What I have come to understand about game is, that it's not about women but the lifestyle one chooses to live. The women and everything else are just perks.

I have decided to write my own book and peddle it online. It isn't a game book but one about the current awakening movement. I'm going to start my own blog to promote it. Thank you to Roosh, Roissy, and others who have shown me that it can be done.

Why do this?

One: Day game is where I'm most comfortable and I can't do it setting in a cubicle.

Two: I'm tired of making someone else rich.

Three: Freedom to do what I want, who I want, when I want, where I want, because I want to! Also, I want the freedom to walk away.

Four: I'm tired of sweating rent and all of the other small stuff.

Five: Why sit on the sidelines and watch life pass you by? Screw waiting for the ship to come in.

Six: I was in the military and I've seen the world. I want the freedom to get back out there . . . and not come back!

I think that true game is not just about notches, it's about the lifestyle that allows you to chock em up to begin with.

It isn't going to be easy but nothing worth while ever is.

You got the right idea. It's not about coming up with phony lines or trying a cookie cutter approach to be like someone else. It's about doing You in the best way that you can, so that you are true to yourself. When others see you developing the kind of lifestyle you want to lead, they will be drawn to you because people are like sheep. Pursuing your dream is probably the best way to build character because its something that you want for you, as opposed to ... like you said ... doing it for somebody else. There is a lot on the market about this kinda stuff, but that doesn't mean there isn't room for more. Wherever you start off, the beauty is in seeing the direction that it eventually takes you.

There is truth in this statement.

The hottest women want to be part of a lifestyle that is attractive and rewarding. They want to be a with a man who lives the life he imagines. Or the lifestyle that society and media has told women that they deserve. Same difference.

As you have already mentioned, it's not about notches but about a lifestyle, this is where it all boils down to. Lead the kind of life and lifestyle that you want/dream and that will draw the chicks and the cool people in your life almost by magic. It won't be easy at first to go the unconventional way and to drop out of the 9-5 matrix, but it's so worth it.If you focus real hard on it and do it properly, it'll be the best decision of your life. One that will free you to lead the type of lifestyle thall most people around you can only dream of. I postponed doing that for years and now, after finally having done it, I'm kicking myself for not doing it earlier. But better late than never. All the best man and I'm looking forward to seeing/reading your blog and your success.

No, this is beyond selling something. It is me opting out of wage slavery or die trying. The lifestyle I am choosing isn't about PU. It's about enabling a life where I can spend my time picking up women instead of making someone else rich. As far as the blog and site, it's about opening our eyes to the lies we're all fed.

Thought I'd take a break from the book to come on the ole forum to see what's up. Thanks everyone for the kind words.

I'm about half way through the first draft with about 10 more chapters to go. After that it's going to be a MOFO getting all of the documentation. Then I'll do a second draft.

Once that is done I'm going to see the lawyer, then take the draft to my old college teacher to be edited. Then I will start the blog.

That's how I found out about Roosh and Roissy. I follow certain blogs like H.Mankow, Zero Hedge, NeitherCorps, Alex, Steve, Daily Bell, and Tyler. That's how I came to know game, through these blogs. That's why I am here.

What have you done yourself that your advice would be worthwhile? From your post it sounds like you want to do all of this great stuff but have not yet started, like an armchair whatever it is you want to do.

Good question.

I am about halfway through the book. I've been doing my homework on what I want to write about. Many of the people that I encounter in my day to day have no clue about what is going on around them, or why things function like they do. They rely on what is being told to them by those that would take advantage of their ignorance. All that I present is a different point of view that many people haven't considered.

People told me I wouldn't graduate highschool. They said I'd not last two seconds at Parris Island. They said I'd never graduate college. I did.
I have had a house and everything a man could want, including nice women. I flushed it down the toilet because of drugs and alcohol. When I got out of jail I was sober but had nothing. Honestly, I had to sleep on people's couches for a year.

Today I have a nice place, nice clothing, a paid off car, etc, and I have a date tonight.

Perhaps you think I have nothing to offer? We'll see about that.

I think you have something to offer, but sales and marketing doesn't work like that. It has less to do with what you have to offer and more to do with what people want and need. So who are your buyer's? What's in your book that is going to make people want to buy it?

A common newbie mistake in internet business is to try and sell something that's about YOU, when really people only buy stuff that's about THEM. You talk about "being awake," my guess is that 99% of people already believe that they're awake and it's the other guys who are ass clowns.

No, this has nothing to do with me personally. If it was about me it would be a lot easier to write. The research is a bitch!

I was just saying that I've overcome adversity. Yes most people think they know it all. I don't know it all though, far from it. The book stems from a challenge that was thrown at me from a baby-boomer friend of mine. I love a challenge!

The best salesman believes in his product. When I get finished the second draft I'll start the pitch. Right now I just have 3/4 of a first draft without notation, and a lot of enthusiasm.

This thread wasn't about selling my book. It was more about me getting back into it. For far too long I've been on the sidelines watching others get what I want. No more! I'm back in the gym, educating myself, and sarging constantly. If no one reads my books, if I don't make it with my finances, or if I keep getting shot down, well, it will not be because I didn't go all the way.

It's important to stay on, as Roosh would say. The best way to do this in my mind is to build momentum.

Not to counteract what you are doing but the thread title is somewhat true. Let's just look at travel within your own country for a second. There was a time where I got caught up in feeling that I needed to drive to destination of certain events because I needed to be in (and seen) in my nice car. That was kind of dumb because why put all that wear and tear on your nice car just to stay at some minimalist hotel?

Later on I discovered that I could just fly to these destinations (sometimes even using air-mileage perks), stay in the nice hotel and drive a decent (not flashy) car rental. Hell, I could even tell a chick that the car IS a rental. You end up meeting better women because some women put together: 1) Dude flew so he paid for that 2) Hotel is 4/5 stars 3) he HAS a car rental so he is making good money and has credit.

On top of that, I was not going out to eat at the places where the typical non-traveling dudes would eat (IHOP's, Red Lobster's, etc). I was suggesting places that were by either word-of-mouth and/or had clout in some other way.

Chicks saw the golf clubs, the tee times, the other folks who would join me for golf and they took mental notes on that. I did not have to run game. I could just be myself.

I come from Manila a city where I would be making peanuts for my labor; I had a chance to go to the US and now I make good bank in traditional industry that allows me extended vacations (and access to international dating). I'm living the dream!!

I'm bothered that young Americans do not know how good they have it -- from where I come from a 9-5 with stability is a respectable "lifestyle" that people would literally kill for. Imagine Mexicans crossing the border just to pick fruit, for they see the value of what is easily missed.

My point is that true "lifestyle design" is relative to what you are accustomed to. It's easy to look at the other side but it will be pointless without understanding that what you have is not that bad. Some philosopher dude said contentment is happiness.
