The Costco Thread: What Do You Buy At Costco?

As a car salesmen, use the Costco sales program to buy a car, it's lower and easier than what most dealerships do on their own.

60 pack eggs
10 pounds chicken breasts frozen for 22.99
Salsa
Tortillas
Greek Yogurt
Beer

And most important GASOLINE. It's generally 25 cents cheaper than other places in town, though not all Costcos have a gas station

Those 2kg bags of almonds.
Yellow mustard, basically anything I plan to use more than once.

That and for some reason in this country, girls go crazy at the chance to go to costco. I have little desire to know why exactly, but I'll abuse that for as long as I care to have a membership.

Man I've been living above a Costco for two years now.

That place changes a man.

Its like its run by some mad AI supercomputer when it comes to stocking products. Most of the products are local, which is crazy for a huge company. From there, they seem to know demographics better than any store I know.

I have been going to this Costco for five years, and in that time the demographics went from a mix of Euro Canadian and Chinese Canadian, to now a lot of Russian and Korean immigrants. The store now has local products that cater to those demographics, almost overnight it seems.

Do people talk to Costco and write down what they want to see at a particular Costco? How do they know this shit? And talking to the staff there, they make over $20/hr with full benefits.

Great company, how they manage to stay out of the SJW hit list is beyond me.

I spend $6K a year there now. That mostly feeds my family and takes care of most of the household items too.

- AAA grade Alberta beef, I buy the strip loin or sirloin and cut them into steaks.
- Fresh burger patties are good
- Fresh Wild sockeye
- Fresh wild albacore
- Fruit
- Coconut oil
- Coffee
- Carbonated water
- Vodka, Port, Champagne
- Boxed salad
- Roasted chicken, buy two and massacre them like cavemen with my son, after the gym. Then bone broth.

This sounds like my shopping list, so I'll just stop there.

^^^ Laner: Good stuff man!

There is a Costco down in Kanagawa, on the edge of Yokohama. I am not a member, but an American buddy of mine who lives near there is. Once every few months I join him for a shopping foray. The insane ORDER of the Japanese meets the gargantuan SCALE of the Americans. I truly love that place -- trips there are always well and truly *touchstoned*.

I live alone so I don't buy much, but I always pick up several massive jars of Skippy peanut butter, as well as almond butter, sacks of walnuts, and other things that will keep for a long time. The last time I even bought one of those short-sleeved button-down white dress shirts -- the kind the Japanese salarymen wear in the summer, with the one breast pocket. So I fit right in, LOL. Cotton, made in the USA!!

There's a pizza place inside the store, where they sell thick-doughed slices bigger than my head for a hundred yen. Most of the afternoon we just wander around hamming it up, teasing the little obaa-san retirees who work there part-time giving out samples of food, or chatting with the African immigrant stock boys, or making time with the J-MILFs who are shopping during the day. Good times.

I hear all sorts of amazing things about the Tokyo Costco, for exactly the things you are saying. Apparently j-girls are addicted to the pizza there.

Similar things are said of the Ikea there. Good place for a Tuborg and a hotdog and wait to hit on Japanese roommates.

Guacamole in the 16 pack container (doesnt turn brown after you open it because they are serving size)
Hard boiled eggs (cooked perfect and last a long time)
Egg whites in a carton
Almond milk (unsweetened)
Frozen individually wrapped chicken (in case I run out)
Whole chicken (only $5 and cooked fresh)
Organic chicken breast and thighs
Bags of broccoli
Flatout wraps for making rollup sandwiches
C4 Preworkout (cheaper than any online store)
Kirkland protein bars (taste like quest same macro profile)
Workout clothes (less than half price than in stores for name brand)
Air fresheners (keep the house smelling good)
Costco cleaning wipes (fit on a swiffer mop and are dirt cheap for cleaning floors)

I fill up the freezer:

8 packs of chicken Thighs
Racks of pork ribs
Boned leg of lamb
Farmed Salmon
Mahi Mahi
Boxes of bacon (both thin and thick cut)
Heavy cream.. half the price of the grocery store. I use heavy cream in my coffee and for cooking.

Some veggies.. they have the hydroponic butterhead lettuce, brussel sprouts, asparagus, which I buy regularly.

I was buying eggs, but the last time I went, everything was Free range and organic. I try to avoid anything labeled 'organic'.

Lol she does look a little fat though, based on her upper left arm and big wide back.

I approve of warehouse sized asses though.

Too bad they don't offer free samples of this product. I would take serving and come back for seconds.
