@soup yep.

Also LOL at "make her fear you shotgun lesson two". I saw the title and just started laughing and ignored all his posts.

I was going to suggest that he just start a "shotgun's lessons thread" but at that point, why not just make your own blog?

The beauty of this forum is that isn't just a lecture, it's an interactive experience where guys can check what they are doing with other guys.

It's great that we can concur on things concerning women even though we are all from different parts of the world.

I feel much more confident enacting the stuff we are talking about when I know it's actually been successfully vetted by other guys all over the globe.

Yeah it's a dead troll giveaway new guy comes in and title of the post is he is going to "teach you a lesson". Lol!

Anyone with social skills would come on here give information that has not been posted, instead he tries to teach us "commoners" lessons.

Funny stuff.

+1 When I first started searching for PUA sites nearly a decade ago, most of the information I read involved shitty pick-up lines and pedestalizing women. In hindsight, I'm pretty certain I was being trolled by 13 year old virgins.

Most likely someone with a high post count. He had quite a few posts in just a couple months. A lot of great posts, so someone who could at least talk the talk, suggests a previous member with a longer experience with the forum, who eventually got banned due to covert trolling activities. I'm guessing a previously banned member with 445+ posts.

There are only 6 previously banned members who fit this criteria and rationalize_this is one of them.

Shotgun Styles had 351 posts and received 370 likes. Clearly someone capable of high quality posts.

That eliminates Brian, who received only 68 likes out of 1300+ posts.
Ugslayer got only 299 likes out of nearly 1300 posts.
HiFlo only received only 243 likes out of over 1000 posts.
snoop, 92 out of over 500 posts.

rationalize_this received 333 likes out of 623 posts, which is a much better average than those listed above.

Another candidate would be Pyre, with 296 likes out of 492 posts. He joined in August, but didn't get banned until a couple weeks ago, so unless we are talking multiple overlapping accounts, which doesn't fit with the banned and returned member narrative, and therefore rationalize_this is the most compelling candidate.

AHA! I suspected he was a troll too.

My trolldar is improving.

Edit: However, this does not mean he did not have quality posts. That is a given.

"Christian love bears evil, but it does not tolerate it. It does penance for the sins of others, but it is not broadminded about sin. Real love involves real hatred: whoever has lost the power of moral indignation and the urge to drive the sellers from temples has also lost a living, fervent love of Truth."

Except for patron, TheCaptainPower, and rationalize_this, all banned forum members are pretty worthless in my opinion. Shotgun Styles definitely wasn't patron or TheCaptainPower.

rationalize_this was apparently a legit guy off the forum. My boy Eros met with him in NYC. Dude was ballin, importing Russian models, had the South Beach - Manhattan rotation lifestyle going for him. Some personalities just don't translate well on the internet I guess.

It wasn't just the suspected trolling with his main forum account, and had multiple troll accounts that got him into trouble.

Roosh cleared it up here.

If a guy really has a great lifestyle going and gets bored just adding value to the forum, it's tempting to start trolling to create some entertainment. Probably a lot of guys who have had positive contributions at times have gotten caught up in this behaviour.

West coast, I think a lot of new guys come on here and feel like they have to prove their metal. So they go and post things like that. Is it trolling? If the info presented is not only legit, but also very helpful, then that could be a good thing.

The Shotgun guy also stated he was black and made a question asking how black guys would fare in ___ place or something along those lines. I'm pretty sure rationalize_this said he was about as white as it gets and compared himself lookswise to a guy who was super white.

Entropy is Mark Manson. If you google his name, his blog will be one of the top hits.

He still writes regularly, but over the years he has moved his content in a direction I cannot follow.

I know, he stopped writing here over a year ago. His old stuff is pretty golden. I don't have to like his recent ventures but the guy is making bank so who can fault him?

I can't really fault him. From the outset, I could always sense that he was very ambitious. Even in his blog posts, he hinted at his desire to constantly expand the breadth of his audience.

It's just that part of me is a little disappointed that he moved on from helping men to becoming more of a life/self-help guru in order to satiate his desire for more.

I don't feel like he sold out, I get the feeling that he simply moved on. He probably didn't want to be constrained as a PUA blogger for the rest of his life and wanted to cover other territory of interest. More power to him. David DeAngelo did the same. Plus the pick up market is way saturated at this point. There's not much left to say that hasn't already been said.
