Your responses on this topic reminded me of the article that someone posted on the forum recently. The concept of systems vs. goals/dreams is apt for application in LTRs and marriage. I had a forum member PM me several months ago asking for advice on locking down a good girl and avoiding infidelity. A lot of what I told him had more to do with environment than frame. Honestly, if you are "acting" alpha, you will, within an LTR, slip up and lose that frame. No guy is able to "act" alpha all the time. There is an argument to be made that a true alpha would most likely not be in an LTR, but that's for another time.

As goes cheating, environment is going to play a huge role. It may end up being the determinative factor. For a real world example, I cite a few friends of mine. Affluent prep school types. Married and now moved on to a hobby farm in the middle of nowhere in New Hampshire. They almost never leave and grow most of their own food. Despite the fact that the wife rode the carousel, do you know what odds I put on her cheating on her husband? Pretty low. Why? Because they live on a farm in the middle of fucking nowhere. One area that he only tangentially touched on was that large cities are cesspools of infidelity. It isn't that cheating is non-existent in small towns, but there is a notable difference.

The concept of domain or environment isn't discussed enough when dealing with the very serious topics of LTRs and your wife/girlfriend cheating on you.

I don't agree with fighting the guy, he didn't do anything wrong (as long as he didn't know she had a boyfriend - and he had persisted in his approach regardless of this...but you can't know this immediately anyway). What you could do is tell the guy never to speak to or touch the girl again (and if he does, he'd get a proper beating). You don't want to just let some guy cuck you with your chick on and on.
