OK, going back to EE. I'll only be there 7 days, so I'm not sure if I want to hit two cities or stay in one.

More oriented towards out of the way places like Minsk or Lviv.
I'm 40's looking and like way younger smart chicks. I'm more interested in trying to check out my value there
for LTR, as I am going to retire early in about a year there.

I like the fact Belarus still has a nutcase dictator and I think it discourages a lot of people from going there so I might want to try that, and then maybe Lviv (Western Ukraine) or the mountains of South Poland?

I've had a bunch of chicks write me from Lugansk (Eastern Ukraine) from a post I put on a dating site, but you never know if they're for real.

I NEVER had a bad time in EE, even being awkward, average height and shy. Thank god for Slavic chicks. I never realized American women aren't women until I got there.

LaVinci, thanks or appreciating my post and your idea about secondary academic cities. I'm a PhD and it buys me little respect here in the USA, I think in the right college town there I would be quite an exotic curiousity. I didn't go to a high-status Ivy League school here, so I'm not in with the real elite-- those who get research jobs at Universities.

Any ideas for best city for cultured chicks? Since my intentions are actually quite "honorable" I can afford time and honesty
in going after the highest level chicks. Suggestions on setting up meetings before going? 7 days is not long.

Other ideas for EE "smart-girl cities":

1) Novosibirsk -- A whole academic sub-city called something like academic gorod. Also, it's way out in Siberia, FEW westerners there, possible to marry a smart 9-10. Too far out for a 7 day trip though. I already lived in Northern Minnesota, I'm not scared of the cold. Women become very, VERY nice in super cold climates; if the place isn't flooded with men like Alaska.

2) St Pete-- Exceptional ballet, and I've written a screenplay based around a ballet troupe. It's JUST COINCIDENCE that I adore ballet dancers. They actually do have a reputation for being dumb however. Who f(*&ing cares. They have to retire young enough too so you can marry one before she loses the awesome beauty.

Ukraine, I don't know what are the academic cities besides Kiev.

Is not knowing the local lingo a biggie over there? Can you get away with english? Perhaps only with the educated ones?

or hugging them too much! One Russian guy tried to warn me off Russian chicks, said they "Say one thing, think another, then do a third." Haha!!

But as far as fathers go, I have to say the three girlfriends I had had totally nice fathers-- stand-up, hard working even when they were making shit for pay. One a doctor, one a welder, one an engineer.

And the biggest thing: war of the sexes just hasn't seemed to take hold there. Sure they might try to use you, get over on you, but it's cause they might be greedy, not cause you're a guy.

I read an interiew with one Russian woman and she said she thought feminists were funny " We're in this together with our men." she said.

What's bizarre is that sounded bizarre to me.

Out of the three I knew: 1- Upper class girl was intermediate level, 2- middle class girl was elementary level. 3-working class girl was a specialist and high achiever in languages, had almost won a national competition in English and was about as fluent as you can get without native speakers to talk to all the time.

If someone has good underlying intelligence ( IQ about 115 and up, under that she'll be too boring) , you like each other when you meet, and you hang out a few hours a day, you'll each progress very fast in just a few days in each other's languages. If she doesn't want to learn English, she's either too well set where she is or too dumb, why bother.

I think knowing and at least trying to use someone's language is very important symbolically as well as practically. One Russian I dated really knew almost no English and talking through a dictionary brought things to a standstill.

But just knowing about 5-10 basic verbs can help a huge amount: Want, Like, Go, Need, Say, Remember.....then you can get a sentence going and look up nouns-- I know I'm talking survival level here..

There are something very difficult called 'cases" in Russia, I don't even understand what they are, something like when "I GIVE JOHN THE BOOK" the word "GIVE" is different from use in the sentence "I GIVE YOU THE BOOK" . You'll never get that stuff unless you spend thousands of hours studying, but if you just know one form of a verb, people [usually] can understand you and realize you're not dumb, you're just not a good/native speaker.

So you can say "Minye ravitze.." ( I like ) then look up "Grape Juice" or whatever... That would take maybe 15 seconds as opposed to a whole minute if you don't know how to say " I like".

Another last-ditch coping technique is to carry a small pocket dictionary-- choose wisely, look through it to see if you can find what you want--
and then as you talk with them using it occasionally, and you learn new words, write them down in the back.

So once you learn how to say "What's that?" ( Shtoya tah?"), point at something you need to name, and they say a train is <whatever>, you open up your book and write it down.

This is painful, emergency catch-up, but it's better than trying to turn an entitled, paranoid-about-men American b*tch into a feminine person.

My last American girlfriend actually said this: " 80% of what men say is lies, the problem is figuring out which 80%." And it was only.. half-jokingly.. more like 1/4 jokingly.

With that as a starting point, there's not much you can do.

Just my RAFC opinion. A younger guy with better game, especially if taller, and with more time to waste could do way better.

Another thing I just thought of is that foreign chick game is longer lasting: As I aged from 35 to 45, my value PLUMMETED among say, American 25 year olds. You think it won't happen to you, but it probably will unless you're making 200k+.

Early 20's Russian chicks had no problem with me being 45 except for the real party girls who were all about image.

Well, not sure about how much I "know", but I definitely love Russian Girls, and they seem to like, or at least tolerate me.

I've defintely posted a bit about EE/Russia, been about 5 times totaling about 6 weeks. Feel free to ask questions, I'm hard to shut up once my brain such as it is gets going.

3)Prague about 2004, with Ukranian GF (pic attached, too bad you're missing the huge brown eyes, 1/8th Gypsy) less than half my age who insisted I have sex with her because 20 was too old to be a virgin. I actually had enough game to argue a bit, might have been able to prolong had I better game. I actually went through with bringing her here on a fiancee visa when I lived in Minneapolis she got homesick? didn't like my non-rich lifestyle?-- I don't know. Wow looking at this picture I'm bummed we broke up. But I tell you, even though she decided not to marry me, she was so tactful and respectful about it-- none of this shaming "creep" crap USA girls tend towards-- I really didn't feel humiliated, just that it was some bad luck.
