How to hide your high IQ death sentence?

Intelligence isn't necessarily just an IQ number, how much one analyzes politics and religion, or how good they are at math.

obviously there are a lot of types of intelligence. in popular usage the word intelligence typically refers to the math, logical kind of intelligence. sort of like how people use asian to describe east asians in particular.

do people value the logical kind of intelligence? of course...intelligent people typically get paid well and are "respected."

everyone wants to be thought of as "intelligent" in the math logical way. and it's an insult of they someone thinks you're unintelligent in that way. but logical intelligence has its limits.

social intelligence is more important for relations, including banging and dating girls, making friends. but people who are merely socially intelligent, without logical intelligence (we all know people like this) may struggle financially and have other difficulties in life.

you want a balance of both, as well as other forms of intelligence that help you live a balanced, fulfilling life

I'm posting a lot of his stuff lately, but Nassim Taleb is a brilliant man.
This fits in quite well with this thread, Intelligence vs Wit:

I've always wondered why males with boring professions, even when wealthy, do not attract females as much as artists do: rock stars, painters, & (in Europe) novelists & poets are more "interesting" than mathematicians, engineers, computer scientists, or physicists. Likewise men with flamboyant objects like red Ferraris or colorful clothes attract like a magnet, compared to the more conservative, but stable, plodding accountant. Same with wit compared to intelligence. Is it about the Zahavian showoff with language & artistic prowess? We have been playing with linguistic prowess and cave paintings for tens of thousand of years. Anyway, this metric can be used as a guideline to define true intelligence & relevant subjects: whatever subject is boring & unattractive in a Zahavian way will not be ancestrally fit & will be not natural to society. Painting, wit, music are more NATURAL than abstract mathematics or abstract, not exhibited wealth.

What I take is that intelligence in the sense of IQ tests and SAT scores is not as natural & ancestrally fit as wit, l'ésprit fin.

By not natural I mean not Black-Swan robust, skills we call intelligence because of a certain construction, but that are not needed ecologically. Mate selection has the right heuristics & intuitions --though in the right domain, & in the right domain only (the modern world we've constructed is quite different). So, Is "intelligence" without wit & verbal briliance really intelligence?
(From http://www.fooledbyrandomness.com/notebook.htm )

And no, I have no idea what "Zahavian" means here ...but from a quick search it seems to be the scientific name for
peacocking. Amotz Zahavi apparently is an evolutionary scientist Israel.

I see nothing interesting here at all.

Taleb, himself a hardcore mathematician, is then by his own words not intelligent?

It is a bit tiring this idea that there are so many intelligences, social intelligence, skills being mislabeled as intelligence etc.

Is there any proof, any at all, that social intelligence is not a simple question of proper socialization? Is there any proof of heredetary influence?

Women, and what they respond to, is not a measuring stick of intelligence any more than a red steak is a better training tool for dogs than a shock collar.

And where does this idea that high IQ people don't master language come from? I guarantee you that there is a direct correlation between language skills and IQ. How many low IQ people do you know who can write prose or million dollar ads?

Verbal ability is something entirely different, in fact has little to do with language, more with body language, confidence, tone depth and musicality. I would say that this musicality is one of the only well established other kind of intelligence, but even here, there is definitely a hierachy in music as well.
