Going to Brazil

Going to Brazil

I'm visiting Brazil in April.

Rio and Sao Paulo. In both cities, what neighborhoods/areas should I get an apartment/hotel? Any specific recommendations? For logistics I'd like to stay in hotels that are near clubs/beaches, etc.

Other then just meeting/dating/hooking up with girls I'm just in Brazil for great photography from my world travels. (Into photography but not really the waterfalls) In Rio and Sao Paulo I'd like to know some good areas for photos to capture landscape. I know there is Sugar Loaf and the Christ statue in Rio.. but what I mean is what other areas/spots to catch great views. I imagine there are some great rooftop nightclubts.

For traveling from airport to cities which airport should I pick and which are best for transportation to the cities? I think Rio and Sau Paulo have public train/rail? I won't have a car. I'm just looking to fly to 3 cities in a 2 week span.

Also, what third city should I go to for enjoying/meeting women? Now I don't speak Portuguese... just English. I think I want to stick to southern Brazil, don't think I'd be interested in Northern Brazil. I'm mulling over Portre Algre and Floranopolis. Have heard Bello Horizonte is great for pickup though.

Have you tried using the search function yet?

In fairness to Rio though, it's a little trickier because some thread titles are named "Rio de Janeiro" while others are merely named "Rio."

Most recent Rio thread by Goodfella Good - http://www.rooshvforum.network/thread-33...#pid656889

Another thread by Maledefined - http://www.rooshvforum.network/thread-25...#pid476020

Other Rio results you can peruse through search - http://www.rooshvforum.network/search.ph...order=desc

Sao Paulo Results - http://www.rooshvforum.network/search.ph...order=desc

Florianopolis Thread - http://www.rooshvforum.network/thread-13...ml#pid9958

Another HC Floripa Insight Thread
- http://www.rooshvforum.network/thread-88...#pid130505

Floripa is about to be screwed now (empty) because Carnaval is ending. Floripa will be a ghost town without any tourists up until about Late December 2014.

There is currently no informative thread on Porto Alegre right now, but the places to be there are 1) Cidade Baixa and 2) Moinhos de Vento.

Your best bet with English only would likely be Rio or Sao Paulo though. Use the search function next time before starting a new thread asking new questions.

Btw, Floripa basically has very limited/no public transport. Porto Alegre would be the more walkable city. In terms of going to POA and trying to bang broads...it'll be extremely difficult without Portuguese. Still a nice pleasant place nevertheless (Was only there for 1.5 days and had a gal pipelined).

Ok Porto Alegre vs Belo Horizonte.... which would be better and why?

Its a little late to become fluent in portuguese but if I were you I would download rosetta stone off of pirate bay and practice it every night for 30 minutes. I would also pick up this book and read it for 15 minutes every night before bed, listen to the cd too: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1598692...UTF8&psc=1

If you know how to pronounce the words and numbers then you will be one step ahead. You will at least be able to pronounce the basics such as real, rue, etc, and use basic pick up lines like tudo bom.

Pipelining will help you immensely. I did it when I went to Rio and if nothing else it helps with the strange intricacies. Without her I would have been very lost on my first day. A lot of things there are very backward, such as paying your bill when you leave the bar.

Both places would be very difficult without Portuguese (very low English levels).

I would say Porto Alegre is more walkable between all the different neighborhoods whereas Belo Horizonte would be the more scenic city if you're looking to explore the mountains & nature.

Outside of Centro in Belo Horizonte..I'd say the women are pretty on par really in both cities.

My Belo Horizonte sheet - http://www.rooshvforum.network/thread-613-po...#pid470532

Bar scene wise..Porto Alegre might be better. Club wise...you can't go wrong with NaSala, Chalezinho, and there a new place called Cinco all in Belo Horizonte. Limited Portuguese will be a crusher in tier 2 cities though.

I would strongly recommend Manaus or Belem. Also Recife and Natal. This is a great city package to ensure you meet great girls. Anywhere you go in BR you need some portuguese so you should learn some basics.

I would recommend the North of Brazil too, if the OP actually spoke Portuguese.

Ditto the North. It is raw Brazil and not as spoiled as places like Rio.

Check out BH if you get a chance. It's a first tier city, but it's not quite as big as Rio and SP, and you will have a more exotic gringo factor there.

Although the cons of the city, is that it is entirely unwalkable. Literally one of the worst places in the world to walk, the city is based on mountainous terrain, takes 20 minutes to walk one kilometre sometimes. But besides the centro region, the city is beautiful.

I will be in Rio and Sao Paulo in the spring of 2015. If anyone wants to meet up, let me know.

Check out Pimp Game, Picking Up Strippers, The Fun Way!, Weaponized: Add Cold Reading to your arsenal! and Tarot Game.

Game isn’t what I use to get what I want out of women.
Game is what I use to get what I want out of life.
