fat women smashing their scales--latest episode of predictable cycle

Just saw Roosh's tweet about this: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/12/31...24224.html

I've noticed that there is a cycle to this kind of thing: 1) fat women and/or feminists come up with some new fat-empowerment stunt; 2) for a brief period they get applauded for being brave, kickass, beautiful, empowered, etc.; 3) everything goes back to normal and they are forgotten.

There was the fatkini thing http://www.mamamia.com.au/social/fatkini...-swimwear/

The yoga instructor who got fat: http://www.rooshvforum.network/thread-28869....hlight=fat

A variation is the carefully posed, made-up, and photo-shopped picture of a plus-sized but otherwise good-looking model circulated to prove that bigger women are beautiful--these will circulate on facebook now and then. Or someone like Jennifer Love-Hewitt or Tyra Banks will get photographed looking fat, exclaim that she loves her body and no one should judge her...and quickly drop out of sight for awhile and lose the weight.

See also: burlesque, bellydancing, etc. I'm not saying there isn't an overall trend toward fat-acceptance, or let's say, an overall trend toward increasing fatness coupled with feminist pressure to accept fatness and grudging acquiescence by more and more men with fewer and fewer options. I'm just saying that these periodic excrudescences follow a predictable pattern: attention-grabbing stunt usually involving fatty "bravely" taking pictures of herself, statements that Everything is different, this is sexy/beautiful/amazing now, and then everything goes back to normal, "brave, amazing" fatty is forgotten, and fat women continue to not be sexy.

Fun to mock, sure, but not worth getting sucked into more than that.

They're smashing scales, brilliant. Then Nigel can smash their pussies. Win/win?

I doubt they'll ever smash their future wheel chairs, they'll need them. Nigel's got the setup for these girls already: romantic wheelchair and dinner by the beach.

Fat girl rage is so utterly transparent: projected self-loathing about their inability to control what they eat. They don't despise themselves because they're fat, they despise themselves because they have so little self-control they choose ice cream as being more important to them than their health and appearance. They would literally become suicidal if all that frustration and anger remained self-directed, so in order to cope they are forced to project it externally. Hence, fat girl rage.

True.

The big danger here is that the fat-girl rage and defiance, if sustained long enough and promoted enough in the media, can eventually become legitimized. Which is what they want. They want to force the rest of us to accept their degeneracy and obesity.

By staging enough of the incidents--unopposed by any contradictory worldview--they hope to shatter the old paradigms of what is acceptable in personal appearance. And that's why people like this need to be constantly mocked, humiliated, and crushed.

If we don't constantly maintain the Hadrian's Wall of feminine appearance standards, the obesity barbarians will eventually find ways of chipping away at the wall or climbing over it.

These symbolic acts do have significance.

You can't confront such grand feminist-delusions head on. Logic doesn't get the point across to the lowest common denominator of people that might swallow such bullshit.

I need to work on Nigel more and finish the book. Then write a script for the movie and sell it to John Waters. Nigel is the only solution. The best way to destroy fat acceptance is through "agree and amplify", to show these women what they really are, and who will really love them.

I think getting fat is the first symptom of hitting the wall. It's gotta be a hormonal problem that
causes them to burn less fat while at the same time always feel hungry and keep stuffing their pieholes.

Maybe to some extent, but not to this degree. People of all ages used to be much less fat, like decades ago. People are fatter now than ever before, and it certainly isn't natural.

If you gain 2 lbs a year from age 20 onward, when your 23 you only gained 6 lbs. When you're 35 you gained 30lbs. Even gradual weight loss adds up over time.

I don't understand why they are mad at the scale.

It's not the scales fault that they are fat.

Do I buy tampons? NO, because I have no use for them.

Why do this larders buy scales in the first place? just so they can go to "scale smashing meetings" and feel like they have friends besides their 3 cats?

If they wanted to destroy a scale, they should've just stand on it.
