Check out Sunrise Mart on Stuyvesant St. There are two others in Manhattan, but it's basically a Japanese restaurant and supermarket combined into one. They make fresh bento boxes if you ever need to get a reasonable meal.

Ok so I hit Pouring Ribbons with the chick I met in Montauk it was nice start up drink place. We ended up going to a second venue with a cool little funk band. It was packed with finance dudes and there was little extra standing room. I went for a kiss in the second bar she denied and said she doesn't like to makeout in public. Then I playfully tried to dance with her because the music was that good and we were buzzed, icy response. The place was loud enough we couldn't have decent conversation. I tried to get her to take a shot, but she wouldn't since it was a work night for her

She was sort of a wet blanket and it lead to my bad game, I wasn't willing to break the horse so to speak and put with with 2 hours straight of no fun. Her somber attitude got on my nerves. At the end we were 1 block from her place I offered to walk her home she said no it's fine then kissed me twice good bye.

Second night I was there I used Tinder to meet a 28yo Asian chick high 6. Does ballet every week and cardio boxing so has the body of a 19yo. We met Highlands in the West Village. Too packed, went to a couple dive bars, then went to some weird bar with a second large loungy, dance DJ room. Crowd was half black. Strange but fun atmosphere. We were the only ones dancing and grinding. Red velvet couches and carpet and chandeliers.

An enormous black man was video taping us grinding with his phone. On 2 distinct occasions. I didn't tell my chick because I knew the bang was in the bag once I said I had a hotel room to myself and I didn't want to ruin the vibe, so I didn't even confront the guy. Got her in a cab back to the UWS hotel. Got naked, she passes out. I patiently wait until 6AM for her to wake up and get the bang.

Morals of the story. NYC logistics are great you just need to most likely live in Greenwich Village or Little Italy or some central place on the lower half of the island. My universal response to being on the UWS was to try to meet in the middle for the most part.

All chicks have roommates even those with fancy jobs. Does this affect game?

Tinder here is amazing compared to Orange County and Santa Barbara for the pure fact so many chicks are a subway ride away. If I Tindered all weekend I could have set up 10 dates with attractive young girls. The sheer numbers alone guarantee success. It takes any magic out of the equation when looking at things like Soup's 60+ bangs in a year using a ton of online game. It is all about the $ and stamina to go out every night to knock em out.

One thing I noticed between these 2 Manhattan chicks (both from the LES) was the sort of soullessness. Seems their life is work work work, workout, brunch, drink and late night dinners. Not really much family time, or outdoors time.

They have a lost innocence that is extremely stark and in your face. Couldn't begin to imagine wifing up one of the chicks.

What kinda sweet little chick could put up with living in NYC? The place drains you a bit.

The outer bourough chicks I met seemed more like GF material.

Looking at NYC as a place to move I think I would have to be making $90k to not sweat, $100k+ to enjoy.

One who wants to start or further their career. The island is a popular spot for recent graduates, even with the rising costs and income disparity. Your description is spot-on.

After mulling this over and thinking about it.

My gut says NYC would be a great place to rent a pad and spend 1 month a year going out all the time and just ripping through 10 chicks.

Otherwise unless it is a $ opportunity I think my future lies elsewhere and all roads lead to location independence.

The only places left in the U.S. I am curious about are Dallas, Austin, and Minneapolis.

I just wish L.A. had less traffic and great public transportation. It would then be heaven on earth.

I wish there was a city that screamed at me to move to. I wish S.B. was 500k people I'd never think twice about leaving for a bigger place.
