When you get to Ubud, Yoga Barn is pretty popular.

Guys, a question about Jakarta logistics.

I'll be in Jakarta Saturday night from around 6pm, but will have to leave for the airport around 3am Sunday morning. I'll like to party on my last night, but obviously don't want to miss my flight either.

So, I booked a hotel at the Emporium Pluit mall, way up north, closer to the airport than central Jakarta. The idea is to go out to bars, maybe Skye in grand indo or Eastern Promises in kemang, and try to pull a girl by midnight, ideally earlier. However, it takes 30 to 40 minutes from the hotel to kemang even without traffic. With traffic, forget it.

I can probably find a hotel in thamrin or kemang instead. Traffic to the airport at 3am shouldn't be a problem, but theres still risk.

So, guys who know Jakarta, what would you do? Party in the north? Get a hotel in the center or south? Stay up north and party in central/south Jakarta? Skip partying and take it easy?

I can still invite one of the girls instead of going out, but I'm not super excited about seeing her again.

I would not be too worried about the traffic to the airport at 3AM. I used to live in Pejaten(near Kemang) and never had problems going to the Airport at that kind of time. Staying in Kemang or Thamrin would be your best bet. Theres a POP hotel next to EP that's fairly cheap.

3am outside la favela. I stroke out.

Part of being red pill is accepting reality.

The girl I picked up from the same club two nights ago is staying in my hotel. She actually recommended it to me.

Earlier this evening, I came to her room and caressed her, touched her all over, but she said she was tired so I left and went to the club. I ran into her at la favela. Later on, I saw her make out with some tall white guy, then she disappeared, probably getting fucked as I type this. I wasn't that much into her, but it stings. She didn't have sex with me and preferred to get picked up by some random guy.

At la favela, I hit on all available girls. The later it was the shittier it got, too. The girls who had approached me earlier and I didn't like we're with some tall guys later on.

I did my best, including hitting on a girl outside the club as I typed this post. Still, going to my place alone. Got a couple of numbers, but they are almost useless cause I'm leaving soon.

Last night in Bali.

Had a tinder double date with a hot girl, her friend and another rvfer. Her friend and rvfer weren't into each other, but both helped me and the girl to end up at my place, alone. The girl responded well to touches, but wouldn't let me kiss her or touch her more sexually. I tried and tried but no luck, see left after 10pm. She is super hot, too bad I couldn't close.

Another girl from tinder was at a bar near my place, so I went there and texted rvfer to join us. He saw the girls from outside and recognized the other girl he had already banged, so he went to la favela and I followed shortly after with the girls. My girl was rail thin with a funny looking face, a 5, but I thought whatever, I'd make her happy for one night. Danced with her for awhile, but when I asked her to go to my place she declined. It was 1am, so la favela was a sausage fest and packed like hell. I approached another girl but she rejected me in a rude way, so I bounced to jenja. On the way out, I saw the slut I banged from la favela 3 nights ago, going there again to get another new dick. Rvfer ended up getting a repeat bang from the thin girl's hotter friend with a nice rack.

Jenja was much, much better than la favela. 200k entrance this time, but enough to keep the tank top wearing scum away. Both floors were half empty, but enough girls to approach. I talked and danced with two girls on the lower floor. They were polite but didn't want to come to my place. Both were with groups of friends. Then I went to the upper floor and sat next to a girl with a very nice thin body, face kind of cute but a little odd looking. The girl liked me, but her fat friend did everything to block me from taking her home. Nothing seemed to work. I had to be friendly, but was about to lose my patience. Finally my girl managed to convince the fattie to leave us alone. Fattie gave her the motorbike key she had kept in her bag, but at the parking lot we found out it was the wrong key. Fuck that, I just hailed a cab, got back my place with the girl after getting stuck in a 3am traffic jam, banged her twice and hailed a taxi for her at 7am to go to work after a bit of sleep. Very nice girl, I got her number but I'm at the airport already, so never going to text her.

Tonight is my last night in Jakarta.

Interested in hearing your general thoughts on Bali. What did you think of the place overall? Did you get a chance to do much besides chase girls each night?

Enjoyed reading all your updates on Indonesia.

I'm still not sure whether I like Bali or not. I'll probably be back and may even spend a few months there at some point, maybe stay in Ubud, but for a beach vacation, there are much better places out there in Asia and other parts of the world.

This trip was mostly about game, but I did a bit of sightseeing and chilling out in between. Last time, I spent a few days in Ubud as well and really liked it.

For forum members traveling around Asia or living there, I would recommend spending at least a few days in Bali to decide whether or not you like it.

The beaches in Kuta and Saminyak are shit. Garbage everywhere, at least this time of year. The sand and water look pretty bad. It's not even worth trying to swim there, but if you are into surfing, you'll enjoy it a lot more. I know there are better beaches out there on the island, but I didn't get a chance to see them.

Try Balinese massage (I mean the clean kind, not one with happy end, don't know if they even offer it). Can't go wrong for 70-100K for an hour. Helps to get back in shape after a rough night, too.

Traffic is crazy and riding a bike seems dangerous. Unless you are an experienced rider, I would recommend staying within walking distance to the beach, bars and clubs where you want to go and taking a taxi (car or motorbike) if you want to go to other parts of the island. Uber works well, especially to get to/from the airport. Text the driver for specific location. Keep quiet about getting an uber. Uber drivers are afraid of getting into trouble with traditional taxi drivers.

Bali can be pretty cheap or very expensive depending on where you stay, what you eat, how much and where you go out at night. PM me for the name of a centrally located, cheap hotel in Seminyak within a few minutes walk from the beach and bars/clubs. Alternatively, find something on Booking.com for the first night or two, then walk around the area and look for small, cheaper hotels. I haven't tried AirBnb, but it can be a good option, particularly if you travel with friends.

For game, Bali is much harder than Jakarta, but still many times better than Western countries. For online game, tinder is your best bet, but screen very hard for pros.

Venues:

For specific days, check out Beatmag Bali, the article about Bali nightlife from Jakarta 100 Bars website, and Facebook pages of the clubs you are interested in. Generally, Sunday-Monday are quieter and many places are closed, after that it gets better.

Skygarden: shit. Only go there if there's nowhere else to go. Most Indonesian girls who go there are pros or semi-pros. If they sit at the tables bored, almost certainly pros. If you are looking for white tourist girls, there are plenty of them at Skygarden, but you'll be competing against a bunch of Australian bogans.

La Favela. If you go, get there around 11 and try to leave with a girl by midnight. After that, it gets worse. From around 1am, it's total shit. Not only the ratio gets horrible, the place also becomes too packed to get around. It's basically a meat market for foreign guys and indo girls looking for a foreigner, but many white girls go there as well. Not as many pros as in Skygarden, but still some girls may ask for money, so screen for that.

Red Carpet Champagne Bar: over-hyped, expensive drinks, small, not good for game. It's right next to La Favela, so maybe worth checking out if the crowd is good - you can see it from the outside.

A bunch of other bars and restaurants near La Favela. You can just walk by and see the crowd from the street.

Bars on the beach in Seminyak: walk around starting at 5pm, get a beer or dinner and watch the sunset at one of them. Haven't tried gaming there, but it can be better for game than a place like Skygarden or La Favela at 2am, so give it a try if you see a girl you like.

Jenja: the best club in Bali I've been to. Pretty expensive, but drinks are strong. You need to dress up, but wearing a suit would probably be too try hard. Nothing else interesting in that location, so take a taxi there from Seminyak or Kuta, don't look for a hotel nearby.

Alive and well. Made it to the airport for a very early morning flight on time (drunk) after partying last night.

The trip was great. Taking a break from game now, focusing on other things.

Hey Brodiaga

How would you compare jakarta and cebu?
How do you think a guy like me who relies on day game would do?

Excellent reporting from boots on the ground

I have a bit more time now, so here is a comparison of Jakarta, Manila and Cebu. All the three cities are great for game and adventure. I would recommend visiting all of them.

Jakarta

+ The best looking girls available to the average white guy. I can't speak for Middle Eastern, Asian or Black guys from experience, but I've seen all of them pull girls pretty easily as well. Manila is second when it comes to looks of attainable girls, Cebu is a distant third.
+ The best nightlife. They say it's not what it used to be, but it's still fucking insane. Two bad things about nightlife in Jakarta: drinks are expensive (around $10 per drink or more) and clubs and bars are spread out all over the city, so you need to take a taxi everywhere.
+ Relatively inexpensive. I managed to find a nice apartment on AirBnb near Grand Indo for around $30 per night. I was lucky and got a discount, but $40 is definitely doable for a nice apartment with great logistics. A similar place in a similar area in Manila would be much more expensive. In Cebu, the prices are comparable. Everything else in Jakarta, except for alcohol, is cheap as well, at least at the current exchange rate.
+ Jakarta seems much safer than both Manila and Cebu except for places like the Fort and IT Park in these two cities respectively. Look up violent crime statistics in these 3 cities - there is a huge difference. However, I've had some of my stuff stolen in Jakarta, but never in the Philippines.
+ Indo girls seem more responsible than girls in the Phils when it comes to practicing safe sex. All the girls I had on my last trip asked about condoms and would have probably refused sex if I didn't have them or didn't want to use them.
- The worst traffic in the world as rated by experts, and I agree with them 100%. Stay central and consider traffic when planning trips, dates and getting to/from the airport. You can easily get stuck even near your place at a random hour so that even walking would be faster than driving.
- Not only alcohol is expensive, it is not available at most grocery and convenience stores. They used to sell beer and Smirnoff Ice there two years ago, but not anymore. I brought 1 liter of vodka with me and was also lucky to find a convenience store in my building where they sell a very limited selection of beer.
- It is a third world city which is chaotic and inhospitable even compared to other big cities in SEA. In Manila and Cebu, Greenbelt and Ayala shopping malls have nice green spaces and outdoor bar areas, and there are also new, first world-style neighborhoods - Fort Bonifacio and IT Park. I have not seen anything like that in Jakarta. I have never been to any places in Jakarta where I could just relax, grab a beer and enjoy the scenery. The best bars and restaurants are inside high end shopping malls, but once you walk out of there, there is nothing interesting at all. I saw the main tourist sights in Jakarta and didn't like any of the places I visited.
- In many bars and restaurants, even if they are high end, there is something that totally kills the vibe - loud/shitty music, too hot, too bright, or all of the above. The owners and staff just don't seem to get it, don't know how to create a good ambiance. Similar places in the Philippines are much better when it comes to these small details.

Manila

+ Fort Bonifacio is like a little first world country with all the benefits of SEA. Makati near Greenbelt is pretty good as well. I could see myself living in the Fort and enjoying life, maybe even for a few years.
+ No language barrier: many well educated girls who speak excellent English. Street signs, menus, bank documents, even utility bills - all in English.
+ Many attractive and feminine girls looking for a foreigner, though a lot more foreigners than in Jakarta chasing them as well.
+ Many RVFers there - both residents and visitors.
- More violence, feels unsafe outside of the safe zones.
- More expensive than Jakarta and Cebu.
- I didn't like the nightlife based on my limited experience. I've been to Valkerie, Exclusiv, Time, Gramercy and a couple more places. Jakarta clubs are in a different league when it comes to night game.

Cebu

+ Cheap accommodation, food and drinks. Even drinks at clubs are cheap.
+ Smaller city, easy to get around. All the main spots are close to each other.
+ Most of the nightlife is concentrated in Mango Square. Just bounce from one place to another.
+ Ayala mall is very nice, so is IT Park. I can see myself living in IT park or right next to Ayala long term.
+ Bohol is 1.5 hr ferry ride away. Many other nice beaches and nature spots close to Cebu as well.
- Girls are the ugliest compared to Jakarta and Manila. Even moderately attractive girls are difficult to find. Lack of eligible girls on Tinder as well.
- Night game: easy to pull from Mango Square, but the quality is lacking compared to Jakarta or Manila, except for Korean girls, but they seem out of reach for non-Koreans.
- The city feels unsafe outside of Ayala Mall and IT Park. For example, multiple reports of robberies around Mango Square.

What are the hot spots in Jakarta now, Brodiaga?

I didn't visit a lot of clubs and bars this time, but it seems that the best spots from two years ago are still going strong.

General tips:

-Check out Beatmag Jakarta and Jakarta 100 bars for specific days/places/events. Also check out Google and Facebook pages before going to a specific place. Google has a nice feature that shows days and times when the venue is the most popular.
-Read my post on nightlife from 2014 and recent reports.
-Watch out for pros even at the most high end places.
-Don't get too drunk, watch your wallet and phone no matter which club you go to (and pull from).
-If you go to places like Immigrant, Dragonfly, Skye and Cloud, wearing a suit or a blazer is a good idea.

Clubs:

X2 - probably still the best place for an easy pull, but the quality is hit and miss. Bintang beer is much cheaper than mixed drinks and about the same price as water, so if you are on a budget, pre-drink before and order beer at the club.

Dragonfly - totally sucked when I went there on a "Ladies Night" on Wednesday. Haven't been there on weekends this time, so can't comment on that.

Immigrant - the most beautiful girls I've seen in Jakarta. Went there a few hours before my flight, so didn't pull, but it's definitely possible. A lot of white guys there, though, so it may be best to get there earlier on weekends and try to pull before most of them show up.

Iligals - a popular club in North Jakarta, supposed to be good for afterparties. I only went there for a few minutes after going to Dragonfly, so can't comment on it from my experience.

Bars:

Skye - rooftop bar in Grand Indo, good for pre-drinking and getting in the right mood, but very expensive.

Cloud - another good rooftop bar similar to Skye, in the same building with Immigrant.

Eastern Promise in Kemang - didn't make it there, but most of the girls mentioned it as a very popular spot with many expats and girls who are hunting for them.

Immigrant has a lot of beautiful girls but u still need tight game. Try spam approach if nothing works after 2am.

Yeah too bad. Miles also don't have that much bule. But most of the girls are asking for drugs and don't look that good... Just a funny place for fast sex and crazy shit.

Colosseum is supposed to have the best sound system in Jakarta and quite regularly they have decent DJ's playing there. I think Paul van Dyk played there last year. There are few foreigners there, compared to the mainstream clubs in central Jakarta like Immigrant, Dragonfly etc.

Crown is a better alternative to Miles.

There is place around the corner from Mille's, went there with a group of people I had been partying with at Mill's at 6 am. Not a big dance floor but has a great vibe to the place, real friendly and open to 10 am. I will post some pics later.
