Did a quick 3 day blitz of Helsinki. Writing this from the ferry to Tallinn now.
Helsinki has a sleepy feel for a capital city. Not that many people to be seen downtown, even during rush hour. Although I'm sure being here in late October has something to do with it.
I didn't want to spring $90+ per night for an airbnb room. This city might be cheap for Scandenavia, but still expensive as fuck for an American. Stayed at a hostel on uunndenmenkatu for $30.
The girls:
90% feminists
60% hipsters
50% uglies
33% fatties
7% cute blondes
1% smoking hot dime pieces
Basically, not worth it.
Personality wise, It only got worse. Helsinks reminded me of Icelanders. ie. not friendly at all. I interacted with dozens of locals during my 3 days. Though I didnt pull the ONS in Helsinki due to a stupid mistake, club game felt easy here. Daygame on the other hand, was a slog through major bitch shields. In Scandenavia, daygame and club game difficulty are reversed.
Unless my club girl sends me lingerie pics (ie. guarantee of sex), I will not come back to Helsinki. I will still visit Stockholm & Oslo at some point, in the hopes that one if them will be friendlier.
