Domestic Violence Awareness Month

Accorting to their website, 1 in 3 women experience domestic violence in their lifetime. Sounds as crazy as that rape percentage ive seen thrown around here.

Maybe if you define the husband forgetting to take out the trash as domestic violence, I can see it approaching 1 in 3.

Yeah, just another of those nonsense numbers that get thrown around. It would all be in good clean fun if they didn't then make laws based on these crazy lies...

I know some things about "studies" and these nonsense numbers and one day I'll do a longer post on this.

same old shit, sixes and sevens Shaft...

Domestic violence has lost all meaning, just as rape has. Any 'abusive' behavior gets lumped in under the term domestic violence:

Quote:Quote:

Domestic violence may include not only the intimate partner relationships of spousal, live-in partners and dating relationships, also familial, elder and child abuse may be present in a violent home. Abuse generally falls into one or more of the following categories: physical battering, sexual assault and emotional or psychological abuse, and generally escalates over a period of time.

Basically, you hurt a woman's feelings, and she's a victim of domestic violence.

This is an outrage!

That means 2 in 3 women are not getting the dominance they crave.
