$180 / Equinox
i mostly use it for the yoga classes, surprisingly, the monthly fee is the same as any yoga studio in NYC, but you get the same instructors.
Clientele is mostly white-collar professionals who for the majority are in good shape

My dads got me covered, our country club offers a deep discount for Aspen Athletic. 4 bucks a month.
Great gym. 6 benches, 4 power racks, shit loads of dumbbells, 2 of those big ass cable set ups, every possible machine you could want if you're into that. A good amount of eye candy as well as a bunch of serious lifters. I love it

I go to a mediocre gym right now, but the previous gym I went to was the University Gym. There were three gyms on campus, all were cool in their own way.
The gym I went to the most was brand new. Three stories, with a swimming pool and a couple of basketball courts, a TRX place, some yoga rooms and a cardio room that all the sorority girls would be using any given day. You walk to the middle of the cardio room to get to a staircase that brings you down to what we called the "Iron Dungeon".
This place was stacked, I don't think I'll ever find a better gym. 10 flat benches, 4 incline benches, 1 decline bench, and 2 90 degree benches for sitting shoulder presses. Those were all for barbell exercises only. For dumbbell stuff, there were 10 adjustable benches, and another 4 benches built for shoulder presses. In total there were 6 squat racks, and 1 smith machine. There were also a plethora of machines. After getting your grind on down there, you would walk back up the stairs to the middle of the cardio room, where all the machines are facing towards that staircase. All the sorostitutes would be eye fucking you, it was great.

Getting raped at Lifetime currently, paying $75 a month. Its the only gym with a full basketball court in my area, so I gotta bear the brunt unfortunately. The facilities are a little better than LA Fitness, but not really enough to justify the cost differential, which is about 40 bucks from my previous plan at LA.
