DuckDynasty is a business, and the people who run that business have to make decisions about how to maximize the profitability of that business. Robertson himself is really the face of the brand as I understand it. My own Kantian/libertarian view would say that what he does on his own time is his own business, but the decision makers here have to consider how the behavior of their patriarch effects the brand. I suspect it's not nearly as much as they think it does, and by suspending Robertson, they're killing the goose that lays their golden egg, but it's ultimately their decision.

I don't know about everywhere else but in the Southern states where I live this shit is EVERYWHERE. They got Duck Dynasty beef jerky, chap stick, cigars, and chia pets, ect. Its out of control. I think it's even worse in the UK and other Western 'democratic' countries like Canada. You basically have to toe the party line re all the common fallacies of political discourse, otherwise be seen as the bad guy.
