that you know these same guys would have no problem with Polish guys approaching foreign women. Nationalism usually amounts to little more than our guys can fuck whatever foreign women they want, but don't you even think of touching ours.

This is interesting: http://www.tradingeconomics.com/poland/i...-data.html

So the foreign born population in Poland is 2.17%. Meaning Poland is about 98% Polish. So I guess that's what it means to be "flooded" with foreigners. Hell, before Bang Poland it was probably 99% Polish. [Image: lol.gif]

That's just what I thought.

That statistic only counts those who registered in some way with the Polish government (i.e. applied for a residency permit). For example, I'm not a part of that statistic because I'm a tourist.

well who wouldn't be mad at his city getting literally flooded with foreigners

Wroclaw isn't even my city and I'm mad it's flooded with foreigners. [Image: lol.gif] There is a tipping point of foreigners that once you pass it, meeting women becomes harder for everyone (foreigners and locals).

Personally, I like Spanish guys (I get along well with them) and enjoyed Luisaceo's company the couple times we hung out, but when there are hundreds of them in the city, no me gusta. Even Spanish guys complain here that there are too many Spanish guys.

What the language situation like between the Spanish and Polish, is everyone compromising with English? Broken Polish/Spanish? If a Spanish guy spoke Polish to a thug, would the thug short circuit?

I think, unless every country becomes a faceless replica of the US, factoring in language, culture and history will make or break travel game in the future. When the thirsty hordes realize that booking ryanair won't be enough, they may think twice.

I get that when trying to hook chicks you need to show some value, etc.

I also get that when in packs, people get a bit more "brave" than when alone.

But I have always found respecting people gets you far.

If you are out on the town, in a drunken state, and grabbing some guys' girl or anything else that seems over the top, well you deserve to get your face beat, sorry.

Be in control and remember there is plenty of vagina.

Personally I've learned some Polish over the past months to the point where I can almost mantain short basic conversations on very casual topics. I find that Polish might be a bit of a bonus since girls tend to be very surprised, foreigners don't usually bother with the language and specially not Spaniards (who often don't even speak good English). That being said, 99% of the time I talk with girls in English (they all speak it quite well) although it's not rare to find Polish girls that are learning Spanish (suggesting a Spanish-Polish language tandem is a no brainer for banging a local girl here) [Image: banana.gif]

I was once with some Polish girls and a short, drunk Polish "thug" came to us and started talking to the girls. I stepped in and he asked me where I was from (not in a friendly way). I replied "I am Spanish, you've got a problem?" (In Polish) and he did seem baffled. He said something else, did a threatening gesture and left.

And yeah, there are certainly too many Spanish guys here. I think that if a female student has spent more than 2 years here, its almost certain she has tried foreign dick at some point, specially if she is average looking. On the good side, most Spaniards prefer to waste their time gaming other Erasmus girls within their social circle and when they do cold approaches they have shit game and often bad English.

I find this thread funny because I have only heard about Wroclaw through this forum. Obviously the word is out among Spanish guys that Poland is good hunting ground.
The local men can't compete with foreign dudes who are coming with more money and status. I guess the local dudes are trying to protect their women, which in a sense you cannot blame them.

I was wondering how the migration of poles to the UK has affected the polish community. I myself met quite a few girls who weren't interested in returning to Poland anytime soon.

I really don't think it's a matter of money and status since many of the foreign guys here are exchange students. I think that despite the whole foreign guy craze might be getting old, average looking Polish girls still find it appealing. There is a popular Polish rap song about the whole Spanish/foreign love tourism in Poland: (the song means "exotic adventure", you don't need to understand the lyrics to know what is going on [Image: icon_razz.gif])

Not sure if it is relevant, but Spanish girls find Polish men ugly and unattractive.

Why you even care about some idiots-pseudo racist ?

Why no one has ever mentioned racists like French, Americans, English ?

Racism is not only about white-black case, what about the other ways of racist which happens more frequently in those ''western'' countries ?

Funny when f.e black, english guy is complaining about rasism in Poland while in Great Britain he's allowed to say some really rude and racist things about Polish.

and about Polish guys# I've been told many times how amazed they are when they see men in UK&Sweden wearing t-shirts with bigger decolts than girls, simply gay style aka geordie shore or other shit + those stereotypes about some Spanish girls who doesn't like blabla, it's a pity when you hear something like this while you actually know a dozens of polish guys who were in Spain and fucked those ''unaproachable'' girls. Remember that polish guys are not in the same situation as English dudes etc. they don't need to leave their country to see beauties in every corner, who the fuck cares about some western girls fancying someone while Central&EE Europe girls likes you.

^ Racism is racism no matter where you go!

As a Brit, I have never heard any black person say anything rude or racist towards a Pole. Saying the Poles are taking over might seem rude to you though.

I really couldn't care less about people who make racist jokes or have prejudices against foreigners (we also have that in Spain). What has surprised me in Poland is the unjustified violence against some of my darker-skinned friends.

Ye, but no one makes threads or talk about something like this, it's acceptable in western sociality. Imagine a guy who've heard some stories about racist people in the western europe, he simply says some bullshits as a revenge.
I guess it's not a big problem when you're actually black, when your skin is dark and you look like an arab, there might be a problem because arabs are belived as a plague who comes to the western countries like England, Germany or Sweden and do shitty things. Just stereotypes.

This thread is enlightening. I was under the mistaken impression that the whole skinhead ultra-nationalist thing was more in Russia and Ukraine and the Baltics. I thought Poland was more relaxed in its attitudes.

You were not mistaken, some individual cases doesnt change the majority.

How could you change your opinion by reading some posts on forum [Image: huh.gif]

Thread like this can be made about almost every country, racist things happen in Russia with the same frequency as in GB, Germany etc.

@Booyah - I don't know what you are trying to say.

I grew up in England in 70s, getting into fights because of my skin colour was normal. My neighbour was a leader of the National Front ( BNP ) which ran on the platform of sending blacks back to Africa/Caribbean. I recall a flyer coming in the mail with a picture of a gorilla on it, below it said " would you want your son/ daughter marrying this".
I actually played a football match out of town once and the opposing supporters booed every time I touched the ball, my coach was yelling at me on the other sideline oblivious to what was going on. I was 11 years old.
Despite all that and much more, I love England and look forward to moving back someday. If someone dislikes me for my skin colour they won't be fake about, the flip side is I have friends of different cultures that would go to war with me.

I dated a Hungarian girl and had the pleasure of visiting Budapest a few times, all I can say the people rolled out the red carpet for me and blew me away with their hospitality.

Before that I dated a Czech gal who lived in a small town and I had no problems except the local men giving me sour faces. Well the only problem I had was with the police when I travelled across the border into Germany, they would always stop me thinking I was trying to smuggle into the country.

I can go on, but please feel free to tell me your racist stories....[Image: smile.gif]

Im trying to say that it's quite funny when guys from western countries are complaining on forum about some countries being racist while they live in countries which are considered as a 'liberal' ones but hey, racism in England is still socially respected. Maybe not in an old hat way but have you seen the titles of newspapers or have you heard this liberal english what they're saying f.e about Romanians coming to they country ? this is pure racism.

Don't know why you've posted your story here because i wasn't asked for one, you just proved my point.

All im saying is you don't need to offense anyone about his skin colour to be racist, there are many other ways of it.

and ye, come to central Europe, expecting that everyone will love you or you're better than them just because you're foreign, saw it a lot of times when this 'erasmus' guys where acting as a pro ones, thinking they can say whatever they what with no consequences. Happened to me both in Portugal and Poland and many more.

I've never really felt racism, certainly felt xenophobia due to being stereotyped, but that usually goes both ways and people are much more polite to you, even if it is superficial. I'd rather be spoken to and treated more frankly, so I could know what people actually think.

The only way to quickly avoid racism in any country is to learn the language and get some local friends. That's the same anywhere. Be respectful, friendly, learn the language, spend some money on local business if you can. Be a overall positive addition to a country and not just a taker.

I was going to report the OP for starting yet another race trolling post, but then Roosh weighed in and said he hanged out with the guy.

To the OP, avoid the bad areas of town. This advice apply to any city in the world, not just to Poland. You're an exchange student and a guest in their country. Be polite and don't cry wolf (or racism) at the drop of a hat.

I'm a light skinned Asian guy. I have never had any problems with racism traveling around Europe (including Poland). I do get stared at occasionally, but that's ok with me. I like the feeling of being exotic in the smaller European cities. I have come across people who are rude. But instead of crying racism, I dismiss those incidents as outbursts from the uneducated working class.

Having said all that, I have never and would not go to an economically depressed town in eastern German or Poland for example. That's just common sense. Many of my German co-workers (all from the West - I have never worked with a former East German) would not travel to those towns as well.

Voice of reason right there and it also helps to be honest enough with yourself to realize that there are legitimate reasons why the people of other countries are wary of you. It's best to remember that you are a guest and behave as such.

Personally I have witnessed more Turks and Arabs in Poland than Spanish.Maybe the former get confused with the latter due to similarities in appearance. There are lots of Germans and English who may pass as Poles if you don't pay attention. The usual competition in clubs are the well off Poles, the ones with connections and the pumped up Poles there are many of them. The only dangerous foreigners to steal girls from you are the Germans and the English. The rest is almost insignificant.Polish guys hit not only on polish women but on Ukrainian,Russian or whoever female happens to party in their clubs.

The aggression comes from dumb ass meatheads that have a hard time getting girls or want to escape life so they want to release their frustration. There's no better target for them than foreigners.

I've never seen normal cool well dressed guys cause any trouble with foreigners or any guys at all. It's always those loud, obnoxious, short haired, under dressed, football fans with moronic laughter style. Sometimes regular simpleminded regular not well groomed students in hoodies act this way too but they just want to show off for a second and are less aggressive in general.

What to do..

+ Don't engage with their "conversations". Ignore, leave, talk to girls, give them absolute minimum attention.

+ Don't draw attention to yourself in the streets at night when you approach girls then and there. Just don't be flashy or loud. When those fuckers notice your efforts they might try to save girls and that's when dance begins. I personally avoid street game at night cause that's super easy way to get in trouble. I remember walking down the street with Marco and he approached a girl who was walking toward us on the street around 11pm [solo, without friends], she stopped and talked to him, I walked few steps ahead to give them space, then some guy literally run up to him and pushed him hard without saying a word even though there was no touch, nothing. And the dude was just skinny little fucker. Welcome to the jungle [Image: amuse.gif]

+ Spend as little amount of time on the streets as possible. There are lots of drunk idiots around and confrontational guys who might start messing with you just because you look at them "wrong" way. I don't hang out on the street at night, I go straight to the club/bar and might chat up girls along the way when there are no troublesome guys in proximity.

+ Go to better clubs, with entrance cover and dress code. It's safe there. Nice people.

+ When you leave the club with the girl be very physical/protective so that it looks like it's done deal to everybody else around [arm around her, embracing each other]. Don't look around. Go straight to taxi cab or just leave club area asap.

I have never even been to the "bad areas" of Wroclaw , most of the incidents have been in the clubbing spots or close to the city center.

I don't mind the retards who are rude or have prejudices, cause they can simply be ignored. I am talking about unjustified violence against people of dark skin, so all that "be polite, you're a guest" is pure BS. If you have never stayed in Poland for a long time then maybe you really don't know what we are discussing here.

That being said, perhaps Poles have a more positive opinion of Asians.

This town is not economically depressed, as I've said before it is a student town with many multinational corporations.

They got nothing against Asians, black men etc. the problem is that south european guys looks familiar to Arabs and in Poland they got quite bad opinion about them, especially when it comes to women being approached by them or the way how they act.
