Thanks VP

No luck with the really hot ones yet. Have done number of day approaches around Shinjuku and Shibuya stations but most of the time just got blanked, in a similar way as the majority of those Japanese nampa dudes get blanked. Have tried opening in both English and Japanese but no real difference.

Got one very hot girl's Line ID. Tried to set up a meet but between her poor English and my poor Japanese things fizzled out. My opener consisted of asking her (in Japanese) where the nearest Donki (chain of department stores) was.

My Japanese is definitely improving but nowhere near the level where I can have a normal conversation and convey everything I want to say.

These are the hardest stations to crack. I recommend trying other stations (Tamachi, Roppongi, Ueno, etc. ) I've been there before - talking to a stone wall for nearly 10 mins before she cracked a smile and opened up. These girls get hit on all the time so sometimes you have to be creative and persistent as hell. Welcome to Tokyo street game !

If I remember right, the Kinokuniya in Shinjuku (South Exit) has a large English book section. Chatting up girls looking at the English books might be worth trying sometimes.

I'm planning on moving to Tokyo in July/August time and would like to stay close to Shibuya if possible. Think I'll probably start out in a shared house to begin with but I'd eventually like to get my own place.

Just wondering how you went about getting your own place and how much you're paying?

They list their properties on the website and you can search by area. They speak English.

For a house share you could try Sakura who are also in Shibuya

The "in" zone to live in is Shibuya I guess no?

"Christian love bears evil, but it does not tolerate it. It does penance for the sins of others, but it is not broadminded about sin. Real love involves real hatred: whoever has lost the power of moral indignation and the urge to drive the sellers from temples has also lost a living, fervent love of Truth."

For proximity to nightlife I would go with Shibuya or Roppongi.

I think Shibuya might be closer than Roppongi to other nightspots like Ebisu, Harajuku/Aoyama, and Shinjuku.

I would definitely stay in Shibuya if you have the money. From my experience it has the best nightlife and social scene in Tokyo. Not only that, it's also very easy to get around Tokyo from Shibuya. Mind you, it will be very expensive staying there.

Thanks for the links.

I've checked out Fontana and Sakura and it seems that there's more availability in the Shinjuku area. How do you rate Shibuya vs Shinjuku?

I can't decide whether to stay in a shared house or get my own place. I was thinking about going shared since it's easier to meet people, but at the same time I don't want to be stuck with people I don't get on with. I guess it's hit or miss.

Shinjuku is a major hub and on the Yamanote line. It's also a great place to stay but I just wouldn't rate it as highly as Roppongi or Shibuya. Shinjuku has a lot of nightlife in terms of restaurtants, izakayas, small bars but has less to offer in terms of clubs, lounges etc. On the other hand there are 3 HUBs in Shinjuku which are good places to meet foreigner friendly Japanese.

I've only been in Tokyo for 4 months so others on here will be able to do a better comparison than me.

As far as house share vs your own place is concerned, why don't you just start with a house share, only sign up for a month or so and then if you get here and you don't like it, you can look for other places. That's what I did, via Oakhouse.

Tokyo adventures

I finished reading Roosh's Day Bang last weekend and today finally got round to doing my first 2 hour weekly day session, aka nampa.

Did all the approaches near where I live, around Shibuya 109 and the Starbucks by the Shibuya crossing. Approached 11 girls on the street and 1 in Starbucks.

For the Starbucks one, I asked her the meaning of a kanji in a magazine I was reading (kono kanji no imi wa nan desu ka). She politely answered but then when I followed up and said how difficult kanjis are (kanji wa muzukashii ne) and rambled on a bit she didn't put anything in the conversation so it just fizzled out.

For the 11 street approaches I used the pet shop opener (chikai no pettu shoppu wa doko desu ka). 4 blanked me and walked right on, 3 initially blanked me but then after they'd heard what I had said turned around and became helpful and the remainder stopped walking straight away to respond to my question. The girls were all in the 6.5-8 range, 18-25 y/o.

The biggest problem was that after they had told me where the nearest pet shop was or that they didn't know, the conversation quickly fizzled out. I made a comment about how there are a lot more pet shops in my country than in Tokyo (watashi no kuni takusan pettu shoppu ga arimasu) but none of them took this "bait" and asked me what my home country is. Funny thing is that one of the approaches was on one of those "unapproachable" gyaru types. I was fully expecting her to blank me and walk right on but she turned out to be the friendliest of the bunch and that was the longest convo I ended up having.

Unfortunately there were no hot white girls (only fat ones) in the area to have a go at. It would be good to compare reactions from the western ones vs Japanese ones. When I was in the Shibuya Starbucks looking out over the crossing I did see a gorgeous white/latin girl wearing a skimpy dress (it was balls hot here today) with nice big ol' titties hanging out of her dress but couldn't find her again later on.

I like j girls a lot but definitely don't have an Asian fetish. I do miss white/latin girls from time to time, esp the bigger hooters.

All in all, I'm definitely gonna keep this up and am confident results will improve with more practice.

For the guys with good Japanese on this forum, how would I say "the reason I asked you [where the nearest pet shop is] is because you look like you would know this" or "you look like you would know [where the nearest pet shop is]"?

zanetti, nice work. In Shibuya, where the starbucks is across from the station, I recommend heading up to the 10floor? There is a book/magazine store filled with mostly girls. The place is a gold mine for Roosh-style gaming, I always hit up that place. I believe it is above the Tsutaya and DVD rentals.

Keep dropping bait, if they are still standing there talking to you, keep talking, and don't fizzle out, just keep rambling. I've been in your position a thousand times. The pet shop opener requires more Japanese than the other ones. If you stall out just say ちなみに大学生に見える (by the way you look like a college student). Or ちなみにこの辺の人に見えないね (you look like your not from here).

read this, I found it to be mostly true, especially for Shibuya known as the ”ナンパメッカ” (nanpa mecca of Japan).

For Shibuya street game I recommend, doing it freestyle - shit talking, teasing, just be free. All you need is "do you speak english?" and just go from there. Keep it simple.

Bookstores and indoor stuff i just went roosh-style and rambled a lot.

In Shibuya, I had more success meeting girls indoors (Loft, bookstores, tsutaya, starbucks) rather than the street.

There are several ways to say these things, hopefully you can get some ideas and make your own.

お姉さん。。この辺詳しそうなので 話しかけちゃいました - you looked like you know。。。。So I asked. (polite)

I sometimes used this one:
実は聞いた理由は。。。動物好きな人に見える(ね) honestly, the reason I asked.... is because you look like you like animals. (casual)

I sometimes used this version:
話しかけた理由は。。。 the reason I asked....

Another version:
この辺詳しそうなので 渋谷住んでる人だと 近くのペットショップがありますか? because you look like you know....if your a person living in shibuya... is there a pet shop near?

I went to the "Caribbean" festival at Yoyogi Park today. There was a heavy presence of vaginage there, about a 60-40 ratio. I definitely recommend festivals like this for day game. I was with my kids so I couldn't do much approaching, even though some of the girls were giving me IOIs. I did do one which I will talk about in my approach thread in the newbie forum.

Lol, I was there too. It was actually a Latin American and Caribbean festival. For me it was too much Caribbean and not enough Latin American. I went there hoping to see some latin honeys shaking their butts but not a lot of that going on. There was only that Brazilian girl with those fake titties getting people to go to that Churrasceria stand or whatever it was. Still a fun experience tho. Made some small talk with a Colombian lady from Armenia.

Freaking j cockblockers

Was tearing it up in a club tonight. Ended up talking to a cute j girl and got her all curious about the size of my dick. She said she wanted to experience her first western man, we were about to leave the club when all of a sudden out of nowhere within a 1 minute period 3 different j dudes, that she didn't know, walk by and whisper stuff in her ear as a result of which she changed her mind and didn't want to come back to my place anymore.

Crazy thing is that when she walked off, none of those tools even approached her. They just wanted to make sure I wouldn't get any, that's it.

I approached a lot of girls tonight and there must have been at least 7 different j dudes running interference on my shit. In one case one of them even tried to trip me when I was walking around the club with this other girl.

So instead of having some sweet tight poontang in my bed right now, I'm typing all this shit up on my ipad. Fuck those twats

You gotta come up with a strategy to counter that crap. I'd say you have to ritrually humiliate those guys when they do that in the club. Anticipate it and as soon as they approach your girl challenge them to a dance or drinking contest. Or an arm wrestling challenge. Or, memorize and give them a devastating, back-handed compliment in Japanese.

a) Search for "AMOG" tactics on rvf or other pickup boards. It must be quite easy for those Japanese guys to loose face?
b) Was she alone when they approached her, or have you been with her? You could have said, "nice to meet you + blablabla + byebye" and leave with her, if you are walking right beside her.

I feel you dude. You are a big guy so you stand out in somewhere like Japan. The same thing happens to me when I do street around Tokyo. None of my friends have been cockblocked as much as I have (I draw attention too) so I speak from experience.

One thing I always do right off the bat is ask the girl 「この人は知り合い?」(Is this guy a friend of yours?) to which they will say no. Then you step between them with your back to the guy and keep talking to her as if he didn't exist. This works 90% of the time for me.

Then there is the other 10% where he carries on trying to talk to her, then you tell him [すみません。いま会話中なので」(Sorry but we are in the middle of a conversation here) and wave him away with that hand gesture they use here. The point is to frame the Japanese guy as being impolite. This gets easier to do once your Japanese improves.

If it is several guys in a club then you can start joking with her「今日は酔っ払い多いね!」(There are lots of drunks here today eh?). Again, keep the frame on these guys being impolite drunken fools.

Don't engage them and don't let them talk to your girl unless it's obvious she wants to (in which case her interest level is low anyway and she is probably an attention whore).

Well it looks like I'm finally starting to get some momentum going here. I managed to bring a girl back to my place in my last two weekends going out here. The first one I met in Feria in Roppongi, a bit cougarish but in very good shape. She agreed to go back to my place within 20 minutes of meeting her which was interesting. She didn't speak a word of English so it was all up to my limited Japanese.

That same night I also met one of the hottest girls I have seen in a couple of years. Brazilian, I originally thought she was Colombian, long dark hair, dark eyes, slightly tanned skin, big (fake?) titties. I was there by myself and she was with a less attractive Brazilian friend that was in a bad mood. I actually think they may have been high end escorts on a ho-tour as she told me she would be in Tokyo for a couple of months. I know for a fact they have a lot of Brazilian pro's in some of the high end Japanese only brothels here.

Also brought home a cute girl last night. What got me about her wasn't so much the sex but more the fact that she was literally the sweetest girl I have met for a very long time. She was actually fun to talk to and be around. Very polite, feminine, sweet, upbeat. Our communication was 80% Japanese and 20% in English. She doesn't go out all that much and I was her first non-Japanese guy.

I think it's safe to say I'm permanently ruined for ever having anything more than a brief sexual encounter with a western girl. There is just no going back to it. The language school I go to in Tokyo is 80% western people. The more time I'm spending here, the more difficult it is becoming for me to relate to them on a day to day basis, the feminized men with their PC opinions, the entitled Swedish bisshes, chubby Italian girls with ugly tattoos and short hair, obese Americans/Canadian chicks with attitudes. The hottest girls in the school are all Asian: Korea, Singapore and Taiwan.

I will be in South East Asia for the next 2.5 weeks and am definitely looking forward to being back in Tokyo after that. Yesterday I also hit up a beach by Kamakura with Dreambig. Some amazing honeyz there. It was my first time going to a beach in Japan and definitely an eye opening experience. Feels like bikinis are designed specifically for Japanese girls' bodies. I'd say that more than half the girls there were bangable and a significant number of these hot. I made a number of approaches but couldn't get anything to stick. Dreambig did very well and got a whole bunch of numbers. Next time I go to the beach I think I'm gonna have a couple of drinks to get the social juices flowing some more.

Also so far I must have been on >15 dates with girls I met on Badoo, Okc and Tinder and I can safely say that, with the exception of 1, it has been a complete and utter waste of time. I can't recall how many times I've sat in an izakaya being the only foreigner and the girl I'm on a date with being by far the least desirable of all the girls there. Shit like that ain't right yo!!

Good to see things are commg along Zanetti!
The girls at the beach, were they mostly with guys, or with other girls or by themselves?
You're totally right that once you've had a taste of a real Asian girl I. Asia, it's very hard of not impossible to go back to a western girl. No way!
