Cure for baldness?

Cure for baldness?

I have been taking Dutasteride capsules daily for the past few years. Stopped the hair loss, but it supposedly only works for a certain amount of time. Something like 10-15 years. Will probably just shave it all in the future, but for now the pills have acceptable results. 145 euros for 90 pills over here.

Baldness is caused by testosterone issues. Yes, it is genetic - but the actual symptoms are dietary.

To put it as simply as possible: Bad hormonal production plus bad elimination causes a bottleneck, leading to hormonal problems.

Production: Hormones are made from prostaglandins, which are made from fatty acids. Bad fatty acid ratios (omega fatty acids) will screw up your hormones. There is a great supplement called "The Total EFA" by Health from the Sun that will pretty much fix any fatty acid problems you'll have.

Elimination: Hormones are eliminated by liver conjugation and then flushed out through your bowels. If you have a jacked up gut, your hormones will not be eliminated properly. This is caused by candida, bad digestion (food combining), damaged gut lining, and slow digestion (fiber).

The gut is a whole topic in itself, but it truly is the base of all health. Bad gut health = bad health period.

Quick breakdown:

The liver conjugates hormones by wrapping them in carrier proteins (glutathione comes into play here) which "deactivates" them. Candida finds those carrier proteins to be delicious...and then reactivates them in your gut, which are then reabsorbed through your (probably damaged) gut lining.

Food combining is pretty simple. If you combine a whole bunch of different types of foods, it will take a long time to digest, meanwhile it rots into byproducts while your body is trying to handle it.

Fiber, both soluble and insoluble, is important for digestion. Soluble fiber is soothing to your gut lining and insoluble fiber keeps things moving. You want healthy, quick digestion (before that food starts to rot), and fiber is a necessary key.

A damaged gut lining is all of these factors combined, plus eating certain foods that are harsh on your intestinal tract. pasteurized dairy proteins, peanut butter, and gluten are common foods that westerners eat, which are extremely damaging. Eating such foods causes your body to "protect" itself by lining your gut with mucus. Repeated consumption causes so much mucus that it will actually form a plaque on the inside of your intestinal tract, hampering digestion and creating a breeding ground for parasites and candida, which eat through your gut lining.

Anyway, this is all a bit complicated. In the end, you have bad hormones floating around in your blood, which is why you have hair loss. Educate yourself and your kin on nutrition and it will be eliminated entirely.
This is probably the best post I've seen since it gets too the root. My diet is pretty bad 90% of the time but for the past year I've managed to eat clean atleast 1 day out of the week and every few months I'll manage a 1-2 week streak. The result is, over the summer I began noticing random hairs sprouting up all over my scalp. I kick myself thinking about what results I could've had, had I stayed 100% committed.

Other factors may include time spent out doors; notice how cubicle workers/office dudes tend to go bald at a much higher rate. Both Extreme Cold + Extreme Heat seem to be very beneficial, particular getting sunlight on your scalp. Notice how alot of long term homeless dudes tend to have full heads of hair despite alcohol abuse + poor diet.

Last factor maybe increasing blood flow by doing handstands/yoga inversions, Tom Hagerty Scalp Exercises, or manually kneading the skin between your fingers. You can only do them for about 30 mins straight before you start getting sore and have to stop. But for a half hour, if you only manage to get a 5% improvement it is still worth the time.

Interesting post. I wonder what the influence of the gut on balding is. Me, I've been slowly balding for some years now. Currently I'm on minoxidil, Ketoconazole shampoo and recently starting with coconut oil. Its not getting worse, possibly getting slightly better, but difficult to say. I also am a long time candida sufferer, so this post made me think that perhaps defeating candida and getting my stomach fixed can make some improvements. Anyone with similar experiences?

Focusing on balding especially for young guys is very important. It' a way to preserve or increase ones SMV by having a good head of hair, especially if girls have commented on liking it beforehand or after its grown back a lot.

This guy wrote an elaborate blog with what I think is the best advice available online. I haven't used any shampoos but I would be cautious as they fail to get to the root of the problem.

Key Points. 1 Block THC and promote vasodialation. Beer!!

2 White guys are the most fucked genetically

3 Guys bald in two ways, thinning hair is fixable, receding isn't really.

4Treatments are most effective the younger one starts.

I don't want to be completely bald, and have that old ragged look, but at the same time, there is more to worry about in life. I've got most of my hair for now, although I know my days are numbered and I enjoy having a full head as much as possible whilst it lasts. I know the top is thinning, not aggressivly but it does seems a matter of time. I am 26.5 now - so if I can hold onto my hair for another 3-4 years to 30 I would be happy. Longer would be even better but I have a feeling its going to be a few years.

I remember at age 17.5 looking into baldness treatments - almost 10 years on and whats changed since then? If they could cure baldness in the next 20 years that would be an amazing coup.

I don't think a lot of the studies out there and companies in existance are pure scams.

Thats not accurate based on the progress so far. Its just the progress has been slower then hoped.

Maybe it's better to say that the users are fooling themselves more than the companies are scamming them. Either way, the claims don't match the results usually.

Any time there is a group of people desperately wanting something that group will buy a lot of crap, and hope. It's no different than the weight loss industry, penis enlargement pills, get rich quick schemes etc. There may be some truth in them, some ingredients that do something, but overall its not going to get you what you want.
