I've got to get reacquainted with Spanish and start on Tagalog. My plates too full for anything else. My question is primarily geared toward Chinese and Russian. Has anyone had any experience with using terps and swooping? I don't even have a theory on this. They can be hired in Shanghai for $30-$40 U.S. daily. I imagine it would run the same in some Soviet Block nations. Could this help or hinder getting bangs? Would getting a male or female terp make a difference? To me it would be worth paying instead of trying to wrap my head around a language outside of the Romantic group.

Using an interpreter while swooping? This sounds silly and awkward to me unless your only goal is P4P. What you gonna do when you bring a girl in your room to show her some travel pictures or to see a movie? You gonna bring an interpreter with you? And when you and she talk during sex, the interpreter would translate it too? How do you imagine it?

Another, less obvious, aspect is culture. Most of American jokes will fail with Russian girls even if you have a perfect interpreter (which is unlikely; the chance is your interpreter won't be even able to translate the joke so it sounds funny). If you try to talk about some American music, sports, politicians or talk shows, she might not know any of them. Johnny Cash, for example, is largely unknown there. When you study the language, you also study the culture, you learn how people introduce themselves, how they talk and what about, what is acceptable and what is not, and so on. So, in my opinion, using an interpreter will fail.

Agreed. I am learning everything I can about Russian/Ukrainian culture, customs and even took a trip to DC to submerge myself in fresh in America Russian women.

So, do like me. Start learning the language and customs. Make Russian guy friends and practice customs.

I agree using a terp to swoop a girl that speaks no "Engrish" wouldn't work, but that wasn't my question. I was referring to having one along, would it help or hurt? IME a lot of chicks speak just a little English and are embarrassed/afraid to use it. I would do the initial approach but use the terp to assist the convo. They also act as tour guides, pointing out better/cheaper restaurants, shopping, ect. Some of the money you pay them would be recouped this way.They could also be beneficial in diffusing a bad situation or keep you out of one altogether. I'm not sure if having one would raise social statue but it probably couldn't hurt. If they're socially connected you could get in their circles pretty quick I would imagine. This could shave time off the process of getting in w/ the locals the old fashioned way. And it will save me from having to learn Russian or Chinese, which I ain't gonna do anyway.

Not always. In Thailand she may bring you into the most expensive place, or the one which pays her commission. Also are you really sure you wanna it in the cheapest restaurant in Thailand? I'm 100% sure I do NOT want to eat in the cheapest restaurant in Russia, I've seen that.

I realized what you were talking about, and I still think it would hurt. In no way is an interpreter assisting your convo going to help IMO. I think you are almost better off trying to swoop without even talking to the girl and using body language alone. B) You're gonna look like a dumb American tourist that can't get along by himself in another country if you have an interpreter with you. It sounds like a horrible idea IMO. I think it makes you look pretty clueless. I think you would have better chances just finding girls that speak English without an interpreter, because I think even if the girls that do speak English see you with an interpreter, you may look a little lame. That's just my opinion. Plus, do you really want someone following your around when you are trying to hunt for pussy? It's just another factor that could potentially blow it for you. What if the interpreter is awekward? This also points out how it would be a bad idea to use an interpreter to game. Even if what you are saying is good, he might be bad at relaying the message the way you want it to sound. If your interpreter isn't good at game, chances are its gonna blow your game as well. I've delt with this situation. I've picked up girls that didn't speak my language and I barely spoke theirs, without an interpreter. It worked out fine. If you have tight game, you don't need an interprerter. Find other ways to communicate without having to talk so much, such as dancing, body language, pointing out surrounding around you. Learn a little local lingo. If you speak at a beginers level there's no reason you shouldn't be able to pull. One example I can think of that I used was showing the girl pictures from my trip and also where I'm from and trying to tell her a little about the significance of the photos (This also worked out pretty well because where I live is beautiful. I was telling her how much she would love it there and blah blah.) I think open minded girls find it just as exciting as us men to get with someone who hardly speaks their language. As long as you are showing interest, effort, and confidence, she will see it and appreciate it. Bringing an interpreter around with you doesn't make you look very adventurous IMO. You might as well look like this guy...
