Japan doesn't bang

^^^^Sounds like the simple truth to me. If people want social security, then they have to contribute to society with well raised children, and with productive work and savings.

Society fails when too many precious snowflakes deny this and demand everyone around them deny it too for the sake of their feeelings.

Japan's population is 126 million, tightly packed in an archipelago where a lot of the land is mountainous terrain. The country has been overpopulated, they could go on and thrive with a population of 60M-80M.

^ Truth. The elite is concerned about declining populations because it hurts "economic growth", which is a euphemism for the shafting of the middle class while they run off with all the fucking money an power.

Nature always comes up with interesting ways to balance out the population.

Nature's natural response to there being way too many people all over the place there and not to mention how much of the male population there is addicted to the internet and video games? Japan's youth are the biggest part in a society consumed by their technology even more than us it seems. You see these American boys over here that just care about their video games and many of them are content being like this, not a day has been spent trying to change their look or anything. Weird.

Well, in their case, it's a euphemism for "We're gonna have a shit ton of old people to support and not enough economic activity to do it."
I would not want to be a childless man in his late 50s in Japan right now.

^Nah that's nonsense. The average Japanese works like 14 hours a day. The least the oligarchs over there can do is give em a decent retirement.

https://asia.nikkei.com/Spotlight/Japan-...ill-passes Coming to one of the most homogenous countries in the world.... Perhaps its smart as fertility rates are extremely low in Japan and the population will fall off a cliff in the next few decades. Im interested to see how much more automatedJapanese society will become as well.

Ultimately, we should care more about being effective than simply nobly intentioned. It is not enough to dream well: the true measure is what we achieve.

Social security simply means keeping what is already yours.

Japan also has a weird macroeconomic situation - their debt to GDP ratio is over 200% as their Central Bank keeps printing yen and buying up various assets around the country. I wonder if they will ever have a financial crisis or can keep doing this to infinity.

Italy's economy is widely seen as a walking corpse. Yet, look at Japan's debt to GDP ratio.
