It probably would better to go to Brazil now. Before the Olympics ruin the women.

Olympics will be the 2nd attempt to kill off Rio.

But the World Cup will likely make some things worse in host cities though.

It's a good thing English levels are non-existent outside of Sampa/Rio because that will keep the thirsty sex tourists away from tier 2-3 locations in future.

I'm not sure to what extent Brazil is getting worse over time due to the spread of western culture, but I can guarantee these effects are greatly decreased or almost non existent in second and third tier Brazilian cities.

I can't speak for the entire country, except for my home state of MG. Belo Horizonte is a first tier city but as you guys already know it falls behind Sao Paulo and Rio in terms of Gringo and overall Western exposure so the culture isn't as affected there.

If you go out to the second tier cities of the state though, places are an absolute gold mine, and if you are a gringo, you can do seriously well. I'm not speaking from experience because of my limited time as an adult in these places, but solely the fact that I see very attractive girls with busted dudes often should tell you something.

Think of places in MG such as Valadares, Uberlandia, Uberaba..

The only downside is lacking some of the top notch first world infrastructure the big cities have.

Could be a fantastic adventure though if you got to live in these places for 6 months while working/maintaining an online biz, and in your spare time mastering the language and building up a social circle and meeting the local girls.

Also, a city that might be worth looking into is Porto Alegre in the south. It's a big city as well behind the top 3, but it's deep in the south away from the spotlight parts of the country in a colder area close to Argentina. Girls are stunning though and have been known to sometimes be the best in the country. People are incredibly friendly as well. Every Gaucho I have met has a very friendly vibe and a spring in their step.

^^ You're extremely dead on. Language barrier might be an issue for many gringos, but I find mineiros and gauchos to be very friendly with some hot ass women too.

Haven't been to Moscow yet but numerous times to Sampa and I will just say this: I dont think there's a city on this planet which can compete with the MASSIVE nightlife options that this humongous city offers. You could hit a new place every night of the week non stop for six straight months and you wouldn't be even scratching the surface of it.

Moscow might be one of the most expensive cities but Sampa is far from being cheap. It's quiet common to pay 200 , 300 up to 500 Reais entrance into a club....the talent in the high end places in SP is among the highest anywhere in the world.

Another positive point for SP is the variety of thet types of girls there, from brunettes to blondes to mulatas to blacks not to forget the Japas, the Japanese Brazilian girls which are stunning. The high end talent in SP can compete with Moscows IMO. It's that high!

Weather is of course better in SP as its warm most of the year with the exception of winter (June-aug) but nowhere near as cold as in Moscow.

Language wise Portuguese is easier to learn than Russian.

All in all, I'd say both are world class cities with fantastic women, among the very best anywhere. If you want variety and warm weather, unmatched nightlife every night if the week, with amazing beaches and sights, incredible parties and events year round like Carnaval then SP will keep you busy and very happy for 10 lifetimes easily.

Don't get me wrong I am in no way or shape or form dissing Moscow. I am very much looking forward to visiting in the very near future. I realize I may be biased as Brazil is my favorite playground and I'm Brazilian by heart but I am also a big fan of those stunning Ruskies.

All good points, but as Bacchus said, the average in Moscow is substantially higher than SP. For example, take the Moscow metro and in the end you'll have a sore neck from looking at all the talent. Sadly you can't say the same about the SP metro. In SP, the high end girls are just a small percentage of the population. And this means that the paulistanas in the 7-9 range will have considerably more attitude than their Moscovite counterparts. I spent only a few days in Moscow last year, but I got the impression that it takes a lot more more work to bang an 8 in SP than it does in Moscow.

As for the entry prices in nightclubs. If you want the top tier in SP, be prepared to spend at least BRL 250 in a night out these days (around USD 100). In Moscow you're in for free (assuming you got past face control), although you'll find yourself paying drinks to the girls very often there. So I would say in the end SP nightlife is slightly more expensive.

Rumors of Brasil's imminent demise as a PP are exaggerated. I noticed right away that women in SP who had spent time in the U.S. were more difficult, shall we say. That said, for every garota in Sampa that has spent time in the U.S., there are probably five or ten who haven't. The way the dating market is skewed there, if any of them want to be a pain in the ass, the door is that way~~~~~~~~>

I can't wait to live in a city where women are women, staying in shape is a priority and girls asses have seen squat racks 3-5 times a week, and sex is something to be enjoyed and not a tool for manipulation. And I'm going to have a riot in the second and third tier cities whenever I want. I'll be dead or too old to have sex before the demise of Brasil matters to me. I like it, and I'm going to like it for awhile.

I understand the allure of Russian women, and more power to anyone who wants to bang his way from Moscow to St. Petersburg. I wouldn't want to live in a place where it's too cold to do anything outside for 6-8 months a year. Sampa works for me, and when it doesn't, I'll find some other place in Brasil.

Despite the strong influence of Western culture, Brazilian girls still understand the importance of being feminine. They feel better, more guys are into them, and they want to attract the highest quality guys they possibly can. Contrast that to the average Western girl who thinks just by being herself she should get a top quality guy.

Girls in Brazil greatly value long hair and thinness, and taking care of their body as a whole. There is a huge pressure from the media to match to the standards of Rio beach girls and models.

It's not uncommon as well to see women 40 and up in Brazil looking fantastic sometimes. Some of these put many if not most 25 year olds up here to shame.

Had my stay in Rio not been with a someone from the past who was on the verge of turning crazy feminazi (via Canadian influence), I probably would've seen more talent in Rio.

But...my overall Brazilian experiences would indicate that Mineiras set the "standard" for female excellence in the country...

I can't complain about the mineiras.

Hit up Chalezinho on a busy night and you'll some of the best talent you've seen in your life.

Mineiras also really value the traditional relationship. Not uncommon to see them in long term relationships (with less attractive guys), where the guys seemingly break every north american rule of dating but pull it off well with these girls.

Here's my humble opinion.

Yes, sampa has a lot of options, parties, restaurants and types of girls. However, 7s or more are just a tiny percentage and, as sampa is a very, hm, "work-like-hell city", there are much more men than women, so all these 7s and above are being hit quite often. Despite some specific sertanejos clubs, usually the M/F rate is at least 60%/40% in almost any club.

As result, there are a lot of bitchy women everywhere. It is VERY different from second tier cities, where women are more friendly. BH for instance, the girls are much more friendly than here. However, if you are a gringo, girls will be way nicer (in sampa I mean)

Never been to Moscow, but I met a lot of Russians In Canada and, honestly, for higher quality girls, Moscow will be a blast. São Paulo has some very unique girls, but they are rare as Diamonds. For example, some "brazilian-japanese" girls are the ones who you will never see anywhere in the world and yeah, they are absolutely stunning.

I'm from the south and it was curious when I met the paulistanos. For them, the best girls in Brazil are from everywhere but sampa. They say cariocas are hot, gauchas/sulistas gorgeous, goianas and mineiras friendly and beautiful, amazonenses very hot and crazy for sexy etc. But they always complain about the paulistanas. Also, girls from here are very similar to US girls, very westernized girls, that also, work is in the first place.

At least a lot of people here speak English, specially in pubs and some clubs.

Your whole post rings very true.

The clubs with the better ratios here are the ones where there's a huge difference in cover fee for men and women. There's a club near where I live where I go often, girls get in for free and guys pay BRL 150 "consumacao" (i.e., money that can be used for drinks inside the venue). It usually has a 40/60 ratio, sometimes 30/70. There's also some clubs with a stricter door policy like the sertanejos you mentioned, but even then lately they haven't been able to control the ratios. They're becoming an expensive sausage fest.

Compare that to Moscow. I'll always remember the first time I went out there, I was chatting up this 7 in front of me on the line of Gipsy Club. Then we get to the door, she first, and she gets denied entry (not good looking enough). I get in (for free). And then I enter the venue, there are more girls than guys, most girls are stunning, and the guys simply don't approach. In SP, the guys approach like machines after 1AM.

There's no contest IMO. Moscow nightlife is simply tailor-made for men.

^^^ Interesting stuff both Ox/Shotgun. By the way, which venues have the better ratios & what are good spots for house music or samba variety bands with cute high end chicks?

Not a fan of sertanejo for reasons mentioned above (high priced sausage fests, bitchy attitudes, the music genre itself....from my experience).

Club A has a good ratio on Saturdays. It's the club I referred to in my post. It plays house music. Crowd age varies from 25 to 40, so also expect to see quite a few cougars there. It's the one on the Sheraton Hotel at Berrini, not to be confused with the namesake in Moema.

Another club with consistently good ratios is She Rocks. It plays live rock music with house music in between the shows.

I don't go to Samba gigs so can't comment on that.

Ah ok thanks! I was just wondering because at least in Belo Horizonte Chalezinho had Samba nights (Saturdays) whereas others were either sertanejo or house music. What about Carribbean Disco Club in Sampa?

I remember them having one in Curitiba (got sick & didn't go though).

Caribbean Disco is not good. Plays house music I think, but the crowd is very young (mostly kids under 20). It used to be called Happy News by the way.

I prefer speaking nothing but Portuguese in Brazil, but that tidbit you mentioned in bold means I should always open chicks with English in Sampa? I think that would be my prospective strategy

First you should give a try. If you feel that speaking in English is worse than Portuguese (in terms of female response), so adapt your game accordingly

Brazil is crazy because you are going to find some girls that "love" telling bad things about Brazil. Brazilians in general think that here is the only place in the world that has problems. Like, they think here is the only place where corruption, bribes and bad politicians exists. This is a common cultural problem.

I found a lot of donkey bitches where they love to say "Brazil sucks blabla" and say "US is cool, Europe is awesome duh". You can game this kind of girl very easily if you are a gringo. So that's the reason some girls will love to speak in English. They want to look cool talking bad things about here. So, you have a huge advantage in these situations [Image: smile.gif]
