Can you actually get drunk off beer?

I'm 1,86 m and 85 kg. After having regular dinner, and going out, I can't even get drunk after three beers.

While if I have an empty stomach, meaning having no dinner, and then drinking, I will get drunk after one beer.

Is it because I'm taller I have to drink more beer to get drunk? After how many 50 cl do you guys get drunk?

I'm four inches shorter and 25 pounds lighter and experience the same thing pretty much.
It takes four with a meal for me to start feeling it. Empty stomach though? Instant buzz.

Gross, don't drink beer. It lowers testosterone and increases estrogen.

You can't get drunk because you're only drinking 3 beers...

Just have 12 shots of scotch and/or vodka instead

Funny thing, beer really works like on me: 2-3 beers and I'm drunk and also have a hangover. 200ml of vodka, whiskey and I'm "loose" at best and hardly have a hangover. Weird.

I'm a 2 beer queer. All it takes for me to get buzzed are two dark beers.

Alcohol and me don't mix really well. Never have, and my tolerance seems to lessen with age. I like being a cheap date.

Beer and wine are my gotos. I avoid hard liquors at all costs unless i'm chasing it with pickle juice.

Australians must really drink a lot... Nearly all of my friends that drink will consume somewhere between half a bottle/carton at minimum... Some of them will just about make it through 2

A six pack is needed to have a hard buzz.
I piss a lot when I drink beer....I claim that the constant dropping of liquid stops me from getting drunk.
That's why I'm a straight vodka drinker

I am the cock carousel

Depends what kind of beer.

If I'm drinking one of my favorites, River Horse Tripel Horse (10% ABV), I'll be drunk off three beers easily.

Very high alcohol content craft beers will make you drunk after just a few.

If we're talking about typical beers of around 5% ABV, a six pack will get me somewhat drunk.

In Canada it's not uncommon to go threw 24 beers in one night. I need 6 tall boys (10 cans) to get me a hard buzz and get me tipsy, anything past that gets me drunk.

Drink IPAs, Ales, and stouts that have higher ABV%s. I've seen stouts at 9% and IPAs higher at 12%.

We have some pretty awesome boutique IPAs around here. Definitely agreed with this sentiment

I'm starting to hate drinking beer. Most of the days I will have a normal meal and after that I can't even get drunk after 3 big beers. I'm saying this because I'm starting to form a small beer belly. I'm thinking about taking one beer and than going vodka shots until drunk.
