I'm asking this question because I find myself in an environment that is completely in-conducive to cold-approach pickup, and unfortunately, I can't change my situation.
I'm currently 22 and living in Amman, Jordan as a study abroad student to learn Arabic. I've been living in Jordan since September and will be here until June 2014. I can't just move, because I'm here on a scholarship and will be in some serious financial shit if I do.
Cold-approach pickup is tough here. There aren't many bars/clubs to begin with, and a lot of the times these women are guarded by packs of guys. Most clubs actually have a couples only policy, which makes them expensive date venues rather than good places to meet women. It's certainly possible to meet girls out, just expensive and not efficient.
My 'university' is an option, although there are only 200 students here. However, that's still 100 or so women. It seems like social circle game would be the best here, but I'm not really sure what to do. Small house parties at my place?
There's one bar that's quite nice in this city (one night a week) where a lot of expat students go. I've become a regular at this place, and my reputation there (from other students at my university) is that I approach a lot and make out with many girls (at the venue). I've gotten roughly 6 make-outs and 10 numbers from this place, and one bang. Maybe I should be more slick about this stuff and not be seen making out with lots of girls?
There are high class hotel bars etc. that might be nice to pull at, but these places are quite expensive and I'm living on a student's budget. Apparently locals go to the mall to pick up girls. I haven't tried that yet but I could. I just feel frustrated because I've gotten into game within the last year and have seen major success from the resources on this website and Roosh's books, and now I'm in one of the most conservative countries in the world.
(It's technically illegal in Jordan for a girl and guy outside of marriage to be dating, although this isn't really enforced).
