Don't be so micro-aggressive, you monster you.

To some it's micro-aggression, to me it's life itself.

From the first moment I learned of micro-aggressions, I realized I found my destiny.

I consider it my white male privilege to harden people the fuck up.

Micro-aggression?

I just call people who say that type of stuff douchebags or morons. We don't need a new word for it.

All this will serve to do is to get people to avoid people who are different from themselves....more than they already do.

I can't speak for what goes on in colleges, but I saw this happen in the workplace.

At the dawn of the 1990s, you had a melting pot lunchroom with all sorts of people hanging together. Then came the "seminars." And the rules from the expanding HR dept. Then people started getting reprimanded for doing or saying the wrong things.

By 2009, people were eating at their desks alone. It wasn't worth the hassle: one misplaced word and you're up in the HR office. In a way it was sort of funny, watching the old white-guy managers act like the cops in that scene from "Superbad," tripping all over themselves trying not to offend.

But it was also completely dispiriting having to say things like "partner" instead of wife at meetings. The massive amount of effort you put in trying not to offend really does erode productivity because you can't do much when you fear simple communication.

I don't know. My sister had a doll when we were kids that had been dropped enough that its eyes looked in different directions, like hers.

They are attention seeking misfits, that are slowly becoming the majority.

I was brought up to have manners and be polite to folk, but people like that push it to the limit.

It wouldn't be surprised that they are lying about all those comments just to get victim points. (I think the 10th point gets them some organic kale for free)

The term “microaggression” was used by Columbia professor Derald Sue to refer to “brief and commonplace daily verbal, behavioral, or environmental indignities, whether intentional or unintentional, that communicate hostile, derogatory, or negative racial slights and insults toward people of color.

shouldn't it be micro-racism?

Just wait until 'micro-rape' comes out so white girls can feel included in this latest victim craze.

Come on people.. We shouldn't take any of this shit serious, not in the least. Anyone who feels threatened by the slightest of slights is someone who should have not been born. Seriously, what the hell is wrong with you to feel down over someone calling you Garcia or Rodriguez? Or Dora the Explorer for that matter. What disgusting weak people.

This is exactly why bullying exists. Without bullying, how awful it may be, this kind of whining would have eliminated the human species in ancient times in a heartbeat. Imagine that people facing a sabretooth tiger? “Boohoo don’t bite me!” Life is full of hardship, bad luck, heartbreak, disappointments, bad people, small odds and tons of unfair stuff happening to you for no good reason. On top of that, people you really need, will die on you when you need them the most. Still, life is beautiful and worthwhile.

Grow some stones, stop whining and start living.

They are going massively into debt to learn this crap from their worthless professor. They will find that he has macro-aggressed on them by teaching them nonsense instead of a useful skill.

Here are some micro-expressions I've experienced:

"Okay, but I'm not having sex with you tonight."

"Do you just want sex from me?"

Both when I hadn't brought up sex. Check your assumptions ladies. NAMALT (Not All Men Are Like That)

Ah, the innovations in language that these cultural Marxists bring!

"Microaggression." First heard that last month when some hipster dork talked about "Movember" being wayyciisss and patriarchal.

Looks like this is an actual term in widespread use. Very effeminate passive-aggressive stuff. You can always identify a person's character by the language they use.

When do you think we'll reach the bottom?
