Giving up coffee

I drink 1-2 times a week, only if I get low sleep.
Don't see the point of drinking everyday unless you're getting low sleep chronically. In that case you have bigger issues to fix(your lack of sleep).

Coffee is associated with tons of good health indicators. Lower parkinsons, alzheimers, diabetes, obesity, dementia. Coffee is also linked with lower mortality, although we're talking about correlational studies so the positive effects may just be that coffee is linked to employment/busyness/high status, which is linked to health.
From Wikipedia:
The general consensus in the medical community is that moderate regular coffee drinking in healthy individuals is either essentially benign or mildly beneficial. In 2012, the National Institutes of Health–AARP Diet and Health Study analysed the relationship between coffee drinking and mortality. They found that the amount of coffee consumed correlated negatively with risk of death, and that those who drank any coffee lived longer than those who did not.[117] However the authors noted, "whether this was a causal or associational finding cannot be determined from our data."
But, I feel pretty awesome now after almost one month coffee-free. I'm sure I'll go back to drinking coffee on occasion on Dec 1, but I don't think I'll ever get back to a daily habit.
