WalterBlack's Tokyo Trip - 1/Feb/14 to 5/Feb/14

TL DR; I never got any, but hopefully my report can give you some info that may come in useful. ¥100 =USD $1. My trip was not about getting pussy, if I did that’s great, but I primarily came as tourist. It was my first visit to Japan.

For 2 weeks pre-trip, I did the Pimsleur conversational Japanese class. I also made some notes about myself in Japanese via Google translate, I would show this text to Japanese people and they would usually become a bit more more talkative.

DAY 1

I flew into Narita airport and I stayed in Daimon, in Minato–Ku. Daimon is a short cab ride from Shibuya, Roppongi and Ginza. I took the slow train from the airport to Daimon station (about ¥1100 Yen). I purchased a PASMO (¥500, which is refunded when you return the card. You top up the card to travel on the subway) card to get around. Because I booked a few months in advance, and I booked over 4 nights, I got a hotel room half price via Expedia ($64/night). I got to my room around 8pm, took a nap and then at 10pm, I decided to look for The Hub in Roppongi. I couldn’t find it but I noticed that GasPanic was open - free entry all night and half price drinks before 1030. Bottle of beer at full price was ¥ 900. There were bad ratios when I walked in, about 5 guys to every girl. Average woman was a 6 but there were a few 7s there. I’ve highlighted the women in pink in the pic below. There were a few white women dancing in front of the DJ, not visible in the photo.

I opened a 5 and a 6 set of 2 Japanese women with the same phrase that I used everywhere (“Sumimasen, eigoga wakarimaska?” means “Excuse me, do you understand English?). They turned out to be 2 Singaporean Chinese girls so they spoke perfect English. I spoke to them for about 10 mins, then it turned out that one had a boyfriend from Iowa that she had met online and that she will one day move to the US to be with him. The other one liked Korean guys…next opened 3 Japanese women. One of them was very friendly, so I bought her a drink because she said she didn't have one. When I came back she was leaving, I kind of embarrassed her and made her drink it (in a polite way of course). I opened another set of 3. I bought a drink for another J girl but she bailed after a few mins. I opened the only black girl, Jamaican 7, great tits but she just stood there with her Japanese friend and didn’t talk to any guys.

I started taking to 3 Japanese guys. They were pretty cool and they bought me a drink. They said they were gonna go to a Japanese club and said they'd introduce me to Japanese girls. I declined because time is short and I wanted to meet girls, not hang out with guys. I stayed until 3am, by then the ratio was about 3 guys to a girl.

Outside the club, I was approached by a woman in the street offering a massage – I was pretty drunk so I said yes! I ended up getting a 2 woman massage for ¥3000...then she said handjob for ¥6000, and full sex for ¥20,000, but by then I had sobered up so I said no. I don’t do p4p. Got a cab right my hotel ¥1200. The Nigerians in Roppongi are arseholes, they follow you down the street when you try to walk off. You have to be pretty firm with these guys.

DAY 2

First went to palace then to the Yasakuni shrine (saw an Indian guy with a Japanese 7 leaving the temple) then to Senso Ji temple (at Asakusa station saw an Indian guy with a Japanese 8). I got to Ueno park and it was pretty dark, I saw a 6 on her own and opened here. She turned out to be a Korean travelling alone, she was in Japan for 2 days, I thought maybe I might get somewhere with her, but after 30 mins she told me she had a boyfriend in Korea. I wasn't getting the vibe that she was willing to screw around so we walked to station together and I said goodbye. I went back to my hotel and took a nap.

Around 1030pm I went to The Hub in Roppongi. Bad ratios again. I opened a white girl 5 sitting at a table next to me, she was from Denmark but lived in Tokyo. Then her Japanese friend sits down and the conversation is over, she's not interested in talking to me. I saw a couple of blonde Australian 8s at table, but they were with Aussie guys so I didn’t bother. I ended up speaking to 3 American guys (2 white, 1 black) – really cool guys. The black guy was married but you tell this guy had game, he looked like The Rock and was a smooth talker. He said NYC shits all over LA. I think I was the only real British guy in the whole place!

After The Hub I tried to go to Matrix club. It was closed so I walked around ended up at a basement place called Green Land. ¥1000 entry, but you get 2 drinks tickets, so drinks are ¥500 each for your first 2 drinks. After that drinks are ¥1000 each. Same 3 American guys were there. Walked in at 11, bad ratios again, about 5 to 1, I stayed until 430, I never saw any people making out..is this common in Japan? One Japanese 7 opened me, gave me a sip of her drink and bought me - she was a massive tease and acted a bit weird...She got some middle eastern guy's phone number right in front of me then she was with me the rest of the evening.

She never spoke any English and was very touchy feely. Her boyfriend was sitting on the other side of the bar, I thought they were swingers. I asked him if he's OK with his girlfriend doing this with other guys right in front of him, and he said "what can I do?" like a total beta. He bought me a beer and they left soon after. Here’s a pic of me with her. Sorry about the bad quality.

Opened a white 7, (Lithuanian), seemed cool to talk to, but then said she's there with her boyfriend. There was a blonde French 5 there, really tall but probably about 15lb over weight. She loved black guys and there were lots of black American guys in the club. I spoke to a few and they US Navy – pretty cool guys. There was a bald Indian looking loser guy who kept on trying to dance with girls by grabbing their arms. I spoke to him and he said he was Bangladeshi and he left. I was bored by then so I opened the one fat girl there - face was 8, but body was 4...half Filipino half Spanish. She left after a few mins.

The bar had a ladies only area so it was hard to approach women sitting there. Most of the girls were in groups and seemed that they were only there to dance and not mix with guys. I left around 430am. Cab to hotel was only ¥840 this time.

DAY 3

Went to Tsukiji market (it was closed) and Tsukiji Hongan Ji Buddhist temple. After that I went to Ginza and near Sony building I was approached by 7 and a 4..we spoke for about 20 mins and they turned out to be Jehovah's witnesses so that was that. I walked into Akihabara (it’s famous for its electronic and book stores) and took a look in the sex shops for a laugh to see how crazy Japanese adult movies could get. I found some movies where the cover had a woman holding a lump of shit in her hand! I was approached by a lot of women trying to get me to go to a Maid Café – at these places they charge a shitload of money just for the privilege of having women dressed as maids sing to you and serve you. The maids weren’t even that hot - most of the normally dressed Japanese women looked hotter.

Around 11pm I went to Shibiya to go to Club Camelot. It was closed, there were some roadworks going in so it wasn't possible to get in.

I noticed that there was a GasPanic in Shibuya and it was free entry so I went in. Massive sausage fest; about 10 guys and 3 women. There were 2 Japanese women sitting at the bar, I opened them but they didn’t speak English. There was a white 6 there, kind of looked old. She was dancing with a black guy when I walked in. After 5 mins they left together –I guess he got the bang. I literally wrote this part on my phone whilst sitting in the club, that's how shitty it was there.

I bounced after 45 min, and took a cab to Roppongi. When I got to Roppongi I was approached by a Sri Lankan guy who was trying to get me to go into a strip club called Seventh Heaven (http://www.seventh-heaven.com). We spoke for a couple of mins; he was a cool guy and he got me into the club for free, normally it’s a ¥7000 cover charge. I had to buy a drink whilst I was there (¥1500). The club was terrible –the girls pole danced but they never even got their tits out. A private lap dance is ¥7000 and for a girl to dance at your table it's ¥3000. The girls were mostly Russian 7s and 8s and a few Japanese 6s. The Russian girls were way hotter than the Japanese. One of the Japanese dancers had such a lack of arse I felt sorry for her. I stuck around for about 15 min and left.

I walked into the Matrix club. It was 100% men, so I walked out again.

I ended up in GasPanic Roppongi again. There were some of Japanese couples in there and a group of friends. Nobody to approach so I decided to bail.

DAY 4

The weather was really bad, it rained heavily in the morning. First I went to Omotesando and ate at the subway there; I opened a Japanese 6 who was sitting on her own. She was pretty cool and said she used to live in shikako..I thought what?! Then she spelled it out and she meant Chicago! She was cool but she had to leave cos she had to go to an interview.

I went to Omotesando hills shopping mall..there were a few 7s and 8s sitting there on benches alone so I opened one - we spoke for about 20 mins but she turned out to be married [Is this an Asian thing? Women talk to you for a long time and then they say they’re with a guy? At least western women are more upfront].

When you walk down Omotesando to Harajuku there are women everywhere just standing in lines for specific stores. I saw long lines of women queuing for popcorn...I think that's an easy day gaming opportunity there, just stand in line and talk.

I walked from Harajuku (Takeshita street) to Shubiya and stopped in Yoyogi park on the way. It's a hang out spot and there were hundreds of people waiting for a performance. I walked into the Disney store in Shibuya, again, nearly all women. I think women could be approached in all of these places.

By the time I got to Shibuya the rain had turned into light snow. I went to the 109 mall in Shibuya, the girls are very hot there. On each floor there's probably half a dozen 7 or 8s walking around at any given time. Probably 90% women. I walked around and to be honest with you I felt like I shouldn't be there because the mall is for women. There is a 109 mall for men in Shibuya too, but I never entered it.

I walked over to the Tokyo metropolitan government building and took photos from the 45th floor (it’s free). After that I went into the main Shinjuku area where all the shops are. There’s a side street called Golden Gai which goes into Kabuki-cho. This area is full of hostess clubs, soaplands and there’s a couple of places which say Japanese only on the door.

I got back to my hotel and I was planning to go to the Cardinal Pub near Tokyo station but I was too tired and I passed out. It was also as cold as hell so I doubt anybody would have been there. The next day I bumped into an Aussie and he told me Roppongi was dead that night too.

DAY 5

Last day I had to fly out but I ended up waking up at 5am so I decided to go to Tsukiji market. At a road crossing I opened a cute 6.5 Japanese girl who spoke great English, (I asked her directions to the market) we spent about 15 min walking to the market and she turned out to be visiting from Canada where she was studying hotel management. The market was closed and she left. I went to eat at a place called Kanno (it was great), then after that I went back to my hotel and then to the airport.
-------------------

In conclusion I would say that Japan has the highest proportion of hot women I've seen..I'd say about 50% are at least a 6, and about 10% are 8s....BUT, and this is a big but..I've never been to Eastern Europe, or Korea or Philippines. I think the average Japanese women beat the average Chinese and the average Thai women quite easily in the looks. I'm sure that there's almost no difference in quality between Chinese, Korean and Japanese 9s, there just seems to be a lot higher proportion of good looking women in Japan. The women all look feminine; they all wear make up and I don't recall much short hair, except on very old women. Most have great skin.

Japanese women are hot, but they have no arses. However the proportion of hot girls is ridiculous..any time I sat on the train there were 2 or 3 8s there. Small tits too on average. The foreign women looked huge in comparison. Many of the women wear skirts and they even make uggs look good!

In my opinion Japanese women on average are way better looking than most Asian Americans. I noticed a group of fat Asian women at the Senso-Ji temple with bad skin, they were American. On my plane there was a Chinese American 1..ugly, fat, bad skin and going bald! There's a lot of Chinese tourists there too, but most are ugly, tend to be fat, badly dressed and have bad skin and no style.

A few comments about Japan in general...
-Everybody (male and female) is well turned out, I never saw anybody wearing shit like pyjamas doing grocery like I see in Los Angeles.
-Almost no obesity, I'd say maybe 1 in 50 was a little bit overweight, everybody else was slim. No landwhales sighted!
-It's hard to get fat, unless you really try to. People walk everywhere.
-I went to McDonald's and subway, and they don't do diet sodas! The portions are smaller. The Japanese medium soda is the small soda in the US. If you don't want a soda then you can get green tea.

Downside of Tokyo.

-Lack of diversity of women. You're in heaven if you have yellow fever, but you're screwed if you're not. The few white women I did see around were pretty hot and most looked eastern European. I saw some hot Aussie female tourists. If you see ugly man like Asian women with short hair they're Chinese.
-Lack of international food. You can get Japanese, Chinese and Korean, American style food quite easily, but you're screwed if you don't.
-The TV is awful and unwatchable. Thankfully it's easy to access foreign stuff online.

In conclusion, I think that for me to get more Japanese girls, it would have to be either through social circle game, and I would need to learn the language. I would also have to go in the summer months..it was so cold nobody was out. The only day that was kind of busy when I went out was the Saturday that I arrived on. All the other days were dead.

Nobody seemed to give a shit that I was a foreigner. Most people thought I was American (I’m British). I never got stares from anybody walking down the street. I remember walking through Shenzhen and Dongguan in China and I got stared at everywhere I went. I think I need to pay a visit to Vietnam, or to go back to China. Outside of the main tourist hangouts, foreigners are pretty rate, especially foreign women.

I had a good time in Tokyo but I believe that I would feel very isolated there, unless I befriended some English speakers. I like to have conversations in English.

Would I visit Japan again? Sure, but I think only where I would be there for a few months. I think I would have better luck daygaming.

When I got back to LAX, I asked a person where the shuttle was...you could barely tell the person was female, she had short hair, no make up, about 5' 10" and looked like Robert Redford - Welcome to America!

Congrats on your trip to japan.

It's a fun place but you need to have strong language skill and/or a decent social circle to do well there.
I suggest you find a language exchange club back home.
Trust me on this. It helped my Japanese ability so much.
Plus a lot of the member will be returning to japan in 6 months to a year. Keep in touch with them via facebook and then give them a shout the next time you visit japan. The experience will be a lot better.

I agree on having yellow fever while you're there or its not worth while.

There are a few Mexican food places that are pretty good, If you go to Naka Meguro, there's a place called Junkadelic (just ask the guys at the station its pretty close -by)

There are a few others but I can't remember the exact stations.

Also there's TONS of Turkish, Nepali, Indian restaurants all over the city, some nice italian ones too, I"m actually suprised you missed those, as they are always indian guys trying to get people into their restaurants hanging around the major train stations. If you go to Roppongi, there's lots of Turkish restaurants around as well.
The CHINEESE food is diferent than in the states(don't know about britain) like really different.

Yeah, Japan is different from China, no one stares at you haha. Unless you go into some bar in a rural area where all the old people hang out(you should have tried that, it's hilarious), no one is going to be "suprised" about seeing you.

Getting women there, yeah you pretty much have to stay there for a few months to a year or two to get things down. There are women that speak English there, pretty much all of them DO understand the language, if you speak slowly and clearly enough (and not in a loud club). Its just that they can't really speak it back to you. You open in English and if you sense they're into you you can switch to Japanese (it shocks them a bit[Image: smile.gif]

Someone said "social circle" I suppose but it's more like "King of the social circle" if you want to go that route, or "befriend the King of the social circle" Basically try to be cool with the Men there, as more often then not, THEY will introduce you to hot women. Day game is good there too. . .due to the fact that theres like 100 hot women a second walking by in the large city centers (Shibuya, Shinjuku, Ikebukuro etc. . .)You will have to put in A LOT of number though in day game, I used to go to record stores aroudn there and hit up women who were alone, and looking at a cd or whatever there (yes there are record stores in Tokyo. . .and they're still in business)

Also, Pipelining is VERY useful there (japancupid.com) internet game works pretty well, if you don't have the time to pound the pavement(it's a LOT of work, even if you DO know enough of the language to talk to the women there.)

Also Summer months, you want to go to the beach, going out to clubs in summer. . .you can do it but. . .just go to the beach winter is a fine time to go out, its just like any other time pretty much, thing is, the party nights are thursday through Saturday night, with an emphasis on Friday and Saturdays. This doesn't really change even in the summer (August a lot of people are gone for the OBON holiday so you need to go to the beachers then)

The best times to go would be during the spring months, and November. November is literally THE best month there.

Getting girls at Clubs are kind of hit and miss to be honest. Sometimes you'll be on fire, but a lot of times it just won't happen, its a lot harder than in the states Imo, better to just do Daygame really.

Also, you need to make sure your dress game is up to par. Wear a suit everywhere you go (unless its summer. . .you won't be able to do that) basically, Gmanifesto would Kill it in Tokyo if he was there, I've gotten so many Lays(Same night) just from girls seeing me in a suit in the evening time while I was walking by a bar or something, prety much Suits can do your game for you, if you look good enough in them.

You said there weren't any people making out in the club you were in. . .

You were in the wrong club(s). . .

Roppongi, really isn't as great as people say, Shibuya is where it's at really. . .I've gotten more lays from Shibuya than Roppongi by far.

Oh and not ALL chinese women there look bad . . .I've gotten a few Chinese flags there too. . .

So I'm re-reading your post and saw that you went into strip club...

Never, Ever do that. Especially if its African guys trying to get you in, you're lucky you didn't lose more than what you did. (and what you spent there was just way way too much)

Props for honestly and for reporting on this and for approaching in a country where few speak English, it is not easy at all. I want to do a trip to Japan despite the fact that I realize language is going to be a huge issue. Will likely pipeline before. Thanks much.

I was approached by the owner of a Kebab place in Roppongi, but I only really wanted to eat Japanese food in Japan. I also spoke to an Indian restaurant owner and he told me that the Indian food in Japan is not spicy because Japanese people don’t like spicy food.

I like being stared at...I click better with FOB Chinese women than Japanese women BTW. I've been around Chinese FOB women daily (through work) for most of the last 15 years. Japanese women are lot rarer in my daily life.

I used RVF as my source for clubs/bars. I tried to go to GasPanic, Matrix Bar, Camelot, The Hub and the Cardinal Pub.

I just think I went at a bad time of the year. There was a snowstorm in Tokyo a few days after I left…even Shibuya wasn’t that busy when I went out.

I've banged Chinese FOBs in the US before and Japanese-Americans. I haven't got my Japan flag yet. There was one extremely flakey Japanese FOB I'd met in LA, the day I got back I said hi to her and she told me she'd met somebody! I think I probably saw about 5 really hot Chinese tourists there, out of the few hundred I saw walking around.

All the threads on Japan say that Japanese dudes are cockblocks. Def do not roll with them unless you can 100% trust them.

First went to palace then to the Yasakuni shrine (saw an Indian guy with a Japanese 7 leaving the temple) then to Senso Ji temple (at Asakusa station saw an Indian guy with a Japanese 8).

Haha, so I wasn't imagining this shit! Here is what I wrote a few months ago as part of my own impressions of Tokyo. The IRT promised land.

As a bit of a side note, those girls said they really like middle eastern/arab dudes and that this sentiment is shared by many girls in Japan, which kinda suprised us. Even funnier and no joke, but I also saw indian dudes doing very well with the j-girls in Rappongi, and I'm not talking about smooth Bollywood types but your typical Kumars with no style/looks. There was this awesome rotund Indian guy walking with a gold chain and a swagger as well as a hot J-girl. After seeing that I now understand the meaning of "Big in Japan!" Anyway, IRTs the world over take note, Japan may be for you lol.

You are lucky you got out of 7th Heaven without any trouble. That place is notorious for spiking customer's drinks with knock-out drugs, then maxing out their credit cards while they lie there drooling on the bar. Then, they toss them out on the street. The Japanese police will take your report, then do nothing more. Anyone who reads this, don't go into any strip clubs or message parlors in Tokyo. The Nigerian run places are the worst. Some Nigerian-run places hide it by putting touts of different nationalities outside. It sounds like 7th Heaven is doing this now.

Did you try placing an ad in the personals of Metropolis before you traveled to Tokyo?
