IKE's Hissy Fit #1: Fatties sending SMP Non-Linear

I am sitting in Starbuck's, I more or less live here when I'm on parole doing my creative work until I am jailed again.

As I sat here I saw about 8 college students come through. Most had very good genetics under the 20-25 lbs of American CarbLard.

The one slim girl had on sunglasses and an attitude.

Wait, another ideal weight girl just walked by. 1/8. Beautiful, very tall and thin with a thigh gap. But how many kids can she have to compensate for the rest?

In any event what I'm realizing is that 60% fatties doesn't reduce the number of edible Americhix by 60%, the scarcity they create damages the attitude of the other 40%, reducing their personality appeal .

So we end up with about 25% breedable girls out of what would be an otherwise splendid gene pool, with most people genetically selected for adventurousness because their ancestors ditched it all for American in the 1800s- early 1900s.

And there's my hissy fit for the day.

Such a shame too, most of the fatties look relatively bright and would be very pretty if they were lighter. They had good nutrition in childhood, at least in terms of getting everything needed.

I'm not really pissed at them, I'm pissed at the reinforcers in place that push fattitude as a coping mechanism.

As a fortysomething guy, I can confirm what he just wrote.

When I was in college there was ONE fat girl on my dormitory hall each year. And that was for two out of the four years. I still remember their names, Sue and Maureen.

The rest of the girls varied in looks, height, and weight, but none were fat per se. You had your snobs, of course, who were really hot and behaved like it. But you didn't have 4s behaving like 8s or anything of that sort. Neither me or my close friends went thirsty and often were able to punch above our weight, so to speak.

And now here comes the sad part.

I just saw some old pics of Maureen on Facebook via a mutual friend. She hardly looks fat at all when viewed from today's perspective. Back in the pre-Clinton era, she was considered a freakishly big cow no one wanted to date. Think about that.

That still is what it is like being in Hong Kong. You see fatties, but they know who they are and they make well and sure that their presence doesn't ruin your day.

Held a BBQ at a friend's place on Lamma Island once. One of the girls we'd invited (we basically just made in a combined Day 2 for the dozens of girls we'd picked up phone numbers from over the previous three days) brought her fat friend with her.

Fatty kept busy doing dishes in the kitchen.

I was considered a 'fat kid' before high school / puberty in the 70's - by teachers and other kids. I remember the most popular girls (both who looked like the blonde from Abba), making a crossword based on our names for the school magazine and my clue was 'funny little fat fellow'. I see the photos now and I'm probably considered underweight. Hell, I was skinnier than Chunk.

I'm not bitter - I'm proof that fat shaming works. The girls did me a favour.
