I'm looking to do an intense course/diploma in Programming. I want to do it a nice city. Right now I'm looking at either Montreal or Vancouver to do something but if anyone has any knowledge about this it would be extremely useful.
Diploma in Programming. Which country?

diploma in Programming?
Try CodeAcademy, it's free
By diploma I meant an intensive 8 month/1 year program. Also I'm looking to move to a different country or a new city in Canada.

I heard of codeacedemy, but does it actually teach the main programming languages fully ?
is it accredited?
Do they have the most updated form of programming languages?
I'm asking because I know nothing about programming and want to start learning programming.

Another forum member made a detailed post on how he became employed as a programmer after 8 months of teaching himself how to do it:

He basically said that you don't need a qualification if you are willing to build up a portfolio. Just some food for thought.

I don't study Programming but I am studying my Master in England now and also live on campus. I can only say that it is the best experience of my life and I love every minute I spend here. The girls are from everywhere around the world and you can get to know so many people. Maybe it is an option for you.
