I just got home from a night out. Pretty pissed at how I performed and the outcome I got. I approached about 8 to 10 girls and though I'll post some of them that I can remember.

I thought I should share and start a thread on this even though its 7:43am I just got home and I'm still a bit drunk....

The background is Portugal, one of the hardest places to pull I think. But still one of the best places to train your game.

So tonight I started out by going to a small venue for a friends concert. Starts at 12:30. Its a bore and I have 2 beers and a black russian to start off. The place is weak so I vacate the joint and go home to leave the car. I have a brandy and a smoke just to warm things up and get a cab. I'm feeling good and I'm meeting a friend who's in the hottest club in town right now.

So I get there, There's a line but as usual I get in pretty easy. Usually bouncers get a good vibe from me so even when I'm don't know them which was the case tonight, it's all good. So I get in and the place is crowded. Nice vibes.... Full of girls in dresses, high heels and all pimped up. I like it.

Go straight to the bar and get the heat started. A double Cointreau on rocks with a twist please. Right away - the people on the bar already know how to make that drink to perfection for me. I think I'm the only one who uses that bottle around this country.


I meet my friend, he has 2 sixes with him, a french and a Chinese. I greet and show my presence for a while, analyse the room. Now, I know I can do better or at least try, so let the games begin.

#1 I approach a tall gall who gave me a stare on the way to the bar. Tattoo on her back, she looks brazilian and the tallest in the joint. I approach:
doc-Hi, whats your name?
-Oh...thats difficult (portuguese accent, fuck not brazilian! up the mountain we go)
doc-What kind of name is that? Your seem to be the only girl at my level (I'm pretty tall, so trying to get a connection here)
-(she laghs but cold)
doc-"Oh" is not much of a name, are you from around here?
-Yeah (cold)
blablabla... dont remember the rest but she was cold as hell, sending me away so I go....to the bar

Black Russian on the rocks. Here you go sir.
Go to the garden for a smoke. Spot two sisters. Hottest in the joint.
doc-Hi do you have the time?
-You have a watch!
doc-Yeah but its off I need to set it
-Oh so sorry but we dont have the time.
doc-Ok no problem. Where you from?
-Canada, Toronto. (smiles)
doc-Hey great city! what you doing here?
-Oh vacation , we have family here.
blablabla -We have to go to the WC, see you around!

I move. Dancing. Made approaches I dont care to remember.
Another brazilian looking but maybe not.

-Oh {this place}
doc-That realy nice, nice lines did you do it a long time ago?
-Uh not really
Turns back to her friends circle. I wasn't aware of this.

Go back to friends
Dance around with the french. Chi-chat with the chinese to make space for friend to tackle the french, as she seems in for some action.

Go to the WC and encounter with the canadians on the way. Once again they are really nice to me. Despite they outgame all other chicks on the floor by miles.

Back to friends and I flirt with the French girls. Consult with my friend and he says take her as she seems into you. So I dance flirt, go for the kiss and she plays difficult. I still feel I can do better so I pull away.

Meet canadians again and take the close for number. She doesnt have one and shes with family (cousins) but we talk and shes going to the beach tomorrow. She tells me where and when. Deal.

Im hanging out with the Frenchie and she says has no friends here and blabla. I say I can introduce her to anyone she wants. She laughs and I say to choose ANYONE. Two girls approach and she says THESE. I go there talk to the girls and game them into talking with her. They talk a bit to me but don't want to talk to her. LOL But she appreciated my creativity and dare. +1!

Two beauties in front of me while i'm with the french. I leave my friend with her and go talk to them.
doc- Hey!
-Hi
doc- What's up? whats your names?
-(introduce themselves)
small chat and leave for the toilet. Never to come back after a chat with some laughs.

Black beauty on the counter, last shot before french.

Back to french, try for the makeout. Shes interested but wants more that ONS. okay.

We leave, My friend gets DUI and I take french girl walking home. We talk about opera, her career and shit. Get to her door no kiss no bang nothing but SHE asks for my number and blabla about how we should get together tomorrow and blabla. okey

What I got?
-Place to meet canadians tomorrow. Really wishing for this to come through. Girls with beauty and with a smile and good attitude.
-French girls on call but shes a bit bellow par so not really interested.

Portuguese girls are fucked up. Lots of approaches and its really hard to get through. Maybe bad luck on the targets but some really bad attitude out of them. This is the way it is and it only gets better by trying and trying again....

The conversations don't strike as particularly good game but it's probably your vibe that's causing the cold reactions.

You can ask questions but it needs to come from the right place. If in the start of the interaction all you got is boring value leeching questions combined with a vibe that reeks of scarcity, your going to do bad.

The point is here its really difficult to actually get to the conversation part. As Julien says, I don't really need a very good oppener. The problem is not actually getting to the social part of it. It's really difficult to get into that here because of the huge bitch shields around. Tough mentalities.
I do pretty good in other countries.
Didn't see anyone pulling either.

What time were you in the club for? Like you just met your friend and then after your first approach you went to the bar, made approach number two and danced? If there are people on the dance floor when you're on your first drink in the club then you are likely out too late for chat based game. Also you sound very serious and straight to me, surely a more playful teasing vibe is more appropriate for cold approaches as a tourist.

Did you start in a bar and make approaches there to warm up? Get social? Cause it sounds like the girls who were already opened for you(the French girl who your friend introduced to you) seemed to like you fine, which makes me think you aren't putting out the right vibe from the offset. When you approached the pretty black girl and she blanked you I'm surprised you didn't either laugh at her or make a joke out of it.

Other things I'd mention is not going for the sure thing, the French girl was in to you, yet you didn't force the rejection. If you kept escalating with her until she knocked you back or slept with you then your night would've been a great success. Even if she rejected you in the end you would have been in a better position to get the bang if you see her again. Also if you got the kiss you can always move on to other girls after she's hit her limit.

Finally I see no mention of Kino or physical escalation of any kind. You got to the club some time after 12.30 so run a physical game, girls are too drunk to be holding up a decent chat. They want a guy who physically owns the room and will blow past their resistance. What Roosh calls dance talk hybrid game or caveman would be more effective than chatting to drunk girls in a corner.

Good luck man, you made your ten approaches and got blown out. Some times it's a massacre. You got a number and a possible day time date. I don't mean to be overly critical, just don't think you ran the optimal game.

Yeah I was a bit drunk when I wrote this so it just seems a bit aggressive where I'm not at all.

There was kino and all that with some of the girls. And the kiss with the french girl didnt happen because I used as a joke (french kiss) just after we met ans used it to escalate. We touched lips while dancing very close when the other guy left.... She's just a bit under par for me to want to pursue that though I know I can nail it.

Anyway, I wasn't looking to review on my approaches because I really didn't put enough details on it for you to get the full picture. My point was that it was one of those nights where I am actually proud of my game, but things just don't happen. It's part of the game.

Win some, lose some but always learn some.

Just my two cents, I would never follow up 'What's your name?' with 'Where are you from?' I think a lot of hot girls have decided that's the Most Boring Man in the World approach.

I think "Hi, my name is xyz, what's your name?' or some variant is fine, but then make some open-ended statements: about travel, the club, the music, what people are wearing, the town you're in, whatever.
