NFL Prospect Michael Sam Says He Is Gay

http://deadspin.com/nfl-prospect-michael...1519586166

Quote:Quote:

Former Missouri defensive lineman Michael Sam is projected to be taken in this year's NFL Draft. Even if he goes undrafted and a team signs him, Sam could be the first publicly gay active player in the NFL.

We all know how this will end. He'll go undrafted, and I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't even get picked up by a team. NFL front offices don't live in the same Lala land that the rest of this over-liberalized country lives in where they can be blind to the fact that not everyone is the biggest supporter of homosexuals. They saw what happened with the Jonathan Martin-Rich Incognito "bullying" mess, and they'll want to stay way the fuck away from anything that could incite a situation similar. Expect this to be a story when training camps start up, and this kid is still not on a team.

It never ends with the homosexuals. Talk about attention whores. Every time someone "comes out" they get treated like some kind of hero and given special attention. Book deals, tv appearances, scholarships, prizes etc.

This should not even be considered news.

Also, article from Sports Illustrated on this. Straight truth from the mouths of NFL GM's:

Quote:Quote:

"I just know with this going on this is going to drop him down," said a veteran NFL scout. "There's no question about it. It's human nature. Do you want to be the team to quote-unquote 'break that barrier?'"
Before his announcement, Sam had already emerged as a divisive prospect. Some look at his SEC-best 11.5 sacks and 19 tackles for loss and see a high-motor pass rusher who could go as high as the third round. Others see Sam, who is 6-foot-2 and 260 pounds, as undersized defensive end without a true position in the NFL. Of his 11.5 sacks, nine came in three games against what one scout called "garbage competition" -- Vanderbilt, Arkansas State and Florida. "His numbers are inflated," a scout said. "You've got to see through that."
One former NFL general manager described how Sam's future could play out in the draft room. He said when a team is preparing to make a pick, there's typically a declaration in the draft room that they're nine slots from choosing and will pick from six different players, or five spots away and choose from three players.
If Sam is among that group of players, the potential distraction of his presence -- both in the media and the locker room -- could prevent him from being selected.
"That will break a tie against that player," he said. "Every time. Unless he's Superman. Why? Not that they're against gay people. It's more that some players are going to look at you upside down. Every Tom, Dick and Harry in the media is going to show up, from Good Housekeeping to the Today Show. A general manager is going to ask, 'Why are we going to do that to ourselves?'"

He's attention whoring. Attempting to provide cover for a possibly shitty draft day. He is leaning on bloated numbers which he never attained in meaningful SEC games.

This is nothing new to locker rooms though. Every odd team has had a dude whom everybody knew didn't like the lady sticky walls and liked the dude fudge holes instead. In HS we had a queer on the team, dude wasn't open with it, but it was pretty damn obvious dude was gay. He came out like 2 years after HS to nobody's surprise... during football he was a good teammate and was decent D-liner. He kept to himself but wasn't a oddball of the team so its like I can imagine this isn't anything new to most football clubs. Football is a rare sport where dudes from all strips and backgrounds kind of just come together. As long as your reliable, play hard, and aint a little bitch nobody gives a fuck what you do. The team was full of nerds, bros, jocks, high-status dudes, low status dudes, broke dudes, immigrants, etc. We all still have mad respect for each other and what not to this day.

This guy is a huge clown; he shoots himself in the foot because he is making a scene and attention whoring. Instead of a 'Don't ask, don't tell' type of environment this guy is trying to bring unnecessary attention and drama to the lockeroom in which he hasn't stepped foot in yet. That is what coaches & GMs will pass on the dude because he has poor judgement.

Of course if dude was a blue-chip prospect it wouldn't matter. But a blue chipper wouldn't be so dumb to blast himself out and draw attention to himself like that if his main goal was securing the highest possible draft pick so he can get paid ($$$$$$$$!).

Nobody is going to treat you the same when you making so much of an effort to try and stand out...
Unless you can play on a elite level no locker room wants that bullshit. For all of Dennis Rodmans antics and buffoonery dude was elite level for the role he was given on the team. Didn't matter if he was out all night getting wasted with hoes his team knew he would bring it for the game and be 100% effective. This guy whom is profiled is a fringe practice league guy whom before all this was on the bubble on being drafted and some how he knew wants special treatment?

LMAO

But nothing to see here, again, just another instance of homos and their self-destructive nature:

Yeah I think this won't amount to much at all. NFL GMs live in such a competitive world that nobody's going to pass on drafting this guy if they think he could be a legit talent, and vice versa nobody's gonna draft him higher than he deserves just to "break the barrier" or whatever. If he gets drafted and does well good for him; there shouldn't be a stupid Social Justice Battle over it.

I doubt he'll get drafted or make an NFL team now. No one player is ever worth the locker-room distraction. Even All-Pros get cut/traded for being a bad locker room influence (ex. I remember Charles Haley being traded from the 49ers)

Note how the liberal media loves this story though. Similar to how they hate the anti-gay laws in Russia. The more that homosexuals penetrate worldwide culture, the more they rejoice.

He's a top DE coming from the SEC. Only thing that stops him from being drafted are shitty combine numbers. I saw a couple of his games. He's good. If there's a place for that Mante T'eo with the imaginary girlfriend, there's a place for Sam.

That said, gays will never see the equality that desperately want if every gay has to "make an announcement".

I imagine his jersey will be all over West Hollywood next season.

Of course, Herm Edwards is getting blasted on social media now because he didn't explode into cum and joy upon hearing that a gay athlete was going into the NFL. Jesus, anything besides offering to guzzle every gay mans semen really makes you the devil to these nerds.

The NFL will be watching. It released a statement saying: "We admire Michael Sam's honesty and courage. Michael is a football player. Any player with ability and determination can succeed in the NFL. We look forward to welcoming and supporting Michael Sam in 2014."

^Amazing how one should be celebrated for sticking their dick into another man's ass.

NFL not only has tax exempt status, but now celebrates the courage it takes to ream another man's asshole open.

You know, I wonder what, if anything will bring a halt to the homosexual juggernaut. They, along with feminists, seem to be going from victory to victory. This dude was America's star of the night on ESPN. Anything short of celebrating and worshipping the gay mafia and complete submission to their agenda will instantly get you labeled a hater and bigot.

Fuck this BS.

This guy is a talented football player, but a bit of a project. If anything, he might not get drafted because of that. Some smaller college prospects, or guys that played basketball in college, or even guys that haven't played football that long have gotten to the NFL and had success. From the tape ESPN has on loop, he looks like he can hunt down ball carriers, and has good speed as a pass rusher. It was mentioned that he struggled a bit at the Senior Bowl with dropping back into coverage, etc. as a linebacker. That doesn't mean that with some coaching he can't pick it up. Even if he doesn't get drafted, a team will sign him as an undrafted free agent. I could envision someone like Belichick bringing him in, because he likes working with versatile athletes, and only asks each guy to do one particular job. A strong locker room can handle all of this. Like a lot of young players, he'll have to spend time on special teams. He'll get a chance to prove himself. He's a first-team All American and his conference defensive player of the year. He'll get a look from someone.

I heard on ESPN that Putin was at some reception with the King & Queen of the Netherlands, and greeted her with a hug when she walked in, congratulating her on her Gold Medal. Classy move by Vladimir.

Man this complicates everything.

If I can try and be fair about the matter, I at least respect him for disclosing this. No one is getting mislead. Teams can make an informed decision about if they want to draft him.

It is different than if you marry a girl who had a ton of plastic surgery and your kids turn out hideous. And she didn't tell you.

What is interesting is he told his team in AUGUST, and it didn't become a story until he disclosed it. Maybe I am reading too much into that but that shows men and loyalty, a chick couldn't keep her mouth shut about that sort of thing.

Probably cost himself some serious money though.

I was at an art museum the other day and saw a gay guy with two very attractive girls. It was almost as if he was their toy there to amuse them.
I like the traditional approach to gay people. Have them, Stay. In. The. Closet. No promoting it to children. No one's going to hurt you, just don't be open about it. Don't ask, don't tell.
