I don't see the big deal.
People post data sheets all the time....that are often just as good(sometimes the Best)....should they charge or post on there own blog as well? But wait then whats the purpose of a travel thread in the first place. That being said new bangs books with updates would be ok idea.
Seriously I find it funny that the guys who want the private thread arecsaying base it on rep points and they just coincidently have lots of rep points.
That being said it's a known fact that people get rep points for saying popular things , Not because of contributions all the time. Example, Deb had a load of rep points because he said how easy and slutty all the girls were....but evidence shows otherwise. Some guys who say the truth don't get love....afterall who wants to hear the sky is falling.
Dash and Mixx also had loads of posts and rep points.....do we give them the key to the city?
I would pay for a book...a book is good fun. A datasheet is not worth much IMHO. It's subjective and old news 2 months later.
