The only thing worse than being talked about, is not being talked about.

Go for it.

They (the mainstream) need him more then he needs them... The Mainstream is so fuking irrelevant these days. Music is such a good example of this as dudes are able to tour globally off a Soundcloud and Bandcamp page, all the while royally telling MTV to suck their cocks. When they reach a certain level then they accept the Mainstream/MTV into their frame 100% on their terms.

Exactly. Men used to go out and do great things, then the media begged them for airtime and dared not smear. Now its people doing whatever shit they can to get a second in the media in hope it igniting. Giving any power to the media is dangerous. We make the news, not them.

Just don't lay on the casting couch is all I'm saying.

Shit just got real.

Beyond All Seas

"The individual has always had to struggle to keep from being overwhelmed by the tribe.
To be your own man is a hard business. If you try it, you'll be lonely often, and sometimes
frightened. But no price is too high to pay for the privilege of owning yourself." - Kipling

Great stuff McQueen. Look forward to seeing the spot.

Make sure you have your ducks in a row. People are gonna Google your name after the show airs. You're already killing it in SEO. I'd suggest making sure your webhosting is up to snuff, in the event of a huge traffic spike. Make sure you have all you products at all price points available in 1 place, it might be hard for people to navigate to what they want right now.

Embedding clips from the show onto your website will be a huge asset for your personal brand.

Consider hiring a good publicist to handle inbound requests.

As for the show itself, go all out. Get a couple celebrities & models you know to "just happen to show up" at the venue to socially proof you, just in case the camera crew follows you on an off-night.

Game the journalists like mad. Get her to do the interview at your house. Escalate physically Russel Brand style, but don't kiss or fuck.

Have fun man

Young guys:

There are a lot of business lessons to be learned from McQueen and how he's gotten as far as he has. Read between the lines and apply them to whatever it is you're doing with your life.

No half-measures.

You're in this to make money, and it's going to make you money. Seems like a no-brainer. Congratulations are in order -- Your side hustling is really paying off bigtime. Nice job.

try and brain storm some new products, diversified from eBooks. Merchandise with a slogan for example ... a RoK wifebeater? Christian McQueen moneyclip, and product place throughout the segment.

Potentially you could be looking at Tucker Max / Mystery sort of exposure.

Then optimise your message via a media consultant, as MikeCF suggested.

I'm not sure on the legalities, but I would look at the methodology of obtaining a copy of unedited footage before signing a release. To allow you to broadcast on youtube (unedited) if need be.

You're going to do it... great... caveats

1. Have your own camera man and record EVERY single interaction (audio too) with these clowns. It will be a hit piece. They WILL try to make you look like a complete buffoon through the miracle of video editing.

2. The MSM is all about ratings and then money, nothing more, nothing less. Fight back by mentioning your book constantly. You're in it for the money, too. They will respect you for this. Shit, they will probably offer you a job.

3. Mention the Manosphere, often. If they smell a deeper story, there will be follow-up pieces and that's good. If they already know about the Manosphere, they will try to directly associate you with the most extreme elements. Your standard response: "I'm only here to help men with their relationship goals".

4. They are professionals at this. You're a rank amateur. They are rubbing their hands with glee and prepping the video editing software to make you look as bad as possible. Keep this in mind.

5. Your nuclear weapon: "So I guess your advertising department is calling the shots here?" Serious "journalists" will go apeshit when this concept is brought to light. Of course, they know the ad department calls the shots but they won't accept that.

Good luck. I was once a journalist. I know exactly how this works.

EDIT - THEY WILL LIE AND THEY WILL MAKE PROMISES THAT THEY WON'T KEEP! YOUR ONLY DEFENSE IS TO RECORD EVERY INTERACTION WITH THEM!!! IF THEY REFUSE, RUN.

I told you you'd break wide this year, man.

There's no way in hell it will be anything other than a hit piece. Women making the spending decisions and waste more of their income - advertising is targeted to them. Expect some of your sexual domination words to be thrown back in your face. Traditional news media is only hanging on by a thread, and needs sensationalism to compete. I wouldn't trust them to wipe their own arses. If you can game the women involved, maybe you'll have a chance. Media and PR slags are the most useless women on the planet, so if they're post wall, they'll be bitter too.

Good luck with it.

I know there's some tension with El Mechanico, but it would be cool if you mentioned "El Mechanico" in the interview somewhere.

It would be an RVF dog-whistle.

Awesome man... first Roosh getting TV appearances... then Neil selling his script to Hollywood... Tuthmosis with his two viral articles, and now this.

RVF is really going places. Makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside. Who knew a few years ago that all this would happen?

Excited for you man. Should be epic. On a side note, MikeCF was saying its better to be successful than be liked. Whether thats true or not, this should hit both. The people who matter (guys who could really benefit from your books/ advice) will like you, and anyone who doesnt wasnt worth it anyway (likely to be a feminist or extreme white knight).
