I've found a nice high end spot (bar/restaurant) near me which i think holds good potential and high talent and i want to secure it as best i can (I've never rolled in these kind of venues before). Ive already been once briefly a few days ago and made friends with the guys working behind the bar. Now my plan is to go tonight for a few drinks and I'm gonna tip heavily maybe 50% on each drink. Then tomorrow return for saturday night which they said is the best night, and see how the experience differs from going out to normal bars/clubs where the staff don't know me.
My question is at what point can one stop tipping and just pay for the drinks as they are? How long will the magic affect of the initial tipping last? Will they be disappointed or even annoyed if you just stop tipping them after a while.
Can people break this down further, and give any other advice of that may be useful on how to lock a place down
Also is it even worth it to lock down a small low key spot? I understand in clubs you can skip lines and the bartenders will serve you first ahead of others. But if these things aren't an issue what are the real benefits?
Edit: from the UK, which is why i don't know much about these things
