Hamster Watch: Woman Has 85 Point Check-List

A woman goes on TV with her 85 point checklist, with some points having add ons from 'a' to 'p'.

Surprisingly, the women doing the interviewing and the present don't just "treat" viewers to another round of go grrl, but actually make fun of the 85 point checklist woman. The guest is more of a circus show than a role model.

A 3 who wants a guy who almost certainly doesn't exist, and if he did exist doesn't chase mid-late 30's women who wear control top.

Are you familiar with the concept of the Purple Squirrel in recruiting?

“The term “Purple Squirrel” is a recruiter's term for the elusive Candidate, with exactly the right qualifications and experience, to match the Client’s role”. The term is synonymous with the term “ideal candidate”.

The joke being that a Purple Squirrel isn't something that actually exists in nature.

Its usage seems to have risen in tandem with female-dominated Human Resources departments. I'm sure it's purely co-incidental.
