Cool mom tells her son to sext prior to avoid false rape accusation

So of all places CNN.com has a columnist who just wrote a column encouraging her son, going away to college for the first time, to sext beforehand to help avoid false rape accusation.

Quote:Quote:

"Watch out for the stupid girls," I tell my son. "They are trouble."

It seems nearly every week, we hear news stories about sexual encounters at parties where everyone is drinking -- and a young woman says she was raped, and a young man insists the encounter was consensual.

Never have sex with a girl unless she's sent you a text that proves the sexual relationship is consensual beforehand. And it's a good idea to even follow up any sexual encounter with a tasteful text message saying how you both enjoyed being with one another -- even if you never plan on hooking up again.

Crazy, I know, but I've actually been encouraging my son and his friends to use sexting -- minus the lewd photos -- to protect themselves from being wrongly accused of rape. Because just as damning text messages and Facebook posts helped convict the high-schoolers in Steubenville of rape, technology can also be used to prove innocence.

Of course there's backlash

This is bull crap. Men can drug a female and send a text from her phone giving consent. This is a Loophole for rapist to get away with their crime.

Because once she says yes she may not change her mind later and say no. What a crock of shit.

LOLOLZ!

OTOH, does having a teenage son inject a healthy dose of realism in women that subdues the feminist hamster?

A pre sex text is an unworkable idea in most cases

The post sex text is very important though

It's very solid advice. Enthusiastic consent texts from both before and after are probably the best protection from false rape accusations for guys who find it too much of a hassle to mess with recording every encounter (ie 99+% of guys).

Women always have a healthy dose of realism when it comes to their own interests. It's just that their own interests usually are not aligned with ours. They are rarely deluded about what's really up; it's the white-knights and manginas who don't have a clue.

same old shit, sixes and sevens Shaft...

Indeed - my mother after agrees with me begrudgingly as soon as I involve myself in the picture.

In Abstract she can't.

I talked about this eons ago.

Get the Post-Sex text.

Delete her name.

Screenshot the text with her NUMBER showing.

Email it to a couple of your email accounts.

It does help with false claims; I've had cops and higher level law enforcement agree.

I agree with this, but it is only part of the message- or at least what the message I think should be to young players.

Treat the women that you fuck well and you will avoid a lot of the problems. There was discussion on here a while back when a man fucked a woman in his car that he just met at a bar, and then immediately kicked her back onto the sidewalk and she charged him with rape.

if he had just took her home instead of just dumping her back out onto the sidewalk, he probably would have avoided a rape charge.

I agree with the article saying it's a good idea to sent a text the morning after saying you had a great time etc. But trying to get her consent ahead of time through a text isn't very sexy, in fact, I fear many young guys would just ending up texting some variation of "wanna fuck?" and that can't ever be considered good game.

And if the idea of essentially promising not to falsely charge someone with rape doesn’t kill the mood, Jones says men should follow up with another text afterwards about how you both enjoyed getting naked, even if they don’t want to see the girl again.

Might as well make them sign a “love contract,” a la Chappelle’s Show.

Women: "Consent is sexy"
Men: "Do you want to have sex?"
Women: "Ew, creep! I did until you totally killed the mood."

Joshua Strange will never forget the girl he met in May 2011.

Both were underclassmen at Alabama's Auburn University when a common acquaintance introduced them. "We instantly became attached at the hip and did everything together," she recalled six months later. "I rather quickly moved into his place. . . . Everything was great until pretty much June 29."

That night, an intimate encounter in Mr. Strange's bed went wrong. She called police, who detained him for questioning. She said she had awakened to find him forcing himself on her; he said the sexual activity was consensual and initiated by her. There was no dispute as to the physical acts involved.

The accuser did not press charges that night. In fact, before sunrise she returned to his apartment, and the couple agreed to continue dating. When I asked him why in a recent phone interview, he told me: "I cared about her."

But the relationship soon disintegrated. Phone records show their communications ended in mid-August. In early September he was arrested again after she told police that two days earlier he had confronted her in a public place and struck her. He flatly denied it, saying he was 15 miles away at the time. This time she did press charges, for misdemeanor simple assault as well as for felony forcible sodomy in the June 29 incident.

It just gets uglier from there.

Jesus... that's appalling. I hate safe space people. The girl didn't need to tell her story... because it's painful to tell? So you have no fucking clue about even her side?

That Kelley Taylor woman should be locked up.
