I'd be interested to see the reactions if this was in the U.S.

I realize some states still don't have cell phone bans but I've grown use to it.

If they tried it in the US? Dude would be arrested and quite possibly beaten up.

We don't have nice cops, like they have in Eastern Europe.

.... I died a little inside, writing that.

I guarantee that not every time, but at some point, the second he took a bite out of his cookie, some cop (in the U.S.) would slam his door open, grab him and cuff him, citing obstruction. No doubt in my mind. Can't believe these cops are so nice.

This is in Poland.

I personally have experience with Polish police. They are quite friendly.

I guess a U.S. version is in order for compare and contrast. Maybe I'll do it when I get back from the Philippines. I don't need any reasons for my trip to get canceled.

The did it here in LA. I'll post the link after I find it. It was a comedian and the cops were LAPD.

Tehe cop threw the cookie phone on the ground breaking it, but couldn't do anything until he ran the guy's license.

The guy had thousands in unpaid parking tickets so they took him in until he paid them lmfao.

Nice to know they actually still behave like civil servants in some countries.

So you DID get it all on your cameraphone! Just pay the damn tickets and get back to Vegas!

Come on! Make sure you have all your ducks in a row before you try some shit like this.

No unpaid tickets
Drivers License
Proof of Insurance
Vehicle Registration

It wasn't quite clear at the end of the story. Did he only get a ticket because of the unpaid parking tickets or was the cookie a factor?

He only got taken in because of the unpaid parking tickets warrant. There's no law about driving with a cookie in your hand.

That was awesome, seemed like he actually made some cop's nights a little better there.

Isn't there a nuisance law?

Also, aren't there laws against eating while you drive? It's a similar distraction to cel phones.

If you're going to try that in the US, best to use a bacon maple log.
