I'm going to be implementing web 2.0 features to my sites/biz in the very near future as I think they do offer some good merits, specially in branding yourself as an authority in your niche and that's huge online.

in my educated and don't really fucking know opinion...I would say 3.0 becuz someone has to be the first and I'm really tired of hearing 2.0...but to me 2.0 was about social content and sharing information and search engine optimization...just feel like the landscape has pivoted to smart phones, location based information/services (groupon-foursquares-gowalla) and mobile commerce/marketing...

3.0 is the 'new' platform. But do we really know what 3.0 really is....it's much too early I think

Nice thread. Happy to see some business talk here on the forum. Youngmo and Lumiere, what type of businesses/websites are you guys putting together? I'm about to break ground on development for a new nightlife website based in SF.
