The PT/Physiotherapy Health App (created by yours truly)

Hey guys,

I'm really excited to have just released the prototype of my app which I have been working on for about a year now. Essentially this app aims to accurately diagnose injuries and prescribe appropriate exercises and/or advice.

I am currently in the user-testing phase and want to get as much feedback as possible.

Basically I have only uploaded one segment from the branch within the algorithm. I want you to pretend you have an injured knee, and go through the website with that mindset.

Right now I am only refining the user-flow and basically testing my assumptions that people care about self-diagnosing themselves! This is an app for phones so it would be preferential to go through it using your phones, but if you find laptop/desktop easier - no worries.

Please don't hold back on your criticisms.

Here is the site - www.wisebones.com

Following completion of the app (it will say YOUR DIAGNOSIS IS...) - if you could complete the feedback form at www.wisebones.com/form that would be awesome. Any further questions or comments - feel free to post in this thread.

I would especially appreciate all the guys who I have helped in the past with their injuries to take a bit of time out to help me jump-start my business.

Looking forward to hearing what you boys think!

Many Thanks,

Prophylaxis

PS - I will also continue to be active in the RooshV PT/Physiotherapy thread - so if you have any injuries, please post them here

There is no much to say since you have only uploaded a small part of it.
Basically the app will do all of the work? You wont be taking personal messages from people like you do on your thread?
Lets be honest people are stupid, if you give them just the option of yes and no, they will end up with an incorrect self-diagnosis.
Im not a doctor but arent there many more possible diagnosis rather than cartilage damage and nerve damage? What if i bumped into something or if i fell? I hope this doesnt offend you, but i wouldnt pay for an app if it is just gonna tell me to go see a doctor.
Good luck i think your idea has a lot of potential

PROPHYLAXIS is the man.

I had some pain awhile back. i made a thread about it here.

While i appreciate all the people that took their generous time to write a response....PROPHYLAXIS advice both on the thread and through PM was absolutely right on point.

Everything he told was absolutely confirmed by my chiropractor...i perform the range of exercise that Prophylaxis adviced on a daily basis. The results? My pain is almost completely gone. I can jump around, run, and kick now. I have significantly improve and in much better health.

FANTASTIC!!

I cannot recommend the lad enough. He is a good bloke and knows his stuff.

two thumbs up, all the way.

I will definitely will do my best to help him jumpstart his business any which way i can. My health is the most vital thing--health is wealth. The man that helps me with mine is a solid in my book.

Sincerely,

Nemencine

.
A year from now you will wish you had started today.....May fortune favours the bold.

hey dog24,

Thanks so much for the feedback.

To answer your question - this is not a substitute for seeing a doctor - rather a supplement. A second-opinion for the most common musculoskeletal injuries.

My business will more than likely make the app free to use ,as we are aiming to generate a large user-database.

Cheers,

Prophylaxis

My guess is most people would use an app like this instead of going to the doctor, which almost anyone i know avoids if the problem is just something minor, that can be fixed with for example physiotherapy.
Like nemencine said you have helped many guys on your thread, if you could set up something like that it could be profitable.
But then again i dont know why you would want a large database and its not really my business, i hope that helped.

Hey guys,

I have recently created a launch page for my app- http://www.wisebones.com - if you interested at all in having an app that can tell you what injury you may have, it might be worth subscribing =)

I will start an indiegogo campaign shortly to raise some money for further development. Filming will start in a couple days!

As it is still in the prototype stage, any injuries in the meantime continue to post here and I'll do my best to respond quickly.

Cheers,

Prophylaxis
