Accountability Partner Thread

Hey guys,

I'm posting this thread so that we can find other guys on the forum that will hold us accountable for goals that we set for ourselves. I've found success with this in a workout context, so I thought I'd post it here. The way I envision this working is that we check in with each other to make sure that we're on track and taking action no matter how small. It may be helpful if we are both trying to achieve the same goals, but it's not necessary.

So I'll start. At this point I have a pretty good job and my health, workout, and eating habits are pretty solid. Game wise, I'm good, right now it's not a priority. I want to travel and do my own thing which I can't with my job. While having steady income is a great thing, it also makes me slack off on building side hustles. I've made some progress, but nowhere near where I can be. So I decided that this year no more bullshit.

So my biggest goal for this year is to create a side income stream though the internet that generates 1500/month. I think this is perfectly reasonable and achievable.

Anyway if anyone is interested send me a PM, I prefer more established members. In the mean time what I will do is update this thread on a daily basis with what I am doing to to achieve this goal. That way I'm accountable to the entire forum.

Feel free to post motivational words/videos or any advice. Thanks all.

Read this, man: http://www.rsdnation.com/node/229913/forum

A great system for building good habits. I have a private accountability with a couple other guys and we track it in a spreadsheet. I've been shit about it lately and missing a good chunk of my habits, but it has still brought about a lot of great change in my life.

BB thanks for the link man! Great stuff. My issue has been that I'm pulled in so many directions, between work, lifting, training, etc. it's tough to actually start a side business. The good thing is for the habits listed above, I'm pretty solid, I might miss some days here and there, but I'm in them for life. This thread has been great because it's forcing me to post what I did today. I've been just BSing and doing things here and there for too long. I need daily effort.

Continued working on draft. Half way revised, tomorrow night I have free so I will attempt to finish it tomorrow.
