Check out the newly designed rooshv.com.

It's similar in structure to the old design, but much cleaner with better readability. It will also display better in mobile/tablet.

I wouldn't mind improving the "Roosh V" text to match the aviation theme (kind of like Top Gun). If anyone wants to take a stab at it, hit me up via PM and I can send you the original PSD file.

Looks good - simple, clean and tidy.

Maybe throw some aviator goggles onto the Roosh head and some hands holding a steering wheel or something

EDIT: Noticed something a little odd...

Looks really nice and clean Roosh. Great job and I hope it stays this way.

Clean, light, and no clutter. Good. I'm sure it'll be easier to gain new readers with this site.

Although, you kept the previous design for so long by late 2012 it went from 'outdated' to 'retro'.

It's very clean.... to the point of being.... I don't know, too clean? I'm biased because I didn't see any flaws with the old design. It looks nice, but I wish the width of the post column were a bit greater. It's very narrow, so each line ends up quite short. It's a bit tiring on the eyes, IMO.

Nice. But it's a pain in the arse to scroll on the homepage and having to see the post in it's entirety, just to get to the next post.

Could you put a character limit or preview mode for posts on the front page?

Yes I am considering this.

It's already enabled on the category pages: http://www.rooshv.com/category/culture

I like the typography and the overall clean design but the header doesn't look that good to be honest.

Why don't you just use 99designs for the logo/header? I've seen you use them for ebook covers before.

Here's how the front page would look with excerpts instead of full posts:

Yay or nay?

I like excerpts, but would like the excerpts to be 50% longer.

Much improved readability. I really like the clean design with more white space.

I think the first post should be full length and the focal point of the page. Then have the following post be excerpts but slightly longer than what you have right now at http://www.cableboy.net/rv/

I would like the font size to be 1 point bigger but that is just my personal preference.

You don't have a place to sign up for the newsletter yet in the top sidebar but I am guessing that is coming? I think you should maybe promote "game tips and blog updates." People would appreciate an email each time you update the blog.

I like the idea behind the header but no the execution. I would take the advice already given and hire 99designs or someone similar to come up with a better design.

Overall I really like the changes.

I have to be honest and admit that I didn't read a lot of post because of the old theme (didn't really appeal to me).

This one is way better, looks more organized and the the blue color doesn't scream at your face.

White and beige are more welcoming and make it easier to read.

I think it looks great. Very neat.

I find the titles for the posts to be too big though.

Not sure if it's just been updated, but there's definitely a sign up form on my screen in the "Game Tips Newsletter" box

I do NOT see a sign up box on Chrome or Safari.

I do see a sign up box on Firefox.

Could be adblock or something? That's kind of odd. Definitely something that should be addressed

I wonder if adblock has aweber on their blacklist. Can you take a screenshot of what you see so I can begin to problem solve?

I'm using chrome running adblock on a windows machine and it's showing up. I would have thought it would be the same blacklist across all systems
